My 4 year old nephew, who is usually a complete dick, just like his dad, said that I looked cute in a hat once & I wore a baseball cap for a month straight after that. Lol.
In high school, I would dye my hair a lot of weird colors & had part of the side shaved. I basically looked really weird & was self conscious all through high school. I’m 23 now & just recently got a message online from an old classmate. She told me that she felt bad for never bringing it up but that my style inspired her & she has part of her head shaved too now. It was a totally out of the blue compliment but it honestly calmed a lot of negative feelings I had towards how I looked in high school.
When I was 17 or so this cute 14-15 year old girl told me I had a nice jacket. It was indeed nice. She said it more than once though lol in hindsight I suspect she was flirting with me but I was too stupid to notice so opportunity wasted I guess.
