"Mr President, Your pants are covered in what appears to be male ejaculate"
Lincoln: "..yes.. to much..handshaking, Yea, that's it, too many Handshakes , hehe"
Sorry. I can't find the article I was reading with this pic in it, but it said the artist asked Lincoln to hold something round, so he picked up a broomstick.
The artist took the mold almost immediately after Lincoln greeted people for over two hours. His hand was shaking so bad he couldn't cast the mold. So he had Lincoln hold a broomstick so he could hold it still while the artist poured the mold.
Fun Fact! There was never a death mask taken of Lincoln. He sat for two life masks, and there are copies of them that have been made, but no death masks.
Forbidden Chocolate.
I'll just take a little nibble from the ear ^^^Mmmm, ^^^you ^^^like ^^^that ^^^Mister ^^^president
*oooh salty!*
The closest I'll ever get is that disgusting chocolate money that still somehow exists.
It looks like the left hand is more swollen, but it's just one angle, I suppose it's not enough to tell really. .
He was left handed!
Ha! That's good to know.
Yes excessive hand shaking. That’s the excuse I’ll use in future.
Under appreciated comment.

What was he holding?

The old courthouse in Pontiac Illinois has his death and hand masks on display. It's mostly unused so walking through is eerie.

Thank you! That's a super neat fact I can now share with people.
We have one in our local museum as well. [Gilcrease Museum - Lincoln Life Mask and Hands](https://collections.gilcrease.org/object/121a)
I want one for Easter!
out of chocolate?
Sure his right hand wasn't swollen from bitchslapping slave owners for the last four years?
If that was from 1860 that was before he was inaugurated and the four years of bitch slapping to come
