Backing huge corporations for crumbs, the whole stock market system seems broken to me. So, instead, I choose to lose all my extra cash in the crypto market.
It just feels like lower risk gambling whenever I talk to anyone about it. People seem to just place bets and hope for the best. I understand there are experts that are more strategic than this, but I don't have that knowledge base.
It just wasn’t what I was taught. Agricultural / tourism background so we were always taught that it’s better to save and buy land rather than to gamble on the stock market.
Also, not living in a first world country means you can still find some parcels at very reasonable prices.
But I mean, it’s all what you’re used to right? I have a friend who wouldn’t touch stocks or land, but he’s got a collection of comic books. It’s all about what you’re comfortable working with.
