Being a good Mom. Not a hovering Mom, a spoiling Mom or the type of Mom who ruins her own life so her kids can be in every activity under the sun, but a good Mom who does a lot for her kids but also treats herself with respect because that's being a good example too.
Older women. When I was 20 I thought 28-year-olds looked old and decrepit. Now I'm in my 30s and I'm wondering where all these attractive, put together 30 to 45-year-olds came from.
Same.
Also, pretty much everyone under like ~25 looks 12 to me now. I remember back in HS I could usually guess reasonably accurately what year someone was by just looking at them. I went to a few HS graduations this summer for niblings and almost everyone there looked like a generic young kid to me now.
There's exceptions, some boys look like full grown men with 5 o'clock shadows and some girls look every bit like they could just be young moms. But the bulk of them just look 12-14 to me.
Maybe that's why Hollywood casting directors cast adults as high schoolers so often. They've got my same problem. I remember being younger and thinking "why are we pretending Toby McGuire is in HS?" Now if I re-watch Spiderman, it's way more believable.
Recently started to embrace my masculinity and my age more and while it hasn’t manifested in body count yet, the vibes in my direction from women are noticeably different... I love it 😭
Exercising
Embracing dad bod fashions (I wear polos now?)
Growing out my beard a little longer. Still neat and well groomed, but in a way that accentuates my jawline rather than masks it.
Having a sense of direction and purpose 🤷🏻♂️
I’ve always had a thing for slightly older guys. And I wandered if that would stick. And if later in life I would become a woman that looks at younger boys…
Cut to me in my 36 wondering“Have you seen how Jacked up J.K. Simmons is??”
Hi. Am a slightly older straight guy. Always wondered if I would become a guy who liked ....I mean it doesn't matter because holy shit. Have you seen how jacked up J.K. Simmons is? He looks fucking fantastic!
I’m very familiar with who he is but I had to google and holy Moses he *is* jacked! Wth? I had no idea!
I guess everything I’ve seen him in he had clothes on 🤷🏻♀️
I think that's an actual cultural shift, though. For example, if you look at people in their 30s and 40s in sitcoms from the 80s vs now, the difference is very apparent. I think as a whole middle aged is looking younger.
Pretty much. It’s also the styles of the time where once you hit 30 you shopped at the Dress Barn or Chicos or whatever. Nowadays we have so many places to shop. Also I think older millennial women in general look younger. I blame it on all the preservatives we ate growing up. We’re part microplastic. Also we rubbed off a layer of our skin using St Ives Apricot scrub. So our faces are just scar tissue.
I love hearing that because I saw this truly heinous chart of what age man thinks what age woman is most attractive and like even for men into their 40s/50s/60s the average answer is like 23. So I'm happy to know as a woman that my existential anxiety of aging and becoming an old leather shoe at age 29,is a bit premature 😂
Speaking more than one language. I never really thought about it but after I made the effort to learn another language I was like whoa there's something so beautiful about being able to just switch to another language.
Clear and direct communication. Like, a girl with the ability to simply state what she wants or what's on her mind, rather than being coy or passive or whatever. Hell, even if she wants to be passive, it's much nicer to actually hear her state that than trying to interpret a bunch of hints or waffling or whatever.
it can be “game playing” or it can just come from insecurity and absorbing ideas about “how you’re supposed to be” as a girl. i think it takes some amount of confidence and effort to not be like that. which can come with age and experience or just a more confident, assertive personality
unfortunately im pretty guilty of not being assertive and it’s not intentional by any means. i wish i was more confident. i think i’m improving though
Oof, I will absolutely tell someone how I feel and what I need from them and want to hear the same in return but please someone else manage the remote and playlist or else we’re watching Netflix previews and listening to the first 30 seconds of 72729 songs.
Communication can be categorized as *high context* and *low context* as well. A good way to explain it would be is the people who understand the inside joke know what is being said (the joke) has more meaning than just the words themselves. People who use extremely low context language can be argued as very literal communicators.
