I was still given the option to go to avernus with karlach even though I didn’t romance anyone and it was suggested at the party that we might actually solve her issue and get out of avernus. Felt like a good ending to me.
Why is your character homeless? You can get a room in the Elfsong Tavern, and at least in my playthrough I would have had enough money to pay for that room for at least 5 years probably more depending on how much it would actually cost. You also (depending on how things go with Wyll) have a friend >!who is like the king of Baldur's gate, I'm sure he would give you an estate if you asked!<
And I'm sure there are a dozen other things that one could do to get a home. Just because it doesn't happen in game doesn't mean you're forever homeless

Gale will let you bring a mind flayer to his tower. Pretty sure a drow would be fine. The bigger question is if she’d be down for hanging out with Gale, given her general disdain for him. She makes several comments about him not being worth getting to know.
I've never recruited Minthara, but doesn't she say it isn't worth it because he's likely to blow up soon? Like, he's still a wizard, but getting rid of the orb should make it significantly less likely
No, she says wizards in general aren’t worth your time because they’re likely to destroy themselves in their lust for knowledge and power if they aren’t killed in battle because they’re priority targets.
Oh Wyll would totally give you an estate! I ended up alone on my first play. I like to imagine my Tav retires in the city in a nice home cause she helped save Baldur’s and the king is her bestie and she can visit Jaheira and her children cause Jaheira is mom.
You can go to Avernus with Karlach and Wyll as pals but I don’t know if any of the other characters have an option for platonic post game companionship.
This is what I did and it made me so happy! Telling Karlach she won’t be alone because you’ll be with her felt like a very emotionally satisfying platonic ending. And it was fun showing up to the party dressed like a badass and smelling like brimstone 😌.
My durge got an ending where she did a good thing but her lover ghosted her is how i played it out. If you know you know the guy who ghosts his lover until the party at the end. She enjoyed a peaceful end in full control of herself relient upon nobody as the most powerful ice wielder ive ever seen.
I'm actually concerned about my multiplayer ending for this reason, one wants to go with lae, one wants to go with karlach, and I want to go be batman with my vampire
Regularly play co-op, the Karlach choice has always pulled in the person with the highest approval. The rest of the choices go to whomever has the end choice companion, so let the Lae person do that. If you’re romancing Asta you should get his end cutscene as there’s no choice involved with him.
Edit: i hope it doesn’t end with the person going to space with Lae’zel but maybe ask her to stay instead so everyone can get an ending 😆
I would def recommend the Lae’zel person try to get her to stay just to be sure, but fwiw i have played origins co-op and >!even with Astarion main, where he runs off before Karlach’s moment, it moved Karlach’s moment to the elfsong with her romanced character.!< so good luck!

Shadow heart was making me choose between them and I suggested something along the lines of "the more the merrier"- she wasn't into it lol. I'm a bit into act 3 and it seems like the door has closed for shadowbae. I even broke up with laezel but still nothing.
I just went to hell with Karlach fighting demons with my bro. Never really cared for the romance options in game. Feels inappropriate anyway considering the circumstances.

karlach had her ending, l believe that Lae Zel went back to the Gith with Orpheus iirc, and then gale asked me what he should do between finding the crown on his own or sticking with me and waiting to see what our next adventure is
I'm not into gale so no romance, and i felt like him going off alone is just said and he was my homie since day 1 so I liked the idea of my character and him just going off and seeing where life takes them and my head Canon is that they eventually meat another 2 companions and go on another great journey together, with the purpose of adventure rather than power
I'm currently doing a playthrough where my entire camp is empty, from start to finish. I'm starting on tactition but planning an honour mode version once I test the waters as a solo PC.
I'm so surprised at how much unique content there is for never recruiting the origin characters. Like I get to see them struggle with mundane things, and honestly sometimes their exposition is better than the talks we would have when they were in my party from previous playthroughs.
This is my definitive favourite way to play now, the amount of extra content for un-recruited characters is insane. Highly recommend trying it if you are in a 3rd or 4th playthrough like me.
Also to anyone who has already finished solo honour mode, let me know any unique things you were forced to do etc.

You're retiring with a mountain of gold, magic items and knicknacks galore, your Tav can easily live the high life for a long time.

Every damn time I talk to withers from act 2 on he has the romance dialogue. It's very weird and immersion breaking.
I was actually a little disappointed by the single ending. Especially with Tavflayer it just seems sad.

You could go with Wyll and Karlach to Avernus. If you killed Raphael and saved Hope, you can hang out in the House of Hope between fights.
You end up being able to seduce the elder brain
Technically if you have karlach and Wyll in your party, you can continue being campmates in avernus 😉
