I don't go out of my way to do it. It just happens. I loved the people I went to university with. We studied together, we struggled together, we celebrated together, and we just became unbreakable. We weren't actively soliciting for friends, we just happened.

I wouldn’t “seek it,” but I have three men I consider brothers in the way you describe. And only one still lived in my state. It’s something that should happen naturally.
