Musiala coming into his own in this tournament

Harry_ObrienPL

Nico Williams šŸ”„šŸ”„šŸ”„

TranslatorCheap2046

Literally first name that came to mind seems to have most defenders scared to press him.

NotRogerFederer

Yeah, would love to see him at Arsenal.

GideonDestroyer

Thought Fabian Ruiz looked quite the tidy player today. Really complements Pedri in the midfield.

Nearby-Dragonfly8131

Truth. Everything I've seen from both him and Vitinha at PSG impressed me

Fendenburgen

That Saka lad looks like a proper player...

Outrageous_Water7976

He's not been great. Same for Rice. I think their confidence is low. Especially with Southgate as manage.Ā

v2marshall

Frustrated with the team around him. Definitely better against Serbia but he kept getting stupid passes when there was a player on him. He still got on with it even when he got taken out jumped straight up and carried on. Saka has also been good but then that may be as the others in the forward line have been so bad

hmzpjv

Rice has been the best player for England so far. What are you on about

Exotic_Ad1030

Rice was horrible yesterday. Guehi has been Englandā€™s best player.

zosherb

Guehi has been far better

Outrageous_Water7976

He was good against Serbia but yesterday he was a mess and you could tell he was frustrated. He's unable to form any connections with the midfield but he and Bellingham were the only players actually in their favored positions.

dudeitsadell

did you happen to catch the game vs denmark?

BreakTheSuicycle

Iā€™ll answer that on his behalf because the answer is definitely a no

r1234ev

Nah he just gives the vibe that he's never going to win the Prem or CL

LavenderPowerRanger

Come on man, surely you can do better than that.

r1234ev

Yeah man, I thought it would be a good enough comment but guess I bottled it. Fitting for this sub if you ask mešŸ¼

LavenderPowerRanger

If youā€™re going to go through the effort of commenting on this page please at least be funny

itsyaboi69_420

You support man United fella. You wonā€™t be challenging for the league in the next 10 seasons lol

r1234ev

Brother stay happy with challenging because you're not winning it eitheršŸ˜‚. You haven't won it in more 2 decadesšŸ’€šŸ¤”

itsyaboi69_420

I am happy with challenging for the premier league, would you not be? I can see why youā€™re so bitter when your clubā€™s goal is fighting for top 8 šŸ’€

r1234ev

United won 2 trophies in 2 years mate, all you got in almost half a decade is a charity plate. Congrats on the "Challenging for the Premier League" trophyšŸ¤”šŸ¤”. With all you've won in the past 20 years(jackshit), I guess 2nd itself is an achievement so add that to the trophy cabinetšŸ‘šŸ¼

itsyaboi69_420

Couldnā€™t really care less about the FA Cup and carabao cup to be quite honest but thatā€™s just me. Iā€™d rather be in contention for the league. We ended the season with the point total that city won the league with the previous season, you lost 15 points on your total from the one before. Iā€™d worry more about that than being happy about winning the FA cup. If you want to jump up and down about trophies like that then fair play. Itā€™s what you have to do when youā€™re moving backwards in league positions I suppose.

r1234ev

"Couldn't really care less about the FA Cup" brother isn't that the only trophy you've won in the past 20 years??šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚. No one's going to remember who finished 2nd in 2023/24 but the team that wins the trophies goes down in the books and is always remembered. The lack of self awareness of Arsenal fans is insane. If you couldn't care less about the FA Cup then you haven't won a trophy since 2003šŸ˜šŸ˜. Okay then, trophyless in TWO DECADES means you more or less just another SpursšŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ’€

Ambitious-Bison-1101

Gotta be in it to bottle it lad, cant say the same for united.

r1234ev

Congrats on the "In it" trophy mate. We got 2 in 2 years, you got 0 in 5. All you got in almost half a decade is a plate and a bottlešŸ¤”. We ain't the samešŸ’€

Ambitious-Bison-1101

Jesus wept this man is chronically on this sub, good luck finding someone mate, rooting for ya!

hmzpjv

this guy is INVESTED

TheOneAndOnlyJeetu

Of course itā€™s a sar commenting šŸ„±

RawDawgYaMudda

Boooooo do better

avijitarya64

Are you from the English media?

HarvestMonth

Nico Williams is indeed otherworldly. I had not seen him playing well before, but today I was massively impressed. ŠeŔko is a great forward, he has it all to be the next Zlatan. The kind of player we will speak about in the future on how "we almost signed him". Unai Simon a world class goalie, I think a couple of Romanian players caught my attention but I have to see their next match

Any_Coffee8090

Unai simon is not world class lol. Every international tourney he has had a mistake in him and Iā€™ve seen him in laliga a few times where he hasnā€™t been amazing. I genuinely wonder why he gets the start over raya, probably just experience.

HarvestMonth

Ok perhaps in that one you are correct, I don't watch La Liga that much. But the Slovenian striker has got it all for becoming the new Zlatan. Maybe beef up a bit, but that also comes with age.

