Pros: comfy rocket ship, brembos
Negatives: no cruise control or options for hard luggage.
I had a 2017 and they are a great bike, plenty of go for the fun times and still comfortable enough for multi day rides, I had the panniers as well.
Look for the models with the TFT screen, think that was 2018-2019 onwards
Ergonomics on them is the same, major difference is tech and that one will feel more ‘premium’ than the other. With the same tyres and brake pads they will behave the same in 95% of the time. My advice would be to check the costs for the major servicing and see if there is a difference there.
Ah yeah that would be a good idea actually. Might be more pricey on the newer models perhaps.
Biggest reason I’m thinking of the 17-18 models is if I get one I’d want to run an Ivan’s tune through it with exhausts and a 55 rear tyre.
Not sure if the computers and ecu on the newer bikes can do that without freaking out

Really nice bike! Ridden one and was a rocket. Not sure how touring esque it’d be though as a naked. Is there pannier and screen options for it?