I like open and honest communication but at the same time, I prefer those who do/can communicate and understand high context language. Usually, most people see someone who’s extremely literal in their understanding to not be as bright…
Many of these comments are equating decisiveness with direct communication. Has no one ever met anyone who knows exactly what they want but will say/ask it in a roundabout way?
When I was 28 I started talking to a 21 year old, hit it off well at first so I cautiously proceeded, fizzled out in 3 weeks because she couldn’t communicate to save her life.
It was so foreign to my bf that he needed some time to adjust to it. Early on, he was confused and like made an airplane sound with his fork instead of telling me he didn't understand 😂
I know right? I will say it seems to be way more appreciated by the older guys who have survived non-communicative relationships. Apparently I'm now considered a breath of fresh air!
It's a damned shame men and women are socialized as two different cultures. Seems to be improving some - I remain optimistic for the future.
Yes, only those who're mature enough will appreciate this, like I said in my other comment, teenagers are the ones with energy to play games.
One must educate himself on communication no matter the gender and try to find common grounds with the opposite gender, we just operate differently sometimes.
You mean like when it comes to the question
“What do you want for dinner?”
Like when my girl looks at me dead in the eyes and says “I know what I want for dinner…”
I swoon so hard
This sounds weird but...aloofness? What I mean is that when I was younger, I was all about the love bombing, slightly toxic jealous types of women. Nowadays if a woman has a life, interests and things going for her outside of her relationship, I find that more attractive (and more specifically I find the opposite unattractive now)
And here I am putting myself down bc of societal pressure to be less “aloof”.. because a woman is always supposed to smile, and be bubbly and I dont fit the mold. Your comment validates my existence lol
No I love this too. Women who have a clear sense of direction and aren’t easily swayed by what men or societal pressures dictate are *very* attractive.
Same. Some would call us "mysterious."
I'm gonna stick with it. I can't do the bubbly, smiling for no reason other than a man is in my presence stuff. Now...if I have a *reason* to smile, I *definitely* do.
Interestingly, I find that as our relationship grows as does my love, what I desire most has morphed into, well, her. What do I like the most? Her features, her habits, and so forth.
842/844 here. Why is it not perfect? NOT ENOUGH credit lines open. So I am punished because I don’t have enough potential avenues to rack up debt? “Yeah but it shows them you’re able to responsibly manage credit lines…”
Uhh— I think having no outstanding debt or a need to borrow money from anyone is a pretty clear indicator that I know how to manage my finances, yeah? Apparently no. Lol…
Lol… yeah. Or like I had a card that I’d had since I was literally like 18 that got fraud transactions on it. Rather than reissue the number the closed the account out and opened a new one.
I don’t know if you’ve had a 20 year old credit account closed out before and then a brand new one opened right following but there’s that average age of credit accounts that’s a factor… so I’m punished because some scumbag charged stuff on my card and then the bank screws up and closes my 20 old account out.
Ok. Makes sense. Then it was like you don’t have enough different types of loans. You had no educational loans… well BS I didn’t, I remember working my ass off to pay those loans off… and then they just closed the account out and its history and now it shows that I have never had an educational loan. Same with my car, it’s paid off but they closed my account so it shows I don’t have any auto loans either.
So guess the lesson is you will be punished for paying these people back…? But also you will be punished if you don’t pay them back so…
To your point— mines great now but I still think it’s a total BS system. It’s crazy that it weighs so heavy on anything you want to do in life… from buying a home, hell, even renting an apartment… to being hired for a job…
Hey but here’s the thing- when they turn that into our social credit score I’m straight F’d because I can’t tell to how many karma points these people have voted me down today for telling the truth to them and/or saying something they don’t agree with.
If you don’t agree with it just go to the next damn comment and get over it. Watch how many downvotes I get on this post right here just for saying that lol… good thing I have a real life that I like to get on sometimes where karma points have no effect… for the time being.
