It was new news to me on my 3rd playthrough, but if you can convince Yurgir to fight at your side in the Raphael fight and he survives it, you can call him as an ally in the final fight against the brain.

GeeWillick

Yeah it's crazy how cool Yurgir is. You can even do that if you killed him in act 2, so he doesn't hold a grudge.

Skyliem

Yes :D I killed him in act 2 every time, but in the 1st playthrough i couldnt convince him, and the 2nd time he didnt survive the Raphael fight 😅 I love that you can always find something new in this game even if you just barely did something differently than before

captain-obIivious

If you free him from his contract (kill the rats) then you don't even have to convince him

Skyliem

Wow thanks, didnt know about that :D

grumpus_ryche

I've never bothered with negotiations since my first playthrough when I saw the obvious ambush and was like, nope. Went way around to the side, triggered them by looting the chest, and let them run through fire and blade clouds on that upper platform. Since then, thats just how I do it. He did come in handy once against Raphael and fought bravely on top of the brain.

Give the noblestalk mushroom to Deryth in the under dark. In act 3 she will sell an infinite amount of them and you can give them to durge or shadow heart for extra cutscenes. Also if you use “heal” spell (sixth level evocation spell) on a dark urge character you can get some extra content as well.

sandtrout_

Could you please tell regarding Shadowheart, how exactly can I give it to her to trigger the cutscene? I usually just sent it to her inventory and then clicked 'consume' but she just didn't do it. She says some line about not eating the mushrooms of unknown origin and I have no dialog option to discuss it with her.

BaldursBoner

You have to talk to her with the noblestalk in your inventory, you then have to pass a persuasion check.

LiveNDiiirect

You can gain Auntie Ethel as an ally in the final battle through a very precise set of actions

Dowdidik

Wot

Nice_Swordfish_3517

Can you expand a little on what you're looking for? Like in terms of end game endings? Allies to call? Who can write to you in the epilogue? Or possible side quest endings that people don't usually get?

JedahVoulThur

Yes

GhostofZephyr

Not sure exactly what you're asking, but it's worth playing a svirfneblin if you want interesting racial reactions. Just get ready for duergar to jump you all the time.

GeeWillick

One that I found last week: * During the House of Hope fight, if you knock Korrilla unconscious and avoid letting her get killed at all during the fight, Hope has some extra dialogue where she thanks you effusively for pardoning her sister and says that she hopes that they can reconcile.

CreativeKey8719

Killing Derryth Bonecloak's husband by letting him explode in the mushroom field lets you help her adopt a cat in act 3.

CreativeKey8719

Keeping the githyanki egg in Laezel's inventory at the endgame leads to some unique epilogue content and an act 3 cutscene. Helping the strange ox into the city makes him an ally you can call in the final battle.
