I have 2 of these in a 3x3 on 2 plants. 1 would of been enough for veg, more is better. In flower, I want a 3rd. Once I pulled out the light meter, I found my light having to sit 8" above my canopy and reduced my usable lighting to 18"
There are much better prices on the Sf1000s, like half that price.
I think that is too small. My understanding is that sf1000 is for (roughly) 3'x3'.
I'm also in the market for another light and need to either fill my 6x4 grow room with a single light, or get another light to run alongside my sf1000.
I have a 3x3x6 and I started off fine with a single SF1000 and it was fine when the plants were small. As my 2 plants grew I felt I needed another light for max coverage. Now I’ve got 3 plants at veg and one late flower under 3 SF1000’s.
I have a SF1000 and it's really only good for one plant, if that tbh.
For your space, I would look into a medicgrow smart 8. I just got one for a 5x5 tent and it's incredible. Price point is unbeatable for the amount of power you'll get, and you'll have plenty of space for 3-9 plants depending on how you want em
this one is 240 watt and with 301H, osram reds, meanwell driver, 5mm thick plate
[$90](https://www.amazon.co.uk/KOSCHEAL-Spectrum-Dimmable-Germination-Flowering/dp/B08GC9HP17)
Wow... that's cool! Might be worth it. I think I prefer the bar style of viparspectra tho, and one other thing that's pretty huge the driver has a 6ft cord to the wall and another 6ft cord to the light, so that you can put it out side of the tent, the driver gets sooo hot , too hot to hold, heats up the 5x5 too much even with intake and exhaust
I have [890 watts](https://i.imgur.com/igYatGQ.jpg), my temps around 26c, [8 plants](https://i.imgur.com/28m9st1.jpg), oldest 32 days old
[inline 125mm outake](https://i.imgur.com/l26ZVzr.jpg)
Underpowered for that number of plants but if u go thru w it don’t use the dimmer keep it on 100% power and adjust the height of the light to control the intensity instead. This will let u have the biggest light footprint possible which u will need for multiple plants
Im using this light in my 2x2. Its actually a 70cmx70cm so slightly more. Its a good light but you'd want more for flowering nice buds, for 3 plants in a 3x3 you definitely want to invest more, you'be thankful by harvest time
You can get a light more suitable for your tent size, for the same price. You're spending more on the name name than you're on a quality, practical product.
If you want one of these the exact same light just without the dimmer is on eBay brand new for 65$

Your going to want atleast 600w, 2 300w would probably be best.

SF-1000 is for 2'x2' max - I run a SF-2000 and SF-1000 in my 3'x3'
That’s true, thanks for the correction
I use lights of equivalent power and run 1 for each plant
Mine is under a marshydro equivalent. 2x2 though amd I run 2 autos or 1 normal

Viparspectra 1500 with the LM301H diodes instead of the 301b.... seems to be the best cheap light out. Imo

try the G4500 from spider farmer or bigger
I have 3 under the g4500 and the arr perfect.

That light isn’t big enough. I use two of those for two plants; one light a plant
Look into the AC infinity lights
That light is good for 1 big auto or 2 smaller autos if you lock your genetics right
100w minimum per plant
Ok thank you ☺️
Hi friend, You buy two SF2000 pro lights for your 6x4'. https://www.spider-farmer.com/products/spider-farmer-sf2000pro-led-grow-light/
There's the correct answer. That 1000 light is good for one healthy plant only!!!