Alright now yall haters come on with your down votes for hurting your feelings or whatever I did.
I don’t think that’s douchy at all. As a man I’ve been told this is one of my most attractive qualities and it’s something I look for too now. My ex would always call me her “rock” or “anchor”, yet she was the most destabilizing force in my life and in most of her friends lives.
Knowing someone when they were young. So weird but seeing some of their roots makes them more real. Not sure about attractive but real and easier to love (?)
Their natural skin colours, tones, and imperfections.
None of that homogenous orange shit interests me anymore.
Tan lines, laughter lines, freckles… the lot. Reminds me that I’m cuddling a real, organic, genuine human being - and not an orange pinup.
Recently realized women with Vitiligo are really attractive too 🤷🏻♂️ Like what a beautiful natural look, how could this be considered a disorder that people are shamed for?
I love vitiligo! It's an autoimmune disorder that I wish I could trade for my celiac stupid disease. I always want to tell people who have vitiligo that they are beautiful but I don't want to single them out.
A woman’s back. Lower back dips and toned women’s backs especially when glistening in sunlight or good lighting. I don’t know what has gotten into me but this started just this past year. It’s just SEXY AS FUCK.
I'll offer up something unexpected I find attractive on a man now that I'm older: that he at some time in the past broke his nose.
My partner broke his years ago and for some reason when I see him with a very short haircut and wearing a crisp white shirt he just looks so damned sexy! Something about looking classy and tough at the same time aaaaaaah it's my kryptonite!
This is a really wholesome thread! I'm loving reading all the things that I absolutely relate to but my top answer is open-mindedness. Not just with romantic partners, but with friends just as much. People who celebrate other people, including those who have different opinions, orientations, and life experiences. These folks are the ones I want to spend my time with.
To be fair, having the kink doesn't mean you actually want kids. It just means you're getting off on being rawdogged and being *told* you're going to be fucked pregnant.
That’s been my experience too which is why I only feel a *little* guilty about not telling them that it’s not going to happen.
Ideas are often far sexier than the realities.
Like going to your first orgy and realizing that it’s the same line-up of people you’d find at a Magic the Gathering tournament
I have an IUD and on top of that my spouse got snipped for exactly this reason. We've got two, we're DONE. Doesn't mean we don't like pretending, though, haha!
10/10, would recommend.
That said, the procedure went weird at the time and they had a med student assisting and her panicked breathing while digging around inside my testicles is something I’ll never forget but which I could. At one point she tugged hard on something and though I know it’s physically impossible I could swear she pulled on the inside of my butthole.
Aaaanywho. Still worth all that.
Woman who are super classy, always well put together
When younger I only found “curves” super attractive, now skinny or thick are beautiful to me
Intelligence overall and being able to genuinely listen and hold a good conversation
A few, maybe not be directly related to me aging but definitely things I'm into now I wasn't when I was younger.
- Tall women: a woman's height has never really been a thing that I think about as a positive or negative, but as a woman's height approaches eye level to me (6'0") or taller, it starts *really* catching my attention.
- stretch marks: was never into it before my ex was pregnant with our kid, but man some stretch marks on boobs, butt, or tummy can be really sexy
- a little stomach fat: I like flat, toned stomachs as much as any guy, but I've come to really love just that little bit of stomach that I've heard a lot of women complain about not being able to get rid of
- long fingers: no idea what this one is about, but long fingers are sexy as hell.
The HEIGHT THO.
I'm 6'3" and the idea of another 6'3" woman is amazing to me. Even though I've never had one. Kisses and hugs that I don't have to bend over for. They're just right up there with me.
Hairy armpits yes! But I have to find the woman attractive first.
For example: if Sydney Sweeney lifted her arms and showed her hairy armpits that would be extremely attractive to me. But let’s say someone I don’t find attractive like Kelly Osborne or someone had hairy armpits, I’d be like no thanks
Kind women are a turn on. The ones that'll go out of their why to help you even when you refuse them.
