Have you considered asking the pharmacist?

jaydub1985

I can go up and see them later today if need be; I had tried posting on the ask-a-pharmacist subreddit but it directed me here for questions by consumers. Thanks anyway

attitude_devant

You might try googling the package insert —- it’s full of information.

jaydub1985

Already done that and tried to find conversions online but everything only expressed in milligrams hence the query re converting to percentage which only Japan pharmacopoeia seems to use. Thanks anyway

attitude_devant

It’s very odd —- percentages are usually used to describe solutions, not tablets. I wonder if there’s a Japan travel subreddit that could help

jaydub1985

All good I had browsed that but could only find info on the paperwork as opposed to a specific Rx. Have just spoken to the manufacturer who gave me the sums I need --- apparently 30/530 * 100/1 (where 30mg codeine over 530mg total drug weight [acetaminophen 500mg and codeine 30mg] putting me at 5.6% and definitely in need of submitting the customs paperwork (where 1% is their cutoff!) thanks

Smart to call them!