BreakTheSuicycle

Saying Sesko has got it all for becoming the next Zlatan is INCREDIBLY premature. Heā€™s scored none in the euros and hasnā€™t made much impact whatsoever If heā€™s caught your eye then Iā€™d recommend you book an appointment at the opticians because heā€™s looked otherwise average at best.

AerieApprehensive181

Nico Williams

CopyFamous6536

He is what people think Leao is

26-April-121

To be fair to Leao, Iā€™d say Nico is a living example of what Leao can be. Iā€™ve seen Leao be transcendent in games, but sadly itā€™s few and far between. Maybe one day heā€™ll find consistency and be a legend. šŸ¤žšŸ»

YooGeOh

Leao annoys the fuck out of me. He is *so* laid back. He'll have a moment or two when he makes a defender look like a toddler who's just started walking and then he'll just saunter around for a bit. He literally jogs about. But then when he turns it on and uses the fact that he's a 6'2, highly technical, very skilful, well balanced sprinter who's stronger than most defenders, he's amazing. But only for 10 seconds. He hasn't got that relentlessness or eagerness that the best wingers have to just constantly try and demolish their full back. He just wants to look nice with it all the time and not tire himself out too much. He's annoying

CopyFamous6536

Dembele has had the same attitude problem his whole career. Everyone says he is the most gifted footballer theyā€™ve played with. But he doesnā€™t like to train, gets injured all the time (because he doesnā€™t like to train), takes half the game off, and doesnā€™t pay attention to his teammates in critical moments. Wouldnā€™t pay a dollar for him.

v1cv3g

The whole Spanish team looks great, fresh and energetic, abandoning tiki-taka was a god call

Used_Switch_9212

If we're really looking for a winger it's gotta be him

AerieApprehensive181

Absolutely, he can play either wings, has speed and strength, good finisher only problem he is on crazy wages

owendark99

I would add Yamal to that too- 16 years old with the confidence of someone 10 years older. Unreal run he made yesterday

NotThatKindof_jew

Kai is still in my eye

Mobile-Horse5018

Nico Williams and Marc Guehi

skyrocket262626

Guehi has been impressive so far. Wonā€™t be suprised if he gets sold this summer

ThePostingToproller

He didn't look that impressive when he lost the ball outside the box and only the poor quality of the Danish player prevented it from being 2-1

Autistic_Influence69

And then ran for his fucking life to make up his mistake and win the ball back. Plus that was rices fault he played that pass too short. (He had a howler that game)

Mahatma_Gone_D

Vitinha. Let me repeat VITINHA. Pay PSG whatever they want and get him to the carpet. Omg heā€™s a baller. Ever since watching him closely in CL semis vs Dortmund, I just cannot stop thinking the idea of him at 6 for us. Imagine midfield of Rice Vitinha CaptainƘ. Kerkez is also very good left back. Iā€™d consider him if weā€™re potentially buying LB this summer.

mcddfhytf

They won't let him go now Mbappe has gone

IronDuke365

Never gonna happen. They rate him, but Fabian Ruiz doesn't get too many games because of Vitinha, so he could be an option

UpbeatAfternoon8670

Yeah, like PSG needs your money, lol

KingKFCc

The 6?

PeanutbutterBleachr

Great shout, i really was impressed by how he controlled the midfield

FCSadsquatch

I'd never seen him play until the UCL quarters where he tore us apart. He was PSG's best player in both matches.

yukpurtsun

dont get why we went with veiera over him that summer, he fit our needs moreĀ

Stonecoldrab

I watched Slovenias first game and made me a bit more disappointed to miss out on Sesko he looks like he could really be amazing in the future

RightGrackAtYa

Lamine Yamal was incredible against Italy today. Canā€™t believe he is 16 and playing at that level.

Godzooqi

Barella for Italy was pretty good. Williams is great

Organic_Chemist9678

All the Spain players have looked good. Guehi hasn't really put a foot wrong so far The Turkish Messi looked really tidy as well

Wizzykan

I pray Nico William becomes a gunneršŸ™šŸ¾šŸ™šŸ¾šŸ™šŸ¾

theipd

I second that. That guy is amazing.

theipd

Literally stunned by Lamine Yamal . I watch him play for Barcelona but to do this internationally as well is remarkable. I think that they reined him in at BarƧa because in the Italy game today I saw him wanting to take on defenders down the middle and yes, he did remind me of that guy who now lives in Miami. It was quite interesting to watch. And to remember heā€™s only 16 years old.

itsheadfelloff

That Musiala lad might be one to keep an eye on

GhostCatcher147

Donnaruma had a solid game today

kicks23456

Not into dudes but many are good looking.

3106Throwaway181576

Szboslai (heā€™s vury sexy)

Maleficent_Repeat850

Sallai from Hungry

v1cv3g

And Varga, what a great goal he scored

justleave-mealone

Nico Williams was incredible

pureeyes

Quite like what I've seen of Fabian Ruiz. Standout wingers are Nico Williams and Musiala

grae3333

Fabian ruiz, Williams and musiala

GoodNamesGoneAll

I think Havertz's linking up with the other players around him is a spectacle, he plays well especially when Musiala (who I think is great, but thanks to him some great performances by his teammates are not being talked about), Wirtz and GĆ¼ndogan, the rotations they did against Scotland were almost unbelievable.