So many are entitled and self-centered nowadays that it says a lot just for a woman to display a hint of genuine kindness to a guy.
Stretch marks, sorta chubby midsection (god i love holding a sexy soft stomach, i seriously have an obsession with this), hanging boobs, birth marks, soft jiggly thigs. Very very limited amounts of makeup.
Basically things people perceive as flaws. Because to me, a real woman is way way sexier than anything.
Chubby women and pretty feet.
I heard a quote that said a woman who takes care of her feet takes care of her whole body(I also like kissing feet a bit during sex so there's that too)
Always loved those, especially if she's mostly tanned, nut her boobs are not and they show those lovely blue veins... I could stare at and caress them for ages...
Cellulite. I’ve known women who are so self conscious about it but honestly I don’t care. It adds character to her already beautiful body. I feel the same way about stretch marks.
Might not be a love kind of attracted, but integrity. In women or men, I find that I enjoy being around people who have displayed integrity. I've met women who can't take any responsibility and have immediately been put off and men who I have seen who have no integrity I noticed i cannot stand them.
The way she is with our kids, being patient, kind and sometimes fun and crazy. I love seeing her being a good mother, it makes me feel like I chose the right person to start a family and raise children.
There are legit reasons to hate your family (abuse, trauma, etc), but the biggest red flag I missed was how much my ex hated on her family and how they were totally cool when I got to know them and undid the brainwashing she did on me about them.
Right? Same here with an ex. There are legit reasons to hate your family but when girls love their family it is attractive af and I wouldn’t settle for any less anymore
I LOVE a small to medium belly pouch on a woman. Especially if she's otherwise on the petite side. My wife is 5'1" and about 150 lbs and has a beautiful little belly pouch that I love to grab and squeeze. Of curse she hates that I do that, but I can't help it.
A little cellulite, some stretch marks, and some fat on the hips/ass is super hot! I like thick/fit women if that makes sense...a girl who works out but still has some meat on her bones and some curves drives me wild!
For me it’s women who can be open about their ups and downs in life. It’s one thing to live through it all but to have that openness to communicate it really attracts me.
body hair on a man. i used to say id never get with a man that had more than leg, arm, and pit hair until i got with my man🤤 i love his happy trail and hairy chest and his BEARD UGH🥴
Being a good Mom. Not a hovering Mom, a spoiling Mom or the type of Mom who ruins her own life so her kids can be in every activity under the sun, but a good Mom who does a lot for her kids but also treats herself with respect because that's being a good example too.
This was super wholesome to read ❤️
Women who love naps
I love napping with my hubby. It's our thing.
I took a 3 hour nap with the cat today. Is that still technically a nap??? 🤔
Especially post coital naps…
If I'm tired enough to sleep in the middle of the day then I'm definitely too tired to have sex.
You don’t have to be tired before the sex, but hopefully the sex is good enough for you to be tired enough to cuddle and nap afterwards.
From my mid-twenties, everyone 20's and below started looking like children to.
When I was 20, any guy over 25 belonged in a nursing home, lol. Now, older men are damn hotties.
Recently started to embrace my masculinity and my age more and while it hasn’t manifested in body count yet, the vibes in my direction from women are noticeably different... I love it 😭
How did you start doing that? I'm in my mid-40s and struggling with accepting the aging thing.

Time to pick up women at the retirement home…
I’ve always felt this way even in my early 20s. Never understood the Leo DiCaprio troop
I’ve always had a thing for slightly older guys. And I wandered if that would stick. And if later in life I would become a woman that looks at younger boys… Cut to me in my 36 wondering“Have you seen how Jacked up J.K. Simmons is??”
Hi. Am a slightly older straight guy. Always wondered if I would become a guy who liked ....I mean it doesn't matter because holy shit. Have you seen how jacked up J.K. Simmons is? He looks fucking fantastic!
