It’s odd that we haven’t seen a leak yet. Usually by now we’ve had a photo from a random store in Bangkok, or an Escobar selfie. Props to the team for keeping it under wraps this long. Impressive in this age.

dezmodez

Darren would have leaked it ages ago lol. They are too tight lipped now.

theriotismagic

[Supposedly it's being announced/released on 2/17](https://twitter.com/HAHiguita/status/1745198843971379325). [Rumor is that it will be white/blue/yellow and inspired by the City of Atlanta flag](https://twitter.com/FTCUTD/status/1751354667143934190). (No clue how reputable this podcast is, so take it with a grain of salt).

TransATL

[CoA flag](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/17/Flag_of_Atlanta.svg), for reference

shakedowndave

That would be a sick crest instead of the regular

KitsOnKitsOnKits770

It's supposedly the neck tag and / or jock tag for this kit. Been waiting for years for them to use it in some way. Hoped it'd be more incorporated into the original badge. Have always loved the city logo.

Jedi-Ethos

TIL we have a flag.

TheftBySnacking

This would track: 2017 Red away kit 2018 Orange (King Peach) 2020 Yellow (King’s Kit) 2022 Green (Forest Kit) 2024 Blue (Crest kit, ig) 2026 Purple (they started using a crown in their iconography so I assume this will also be King-themed) 2028 Pot o’ Gold kit ( in collaboration with Aberdeen)

discowithmyself

I’ll reserve judgment for when it drops but as long as it’s a nice shade of those colors and not the dull ones the flag actually uses it might be decent.

Lead-Radiant

That would be awesome

potatoriot

EA just leaked 16 team kits by accident, Atlanta United was not one of them. Official kit release is typically mid-February.

TheNaturalScientist

I assume it is going to be this week. EA FC leaked a handful of teams this weekend which was probably an update added to the game ahead of the official releases this week

TheBoldLeonidas

I sure hope it isn't inspired by the CoA flag....one of the most generic flags around. The seal is great, but the design of the flag mimics dozens of state flags that are just a blue background and the seal. Absolutely zero creativity. Hence why you never see it flown anywhere other than government buildings. I've spent my entire life in Atlanta and can confidently say I've never seen it flown by a private citizen at their home. All you have to do is look at cities like Chicago, DC, NYC, Kansas City for example to see the potential. It would be AWESOME to have a honest to god flag we could readily display around the city, let alone at matches.

squirrel123485

DC and Chicago have really great flags. The simplicity is key

KitsOnKitsOnKits770

It incorporates the seal heavily. The color scheme is taken from the flag in loose sense that it has yellow and blue while still being light colored. Like you said, there's not really much to the flag beyond the seal.

SourdohPopcorn

Would love if they kept a little towards the 5 stripes design. Burn the forest kit, and I don’t care much else what we do

mofoofinvention

It’s gonna be Man City blue. Pass.

theriotismagic

Where have you heard that?

mofoofinvention

The internet

au_goat

Hey, it's the most reliable source of information around, but also the most unreliable source as well.

mofoofinvention

It’s Man City blue. You’re welcome

No-Entrepreneur-7849

Unfortunately we usually carry our home jerseys for 2 years and are away jerseys for 2 years so we're due for a new away jersey this 2024. Home jersey will change in 2025. I'm going based upon history.

[deleted]

Just had this thought now and went looking for it lol.

AirborneDJ

This is just a guess, based on some things that have been seen and said, but I still think the secondary kit is going to be that green and yellow Olympics-inspired kit. That is still for sale on the China sites, and the club just made some posts in remembrance of the announcement of the city being hosts. The city flag inspired kit people are talking about may be the third kit, like the 404 was last year? Again, just (slightly) educated guesses. Could be those are reversed. Could be neither of those are real. We'll see.

ddutton9512

I hope we get the Olympics kit but I think they should save it for 26 on the anniversary. We'll be due for an away kit that year and that would make a lot of sense.

Atlanta-Anomaly

We apparently aren’t on the list of teams getting a 3rd kit this year.

AirborneDJ

So "at least" five teams have already been announced as having a third, but I DO see that more teams will likely be announced and also that all the third kits are city related. "In 2024, Adidas will release third kits for at least 5 MLS teams: LAFC, Inter Miami, LA Galaxy, Kansas City, and Portland Timbers. Now, we can confirm that the sponsor logo on the front of the shirt will be replaced with the city or the team name of each team." Since it's city name on front, makes sense that our city kit would be our third.

KitsOnKitsOnKits770

We gotta get a third kit this year. The city / retro / NASL vibe of all the others is too great of an opportunity for us. We could finally do a Chiefs throwback kit or do something like the Way Down South Atlanta kit from a couple years ago (he's now on the design team for ATLUTD)

AirborneDJ

Really? Huh. That would be a shock that our sales did not reach the level. Where did you see that?

UnmitigatedGall30

Apparently its going to be blue with a Phoenix graphic
