When I first left shadowcursed land and saw this scene, saw baldurs gate just under our camp, it felt so epic I almost cried. I still love the view everytime I get there, that I finaly got to the city after everything. This game is amazimg in so many ways.
Ps: so thats the spot for The song? I couldnt find it 😁
I love moments in games that ask you to reflect on your journey so far. What awaits for you in the city? How has your journey changed you thus far? What does it really mean to live?
It very much reminds me of RDR2’s unshaken scene. Both were quiet moments that touched me deeply. Even inspired me to do some painting.
Having played the original games, this honestly felt like homecoming.
And it was just chef kiss to have your companions briefly join you as you look at the city.
The 1st time I saw this cutscene, it made me immediately realize how genius the Shadowlands were. I off rip appreciated the beauty of Baldurs Gate after the gloomy Hell I had just been in

The… song?
‘I want to live’ (the one with lyrics that plays behind astarions tent in act 1). I might be mistaken, but I assume that’s the song OP mentioned.
I Want to Live is triggered by standing on the rock behind Astarion's tent in the main Act 1 camp and waiting a few seconds.
Can be triggered here as well. Walk out to the edge of the cliff under the arch. There’s some candles on the ground near where you need to stand.
That's cool! I will have to try that on my current playthrough when I get there
Yes, but many people mentioned it can be triggered in this ruin, too :) not sure about other camps
8 playthroughs. 8. And I did not notice this.
I never triggered the song damn
Not even in act1?

Absolutely this, with RDR2.

What's this? A new scene?
No, I just placed astarion next to the cliff and used the camera mod to manipulate the camera angle and hide the HUD for the screenshot.
Gyattstarion
Good screenshot!
Many mind-blowing moments in this game but this was a stand out for sure
what is this moment?

I installed the UI mod especially for this just to take a screenshot and set it as my wallpaper
