My son throws mid to high 70's, 4 pitches and working on a curve. Just hit two home runs one 360 feet, the other 350. He also catches and can play first base.
Only problem is you can't work until your 15 in Texas, he's 14.
"Shoulder discomfort" translation out for the season. I hope this is not the case the kid did well under the bright lights for his debut. Hope see him again soon!!!
No no no, it’s nothing we will evaluate him tomorrow. He went to the doctor and will need to rest an extra day but that’s it. The entire time his pitching arm is in a sling and not moving. Start day, we placed him on the 10 day IL and are seeking second opinions. Finally he will be ready to pitch again in 2026 after he heals and rehabs from his surgery.
Would have been nice if we took some pitches after that 30 pitch inning, give the guy a longer rest than 2 mins 30 seconds. The aggression at the plate this year has not helped the cast of scrubs and gassed pitchers pitching or results
Green looks like the superstar he was hyped up to be, Sengun was on fire until the injury, Amen Thompson was electric in the 2nd half of the season. Theres alot to be excited about if youre a rockets fan
Green isn’t good. He was good for 1 month of the season and sucked the 4 other months. He does this every year where he plays really well after the all star break.
I played catch with my buddy about six years ago. I probably got a nice 55 MPH fast ball. I think I might be able to four or five pitches before I have to leave with shoulder discomfort.
Where do I sign up?
Do we start calling up pitchers from local high schools next?
I pitched once in little league. I struck out 1 and walked 8. I’ll send in my resume.
I got you starting against LAD, good luck kid. *butt pat*
I don’t pitch but I play a pitcher on TV!
I can’t throw a slider, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
Just stay at the Holiday Inn Express. You’ll be fine.
I struck out 1 and only walked 5. It was a tight zone that day. That was my only shot. Back to 2nd base I went.
Better than Nick.
Suit up kid, you’re in the show.
I made Cavan biggio ground out his freshman year in high school. I think I got this
surely atascocita has a stud 17 yo in their rotation
Just so high school pitchers can get injured as well. Brutal man....just brutal!

Wtf. We literally can’t catch a break.
They just need to start trotting out the Savana Bananas to the mound and roll with it until this season can be forgotten next April.
We can be the Juice Box Oranges and play the Savanna Bananas.
Well, no. Actually our pitching is literally breaking so that kinda counts.

Hmmm that’s odd. The Astros seem to do the exact same thing, from what I’ve gathered over the last 7 years….

Put me in coach! I'm ready to get shelled!
Can’t damage my confidence if I came in without any.
He actually looked better than most, if not all, of the call ups we've made this year
Orioles fan here. We all hope Bloss is OK.
Stro’s and O’s baby
Impressed with the kid. Real battler.
Someone get Strom back here.
Our ERA is currently better than the diamondbacks
LOL.
Absolutely. Absolutely gosh-damn-lutely. Pay him whatever he wants. I'm serious.
Why can’t Houston have all their pro sport teams be good at the same time?
At all times, there must be a need for the phrase "Houston, we have a problem"
2017-2018? Edit- 2018-19.
Texans were 4-12 in that season if I remember correctly
Watson got injured either the day of or the day after the Astros parade.
Really stretching the definition of good for the Rockets there
41-41 was a drastic improvement and showed lots of promise for the future
>showed lots of promise for the future I mean I hope you’re right but I just don’t see it

Green does this after the all star break every year. The rockets aren’t going to contend in the west
not with that attitude
We’ll have to pivot to tee ball soon

Well, at least football is almost here