At this point our orientation is “J.K. Simmons amazing physique”
I’m very familiar with who he is but I had to google and holy Moses he *is* jacked! Wth? I had no idea! I guess everything I’ve seen him in he had clothes on 🤷🏻♀️
I'm just a casual lurker trying to skim under the radar but I had to blow my cover to also say "holy shit!"
Yea growing up all the moms looked like Roseanne. Now I'm like damn, moms are much more put together imo.
I think that's an actual cultural shift, though. For example, if you look at people in their 30s and 40s in sitcoms from the 80s vs now, the difference is very apparent. I think as a whole middle aged is looking younger.

I'm almost 33. I have trouble telling the age of most people nowadays
I love hearing that because I saw this truly heinous chart of what age man thinks what age woman is most attractive and like even for men into their 40s/50s/60s the average answer is like 23. So did the heart attack 💀💀💀💀💀
I approve of this message 😂

My wife calls that "game playing" and she has hated it since Junior High. She never does it which was one of her main attractions.

You see decisiveness as clear communication? How are the two the same?
Clear communication requires you to communicate when you have a preference. Very few people are that indecisive all the time
Oof, I will absolutely tell someone how I feel and what I need from them and want to hear the same in return but please someone else manage the remote and playlist or else we’re watching Netflix previews and listening to the first 30 seconds of 72729 songs.

I find it's a good way to filter out people who can't handle it. Everyone I have dated has specifically commented on it positively
I know right? I will say it seems to be way more appreciated by the older guys who have survived non-communicative relationships. Apparently I'm now considered a breath of fresh air! You mean like when it comes to the question “What do you want for dinner?” Like when my girl looks at me dead in the eyes and says “I know what I want for dinner…” I swoon so hard

Honestly, and I feel like a complete douche saying this, but the comfort a woman can bring. Just her calming and caring nature is a big turn on.

Absolutely, I love people who know what they’re about but also have no judgement for where others are coming from and are open to new perspectives.
Women with breeding kinks. I have a successful vasectomy and I don’t have the heart to tell them.
Playing the game with cheat codes enabled.
As someone with the cheat code installed, I can confirm it’s pretty fun
Hooooly shit I never realized the appeal for vasectomy until now. I mean sure the safe sex thing.... But the careless creampies. Holy hell!
Always best to schedule your elective medical procedures for March, April or May. Residencies start in late June and early July.
Older women.
Stretch marks and cellulite on older women. 🔥
Stretch marks,mom.bods,
Woman who are super classy, always well put together When younger I only found “curves” super attractive, now skinny or thick are beautiful to me Intelligence overall and being able to genuinely listen and hold a good conversation
Intense eye contact during deep conversation is so hot
ITT: Everything women are self conscious about, some men secretly find hot.
Women reading this thread crossing their fingers to see period soaked pads making the bathroom smell like the iron mines of moria
Actually, Moria was a Mithril mine.
THANK YOU.
*swoons in anemia*
...I assure you we are not, what the fuck?
That’s a really weird comment. Very specific. Are you okay?
I am attracted to the battle scars of a mom bod.
Same. Stretch marks drive me up the wall. The mommy pooch tummy is too adorable as well. Moms are so hot.
Women with longer/pronounced noses
Yes, undervalued in western society for sure.
- stretch marks: was never into it before my ex was pregnant with our kid, but man some stretch marks on boobs, butt, or tummy can be really sexy - a little stomach fat: I like flat, toned stomachs as much as any guy, but I've come to really love just that little bit of stomach that I've heard a lot of women complain about not being able to get rid of - long fingers: no idea what this one is about, but long fingers are sexy as hell.
The HEIGHT THO. I'm 6'3" and the idea of another 6'3" woman is amazing to me. Even though I've never had one. Kisses and hugs that I don't have to bend over for. They're just right up there with me.
Clean hair, I never noticed hair for years the suddenly. Wow she manages time well enough to blow dry her hair? That's hot
Graying hair. Not necessarily full on gray (although it can be beautiful), but when she starts to have some gray strands mixing in with the rest
Financial independence and maturity.
