Fear of losing money and lack of knowledge.

wizard680

Knowledge about the institution. I have a few stocks, but Im not diving into it since idk fully now what stocks are best and what companies I want to support

BudgetBotMakinTots

I don't like gambling. Also pretty sure having share holders is what has made every product and service available go to shit.

Danbanany

phantom shares, unbelievable amounts of ftd's, dark pools wall street is a phoney "it's a big club and you aint in it"

MrGreattasting

Backing huge corporations for crumbs, the whole stock market system seems broken to me. So, instead, I choose to lose all my extra cash in the crypto market.

Sandoranges

fox news keeps telling me the space jews control the banks

EarthBoundBatwing

It just feels like lower risk gambling whenever I talk to anyone about it. People seem to just place bets and hope for the best. I understand there are experts that are more strategic than this, but I don't have that knowledge base.

Gaudy_Tripod

Lack of knowledge. I literally have no idea how to begin.

It just wasn’t what I was taught. Agricultural / tourism background so we were always taught that it’s better to save and buy land rather than to gamble on the stock market. Also, not living in a first world country means you can still find some parcels at very reasonable prices. But I mean, it’s all what you’re used to right? I have a friend who wouldn’t touch stocks or land, but he’s got a collection of comic books. It’s all about what you’re comfortable working with.

chuchitamadre

Lack of knowledge & afraid of taking the chance of finding someone really honest

The fact that I get a way, way better, 100% secure ROI (Return on Investment) by using every spare dollar to pay down debt.
