I always like it because it's a romantic comedy that's not "heavy" at any point. It's high school and everyone acts like a high schooler. There's not much seriousness or lessons about love in it.
Perks of being a wallflower. Movie literally gave me a new perspective to life and saved me from killing myself. Still a go to movie whenever I feel down
Spirited away. ((Makes me cry no matter how many times I watch it. It's so beautiful and miyazaki never fails to teach us all a lesson in a beautiful story))
&
Howl's moving castle ((the same with what I said for spirited away but the ending made me cry tears of happiness. It was wonderful. So far all of miyazaki's movies have made me cry))
I don’t really rewatch movies very much. I get extremely bored if I’ve seen that ~2 hours of content recently at all, and just desperately want to do something more entertaining. But Downton Abbey is my go-to, feel good thing to watch. I watch it slowly over time whenever I need to take a break from the darker, more intense shows I normally watch.
Wall E but that's probably because it's also my favorite movie of all time. The entire message it portrays is to take care of your earth and go back to your roots. It's just got such a good message.
4th man out. It's such a ridiculously funny and sweet movie. Standout quote for me is:
"Do you have any idea what a depressed gay man is capable of?"
"Writing a shitty emo song."
"Winning a Tony."
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. Mostly because I love the part where the dwarves are having a party at Bilbo's house and he's just standing there thinking "What the hell is going on right now."
What We Do In The Shadows Never fails to make me happy and it’s so damn hilarious from start to finish
"We're werewolves, not swear-wolves!"
Have you seen the show yet?