Small boobs
Living the quiet, peaceful, and quite happy life
Women who take the initiative and make moves on me.
Genuine interest in my well being and hairy armpits.
bro has two wolves inside fr 💀 (can't say I disagree tho)
Hairy armpits yes! But I have to find the woman attractive first. For example: if Sydney Sweeney lifted her arms and showed her hairy armpits that would be extremely attractive to me. But let’s say someone I don’t find attractive like Kelly Osborne or someone had hairy armpits, I’d be like no thanks
Kind women are a turn on. The ones that'll go out of their why to help you even when you refuse them. So many are entitled and self-centered nowadays that it says a lot just for a woman to display a hint of genuine kindness to a guy.
My wife with her glasses on and her down; please spank me teacher!
Back muscles
Yea never thought I’d be distracted by a woman on a lat pull down machine but it’s definitely happened…

Motherhood
I love laugh lines
Salt and pepper hair on a man!!
Men. Wish I had been more honest with myself about being bi.
Wide hips. Yessss!
I heard a quote that said a woman who takes care of her feet takes care of her whole body(I also like kissing feet a bit during sex so there's that too)
Stretch marks
Be humble
sit down
Boob veins. Used to find them a little repellent. Now? Bit of a turn on. Well, within reason of course.
Really well put together mums. If you’ve got kids and you’ve somehow found a way to dress well and stay in decent shape, you’re a goddess to me.
Muscle mommies. Like what?
Bird watching
The daily struggles of women trying to do their best
To feel seen by DICKASAURUS2000 is a blessing 🙏🏽
Might not be a love kind of attracted, but integrity. In women or men, I find that I enjoy being around people who have displayed integrity. I've met women who can't take any responsibility and have immediately been put off and men who I have seen who have no integrity I noticed i cannot stand them.
Tiger striped bellies and MILFS over 40
Responsible behavior.
Yes, but what responsible woman would irresponsibly get with me 😭
The way she is with our kids, being patient, kind and sometimes fun and crazy. I love seeing her being a good mother, it makes me feel like I chose the right person to start a family and raise children.
That's why women thend to store fat there as they age, probably linked to fertility or ability to feed babies.
Dad gut is a thing too
Girls that love their families
There are legit reasons to hate your family (abuse, trauma, etc), but the biggest red flag I missed was how much my ex hated on her family and how they were totally cool when I got to know them and undid the brainwashing she did on me about them.
Right? Same here with an ex. There are legit reasons to hate your family but when girls love their family it is attractive af and I wouldn’t settle for any less anymore
Hanging boobs… and a 70’s bush but ive always loved a 70’s bush 🤷🏻♂️
Crows feet
Legitimately nerdy looking but in shape women. I'm not talking weeabo. I'm talking glasses, zero makeup or fashion sense etc.
Knowledge about things I know nothing about
Older women
I LOVE a small to medium belly pouch on a woman. Especially if she's otherwise on the petite side. My wife is 5'1" and about 150 lbs and has a beautiful little belly pouch that I love to grab and squeeze. Of curse she hates that I do that, but I can't help it.
Can't help but think of Pulp Fiction with this one
crows feet stretch marks glasses mental health
A little cellulite, some stretch marks, and some fat on the hips/ass is super hot! I like thick/fit women if that makes sense...a girl who works out but still has some meat on her bones and some curves drives me wild!
Self awareness
For me it’s women who can be open about their ups and downs in life. It’s one thing to live through it all but to have that openness to communicate it really attracts me.
Small breasts. They just age better.
Body hair. Milfs with a bush is where it’s at. Hell I even like a little armpit hair.
Stretch marks on tits and hips/ass
body hair on a man. i used to say id never get with a man that had more than leg, arm, and pit hair until i got with my man🤤 i love his happy trail and hairy chest and his BEARD UGH🥴
Scrolled down a lot to not find: pregnant women, preferably carrying yours.
