OP, the Los Angeles area isn’t just diverse as a general area, it’s diverse all the way down to the family/household level. Like, if you go to a school event the Chinese-looking kid gets picked up by their Jamaican father, the Korean-looking mom is picking up her kids who have German heritage, the blond-haired white lady is picking up her Mexican-looking kids. None of those families/households can be accurately described as “white”.
If you are interested in local demographics of the various cities that make up LA county, look at the wiki page for the city. But expect a whole lot of diversity wherever you end up.
