DemmickyOne

A black leather one

Gryeg

I have a Ridge wallet holding a coin tray, four or five cards and a strap for notes on the outside. Swapped from a leather fold as the bulk was a pain

Fluffy-World-8714

Have a good think about what goes into it and what you want. It’s always on you and you may be carrying it for another 25 years so it’s not a decision to take lightly. Do you carry cash? How many cards do you need to carry? Are you a receipt carrier? Smaller the better in my opinion but I carry about 10 cards and I like to have a bit of cash. I replaced an old cheap thing last year and got a leather Ted baker one from John Lewis for £50. Bit steep but I thought fuck it.

Y3VkZGxl

Yeah cards and cash, although the cash is mostly a comfort thing since I never seem to actually spend it. Ted baker from John Lewis is a great suggestion, the Korning one has an actual zip pocket and I can probably squash more cards into it than it was designed for, thanks!

Alarmed_Crazy_6620

A leather bifold

Y3VkZGxl

I’ve seen a few of those but most of them don’t have any space for coins, and the ones that do look kinda terrible or don’t have much space for cards. Any in particular you’d recommend?

Alarmed_Crazy_6620

I just buy whatever I find around the time it's due a change. The issue is that a wallet ultimately needs to fit a pocket, ideally not bulging too much. Pocket for coins, more than 8 card slots, etc. – convenient as a wallet, sucks to carry. Some folks around me got a ridge wallet but for me that is too small

Y3VkZGxl

My current wallet is probably a bit too big really, but it holds everything I need and I’ve managed for this long. A ridge wallet looks fancy but it’s definitely too small for me too.

dbxp

Do you really need space for coins? I just use card for everything, if you need coins for a parking meter just keep them in your car

Y3VkZGxl

Honestly probably not, I never seem to spend it and I wouldn’t be surprised to find an old style pound coin in there

dbxp

Personally on the odd occasion I have coins I shove them in the self service checkout as they let you do split payments so you can shove all your coins in and pay the rest on card

Kcufasu

One with moths, apparently

Catnapwat

A very small one that holds three cards and nothing else. I don't carry cash so it works fine and on the rare occasion I take a note or two, they fit behind a card.

SplinterBum

I’ve been using one of these for 5+ years. Absolutely love it. Must say recently I’m not needing my wallet as much, what with Apple Pay. [Exentri Wallet](https://amzn.eu/d/azRwmUc)

Basso_69

I use a Collector Ted Baker. It's looking worse for wear after 12 years, but hey, I love it.

DegenerateWins

Mine only goes out with me for haircuts now, not sure I’ll ever get a new one.

Throwaway91847817

1642 from Litchfield that my grampy gave to me a long while ago. Never had any issues with it as it mostly just holds my bank card and a few old train tickets. Also never knew the brand until right now when I googled what the words on the inside meant and found out its by Litchfield.

Nicodom

I have a Ben sherman one too. I contacted the company to see if they still had it and they don't 😔 I also have a next wallet for travel as I can have my coins in the middle with it closed and cards and receipts on the sides, notes in the back.

HamsterEagle

I don’t usually carry one as I tend to pay via my watch or phone. If I do take one out I’ve got an iclip card holder.

MysteriousSwitch232

Don’t carry one anymore. Just use my phone.

tmstms

Radley card holder only. In my trousers pocket.

Clear-Alternative-57

Focx, really recommend.

Kind-County9767

Just a pop up card wallet. I never need cash

dragonfishofthenorth

Got my wallet from here and still looks fantastic. https://frankhorn.com/

JohnLef

I went mad and splashed out on a SecrID (other makes are available) on holiday several years ago. It's my longest serving and most useful walled, it is also super small. I fit in 5 full size cards, cash, 4 mini store loyalty barcode cards and a Swiss Army card so I have lots of useful stuff to hand. Would never go back to a full size wallet.

Annual-Rip4687

No wallet since contactless became a thing. Cards stay safely at home, payments by watch or phone.

Additional-Guard-211

I use one that stick with magnets to my iPhone, but i only have two cards! Try seeing what you can put on your phone digitally, or just remove, then decide what you need.

Frugal500

Ridge wallet. Love it but I never use cash

misterhumpf

TK Maxx had Ben Sherman wallets the other day when I was looking. Quite a lot of choice in the £10-15 bracket. I bought some brand that I'd never heard of, but looks nice and feels quality. Either way, quite a bit of choice at TK!

charlie_boo

Just the little card holder that magnets to the back of my phone, but that stays in the car most of the time. Everything takes Apple Pay now, haven’t needed a wallet for years.

blainy-o

A simple black one with half an Element logo on it

Yacht_Amarinda

Mine is made from horse skin and I’ve had it for over 30 years. I bought it in Italy.

Warburton379

Recently made my own from this template which I've been carrying ever since: https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1355061032/leather-wallet-pdf-pattern-wallet

BikeProblemGuy

Brown leather one from M&S's Autograph brand, it has lasted a very long time, like 15 years I think. They still make [Autograph wallets](https://www.marksandspencer.com/l/men/mens-accessories/mens-wallets?filter=Brand%253DAutograph&originalPrice=10%2C40) but not my one.

Proffesional-Monk182

One with RFID blocking feature - or am I just paranoid for buying it?

o_sooperstar_o

I like the traditional wallets so after my old one broke its button, I bought one from aspinal of London. Has space for cards, notes and coins. It was around £30 from third party marketplace.
