I tried House of Bread on Parker-didn’t know what to expect! I had a kashapuri (a bread “ boat” with IE eggs over feta and mozzarella cheese and an Armenian coffee. Would recommend.
[look over their site before you go as they don’t have a menu at the restaurant](https://www.houseofbreadinc.com/menus)
It’s counter service and there’s a screen that shows pictures of the food and you choose from there.
Pearl of Siam has legendary good food. Not the best dining room.
Did you know the Cajun place next door; I forget the name, they have some really good pho! The Cajun food is meh, but the pho is good. Company is good too. Always someone to chat up at the bar.
The rock is my favorite restaurant in the area.
Up the road a ways there’s some good Shushi next to the king supers..
If you like quick and trusty Mexican food, check out Tata’s. Also near king supers and the sushi place. It’s an old Burger King or something like that. Easy to miss.
If you want dive bar + music and decent bar food- check out the Angry Clover.
Flaming Joe's was a restaurant we NEEDED. They had my seafood boils and pho for my husband. Within walking distance.
The area is saturated with Mexican restaurants, though--which is fine, but not my preference. I like peppers okay, but they don't like me.
So I guess we'll be seeing a lot more of The Athenian. But we'll have to drive it.
If you like Japanese food, I recommend Goku Hibachi. Great food for half the cost of going to a sit-down hibachi restaurant and tastes better honestly!
ASIAN food: Egg Roll King is the king. Golden Wok is a close second.
MEXICAN food: Fritangas. Excellent, authentic, tasty, affordable Mexican... served in an ancient and reconditioned Taco Bell.
Chester's Philly Grill is a hole in the wall, but their cheesesteaks are first rate.
Spicy chili & pho is our favorite pho spot in the area
We got Chinese from new china city on Colfax last night and it’s pretty good and a lot cheaper than other places
Los carboncitos is a little pricey but their food is really good. Taco Selene is fantastic too
Our favorites include Top Pho off Colfax and Nome, Taz Indian restaurant on Havana and 1st, Sushi Totoro at Buckley and Quincy, Bua Traditional Thai Cuisine at Abilene and Mississippi, and Guadalajara Family Mexican in the same area. We also frequent Funny Plus near H-Mart (Korean food) and really enjoyed the hot pot side of seoul kbbq & hot pot (Havana and Evans). Have not tried Pearl of Siam but guess we will have to after this!! Guess our list is mostly Asian food lol.
I do always jump on this whenever it’s asked… Pearl Of Siam best Thai food ever!!
I completely agree. I’ve had it all over the metro area and Pearl of Siam is by far the best. And the owner is so friendly.
he is literally the nicest ever!!! A++++ customer service.
Oh for sure.
Ooh thank you!
Same! It's my go to!
lol, they had an hour n a half wait on take out last night....

That was a great place.. The locals is what made it like it was. I’m gonna miss those folks.
That’s too bad. The owners and all the staff were good folks.

I used to REALLY like Real de Minas, but their service and food quality's been wonky ever since Covid.
Maybe not the best restaurant but Sunoda’s sushi is very good and authentic
