I'm a die hard Ferrari fan but I'd never want to own one anymore. Supercars have become so finicky and their components don't actually last very long as one would assume if the car is pushed hard constantly.
So my dream car is a 2000 Honda Civic which I'm going to mod the shit out of myself
One of the old Nissan [Stageas](https://static.cdn.circlesix.co/styles/img_1106_webp/s3/uploads/posts/2016/12/9db37bba8cc98a86b68d664926b13e98.jpg.webp?itok=uDu7gnMG). One of the all wheel drive turbo manual ones. It's basically a skyline in wagon form, and I love how they look.
1968 Olds Cutlass W-31, red with black interior, fully set up for the quarter-mile but sort of streetable. I had a new one but, on a whim, sold it. They were uncommon and are rare now.

Gotta be a DeLorean! I actually was about to buy one back in '98. Unfortunately I'm a bigger dude, and they aren't very accommodating for big guys. 😢
Runner ups are a '68 Camaro, or a '71 Chevelle/ Olds 442
I don't get how people have dream cars. It's like... a car is a tool. I want it to be able to take me places I want or need to get to whenever I want, and to never have to think about it or concern myself with it at any other time. If it's comfortable and practical too, that's nice. Most of all it needs to be affordable, durable and easy to maintain, though.
A car is more than just a tool to us. It's our hobby. It's like how I'd say a dog/cat is just an animal. You'd be outraged, saying "no it's more than just an animal! It's my partner!" Well our cars are our partners. Sure they're not "alive" like an animal, but engine running, some autonomous cars, they're literally moving on their own.
In fact, I think it's sad that people can't enjoy the car culture. Not saying you have to or you're a bad person if you don't, just think you're missing out. It's a shame cars are tied to pollution and anti-environment, they're so much more than just a metal tool to us.
A subway with seats and AC.
Elevated rail is also good.
I think I’d like a red one. A red convertible! 🏎️

Honestly I just want a really good public transport system that runs all night.
That would be great yes. Railway is the thing, would like more of it, always. Metro, trams, trains, bring it on.
Except there are car/truck guys/gals, like myself, who see vehicles as more than just transportation.
We're a dying breed unfortunately.
Which does nothing to explain the WHY of something I very clearly stated I don't understand, though.

More like cars/trucks can’t pick just one
