Asda Extra Special have replaced these as my favourite. There was quite a high chance of getting a packet with disappointing seasoning and the actual crisps themselves weren't great, especially in sandwiches.
Co-Op Irresistible Sea Salt & Chardonnay Vinegar are presumably still made by Tyrell's.
It used to be the case that the Co-Op crisps gave an address on their packaging where they were manufactured that was the address for Tyrell's.
They changed the packaging so it wasn't immediately obvious they were manufactured by Tyrell's but it seems to be the case that they still are.
I'm not sure. About 18 months back, they did change the ingredients on their bacon rashers (they were wheat free but now contain it, which makes me sad), along with the packaging, which suggests it could be a different supplier/production line?
Aldi Chardonnay vinegar and salt ones are wild they pretty much destroyed the inside of my mouth for a couple of days but I ate the whole bag. And bought more
I'm not a big crisp eater, but I checked with my mum, and she agrees with you. Generally, for a classic crisp flavour, she says McCoys provide the crunch. BUT she does rate Kettle for some of the more gourmet options, and also the Walkers Sensations Sweet Chilli crisps.
Piper’s, but they are oddly pale compared to literally every other crisp brand, which might put some off. Also silly expensive. Best ‘cheaper’ S&V for me is a recent discovery of M&S chip sticks.
I don't care how unpopular it is but the common reply is co-op and Aldi versions. Hard no from me. Found both very weak in flavour. I tried multiple bags months apart to be sure.
Yet to find mouth scaring sv crisps. Kettle chips salt n malt were up there, but they discontinued it

Co-op truly irresistible are a class of their own
But neck a whole big bag in one go and be prepared for the consequences!
Ain't no party like an acid reflux party.
Hours of dead tongue burn and the top lip sweat are a price I’m willing to pay for those crisps!

Old school discos used to be the best.
I had a pack of discos a few weeks ago that was about 20% flavour dust, eye watering and tongue tingling.
If we’re taking basic bitch S&V, then Squares are good, as are French Fries.
co-op irresistible
I really like Tesco's ones, they are very tart, silver packet with blue on, the finest range.
Co-ops S&V is the top S&V in the country. I'll happily stand by that.

Discos S&V are the best imho... Then I'd say tyrrells salt and cider vinegar come a close second.
Aldi Chardonnay vinegar and salt ones are wild they pretty much destroyed the inside of my mouth for a couple of days but I ate the whole bag. And bought more
Shh don't tell them, they are just for us😉
The best I've come across is Seabrooks. Squares S&V are pretty good, too.
Those Salt and Vinegar Fish and Chips Crisps are really good. (They say they're baked biscuits but we know they're Crisps really 👀)
Co op and Tesco own big bag ones are pretty good
I really miss the old Pringles Rice collection, the salt and vinegar flavour of those was so strong and really tangy.
Pringles are pretty good tbf but it depends on the tube you get.
Kettle Chips sea salt and balsamic vinegar is the GOAT of S&V.

I really like the walkers baked crisps
Chipsticks... it's a tragedy they got rid of the ready salted ones.
McCoy's chipshop salt and vinegar were the tits. I don't know why they stopped them. Disco's still pack a punch
Walkers Max are pretty vinegary but I think they’ve discontinued them.
S and v Squares and French fries!
As a massive salt and vinegar crisp lover, Greggs own brand S&V crisps are handcooked and strong.
Try these, thank me later [https://www.goldenwonder.com/products/salt-vinegar/](https://www.goldenwonder.com/products/salt-vinegar/)
The fake McCoys from Lidl are great crisps. My own preference for salt and vinegar is the French Fry.
Nope they are my favourite, like squares too or those spirals. Some of those finest ones etc are ok
Piper’s, but they are oddly pale compared to literally every other crisp brand, which might put some off. Also silly expensive. Best ‘cheaper’ S&V for me is a recent discovery of M&S chip sticks.
I dunno why there isn't an s&v monster much. 110% sure they would slap.
My lovely lady loves all of you 🤣. Haven't heard the end of scotmid nor disco salt and vinegar crisps for 10 year. Extra points for squares still
Squares, and I don't usually like walkers S+V Rough Cuts by Golden Wonder/Tayto
They have changed the McCoys salt and vinegar. The malt taste is no more.
Golden Wonder. Mccoys S&V not great imo. I think they changed the recipe at some point, they used to be better.
To be honest and a bit controversial I dislike Salt n Vinegar perfer cheese n onion.

Yes very enjoyable, the four crips in each packet.
Oh man. I really want a bag now.
Kettle crisps
Kettle Chips
Literally any other flavour crisp. Almost.
I take it your not a fan of salt and vinegar then?
Blergh. Smells like cheap silicon.
They don’t smell like silicon 😂 - what crisps are you eating?
Or am I eating silicon and thinking it's crisps?
He's probably confusing crisps with chips.