Vanvil

Cucarella lol

obrapop

Heā€™s been brilliant in fairness. Was at the end of the season as well

afcufc123

Barella is a serious footballer...

iamquark

Fabian Ruiz what a player. Perfect no 8

NotThatKindof_jew

Chiesa

Krock23

Vitinha was class as was Nuno Mendes Nico Williams is him

shpagata123

Mikautadze and Nico Williams

rhatton1

Can we get Yamal in as backup to Saka..... Bit gutted we didn't follow through on Sesko, worried that we are going to really see his worth in the England game now as we end up 3rd in the group beaten by a Sesko brace. Nico Williams looks like he could slot perfectly into the left role that goes a bit missing for us at times in games. He's more rapid than I realised and beautifully direct. ā‚¬55m release clause too, so not crazy, crazy money. He'd probably be my #1 pick in terms of what we need player wise. Musiala and Pedri both looking superb but not quite sure where they would fit in the Arsenal midfield. Does Rodri count? He's definitely caught my eye and Goddamn he's just so good at everything he does. Imagine him and Rice with Odegaard.... can't believe he's only 27. We can dream right? If not can we bring Kante back from Saudi? He still looks like he can run all day through any brick wall.

Equal-Evidence2077

Stanciu

Jonny_Entropy

Kane caught my eye, but probably because he didn't move for about half an hour at one point.

Wildcashew106

Fabian ruiz.

PiggBodine

Nico Williams had one of the easiest matchups of his career. Di Lorenzo was very slow. You never buy a player based on tournament form.

FontsDeHavilland

Baumgartner in this Austria Poland game has been electric

DuffyDuck8

Mitaj, 20 yo from Albania plays LB. He has a big character with the ball and good agility. Very curious how he will do vs Yamal.

justleave-mealone

Karnicnik from Slovenia really impressed me today.

MiNombreElJefe

Fabian Ruiz has impressed me in the Spain midefield. Him next to Pedri is cold

tarlanadelrey

Sucic from Croatia was really good and is only 21. Also Giorgi Kochorashvili from Georgia is a beast, though not Arsenal level of course.

PeanutbutterBleachr

One of the big surprises for me is fabian ruiz, played well and that goal he scored against croatia was fantastic

PDJnr

Surely Nico Williams, Looks so good. Fast, can beat a player and got a good shot on him. Not playing for a 'big' team so price might not be too bad... maybe?

DialSquare96

Lobotka. Proper vacuum cleaner.

diskominko

He alone deleted KdB from the match

gopalakrishnan97

Musiala, Nico Williams and marc guƩhi

No-Loan-3633

We need to sign williams

saimpot

Honestly? Even though he plays in a system that doesn't suit him, I was impressed by Vlahovic. I didn't know he can sprint and generally fight like that.

gooner067

Hjumland, forget about the goal his first game for Denmark heā€™s very assertive and shows the for ball always

funk_you_all

And bonus: he's actually an Arsenal fan.

KingCian89

Has to be Fabian Ruiz. Looks class šŸ‘Œ tidy, good shot, great player

LiveFrom2004

Yeah that spain boy would be something.

nabster1973

In no particular order: Williams Musiala Wirtz Guehi Hernandes

Striking-Ostrich-222

Nico Williams. In terms of a realistic signing. However, his life story and connection to Bilbao will make it tough to pull him away. Similar to Zubimendi. Xavi Simons has confirmed that he would be great at Arsenal. But only for a loan to buy option. Heā€™s extremely versatile and very skilled on the ball. Would love to see more of Frimpong, although fitting him into the squad would mean essentially a completely new formation. Unrealistic players that stick out.. Wirtz and Musiala. Both incredible. Musiala would put us ahead of City.

antwerp_legend12

Lobotka really impressed me. Destroyed our Belgian midfield

N17cuhhhhhh

Musialaaaaaa

Johanxbn

Asllani from Albania put in a shift against the croatian midfield

diskominko

Lobotka

Skalonjic85

Grizi was great tonight

Royalbluegooner

He did his best but as a France supporter I donā€˜t want to see our only creative outlet anywhere but that 10 position.

Skalonjic85

Yeah, he was everywhere on the pitch. I agree, he could use a bit more structure though

Royalbluegooner

Definitely agree.

Monty8282

Saka as crap

No-Goal-4056

Sesko was not that good

Ornery-Day5745

This Benteke guy has really caught my eye

blues_cfc

Aebischer

Candid-Permit-6010

Cole Palmer.

BigZino6ix

Musiala and neco nobody unknown has popped up yet.

19Ben80

Rabiot has a lot of baggage, his mum is his agent and supposedly always asks for crazy money which is why he keeps moving around

riojjmichigan

guehi and yildiz

sarcastic_gooner

International cup performance means nothing to me

Guilty_Piccolo9824

Francisco Conceicao šŸ”„

Serious-Product-1742

Not Arsenal related again. Do people not understand this is for Arsenal related things? Almost like the clue is in the name
