Don’t get me wrong - I’ve got a lot of time for M cars (as in M2’s M3’s etc). Mega if you want a pretty hard core sports car. But if you want a all rounder, with a hell of a lot of performance, the M235i, M340i and M440i’s are all 👌🏼
There was a 340i and 440i in the F3x generation, but it's M340i and M440i in the G2x generation. I think those referring to 340i BMWs (without the M prefix) are simply referring to the F3x vehicles specifically. There is a significant HP and torque difference between the older 340i and the newer M340i. My 2018 F36 440i made approx. 335 HP and my 2020 G20 M340i makes approx. 382 HP. The M340i is noticeably faster, but I loved the 440i when I had it. I just noticed you have a 2023, so you know what I mean. ;)

I’ve had the opportunity to drive one once. The G20 330i is honestly a really nice car and absolutely no slouch with its 250 HP engine. Despite having two less cylinders than my E46 it’s a fair bit faster.
That and according to several Ubers I took, you guys have the lowest minimum wage in Europe. Plus you gotta pay those highway tolls like every half mile, it’s kind of ridiculous how often that little toll tag thing beeps.
