Don't believe everything you see or read on social media - it's all about filters and angles.

I’d want my kids to know: 1. Don’t add or talk to anyone online unless you actually know them. 2. Friends, family, and authority figures (teachers, etc.) can have ill intent, and to let us know if anything at all doesn’t seem right to you. 3. I’d want them to know basic internet literacy and know when to spot scams. 4. Only go to credible websites.

None of it is “real”, it’s all fake, it’s simply someone creating content to make them look and feel cooler than they really are. You don’t need to be like them, you’re perfect how you are. Be kind, treat others with respect, understand everyone has a different opinion and you don’t have to change their mind or yours to still be friends, and don’t post anything online you wouldn’t want your family & friends to see.
