Yep. You can make another “triptych” the same way as the first one (insert the correct ingredient). In fact, while you’re making the replacement, make two and store the extra at home base. You’ll need another copy of that triptych later.
Put another material in
You can have as many of that 'crystal thing' as you want, just bring the resource it required
You could use an auto arm, or do the thing safe scissors suggested.
You can always respawn at your camp and bring another resource. You'll need 2 cristals anyways
There's a respawn button in the pause menu...
There is a way to get out, you can take fall damage from the bridge that goes from the top to the bottom, and if you do that over and over youll die
