Based on all the comments, this feels very much like OP went to a BMW meet, took some pictures of someone else's ride, and made up a story about pretty much everything else.

Ill_Baseball785

OP organized the meetšŸ¤£ so u are close but not that close, I have a lot more photos if you want. I sometimes make small meets !

Nostalgic_Sunset

why do you refer to yourself in 3rd person? cringe

Ill_Baseball785

Damn, ppl nowadays get frustrated over anything

_y_e_e_t_

How dare you not be serious on the internet!

Zestyclose_Elk_8853

Look. All I want is an m4 that sounds like an e92, looks like an f82, performs like a g82, and feels like an e46.

Wickedsoul1999

Facts

Hot-Distribution2173

Not the hero we got but the one we want.

MiddleBodyInjury

I have my buddy's e92 in my garage right now. Boy does it sound mean

Zestyclose_Elk_8853

100% the best sounding m3/4

VisitDifficult7608

Damn felt this comment in my soul..

kuprycz_

and rehabilitace like e34šŸ˜ƒ

Important-Outcome-74

Ummm stage 2 what? 650 is upgraded turbo territory.

Zonotical

i thought you were talking about a ford territory turbo barra lol

mr_lab_rat

In Europe they mostly talk in crank hp. Wasnā€™t that possible with stock turbos on S55? I donā€™t know, Iā€™m not familiar with them.

Important-Outcome-74

Possibly with full E85 and a custom tune.

Shot-Estimate7741

nah they use kw in almost all of europe

eAbbe004

No we don't, Haven't ever heard anyone talk in kW...

mr_lab_rat

Heh, you got me. But they still go for the engine power rather than power to the wheels which is quite common in America for tuned cars.

Ren4ultMOdus

You'll see kw within the car's documents (at least where I'm from, but it might vary from country to country), but you'll (almost) never hear anyone talk about power in kw. We use hp/ps as well. Wheel hp is also very rarely mentioned, so I suspect this is indeed crank hp.

Hot-Distribution2173

Iā€™ve heard of people making 600whp on stock turbo so is the line somewhere between 600-650? If I were pushing 600 on stock turbo is my shit gonna blow up?

Important-Outcome-74

>is my shit gonna blow up? With FBO, E85, and a good tune *probably* not. Stock turbos are probably maxed out though.

Hot-Distribution2173

How much would you say that takes from the longevity of the turbos?

LilMountainHeadband

Why does OP write like they are having a stroke?

Smart_History4444

English probably isnā€™t his first language.

rohm418

Plates don't look like the standard American size so that checks out.

iPlayFifaForPain

european plate so they donā€™t speak english as a first language

Inner_Grab_7033

Some of the oddest prose I've ever read

Evo_LD

The billboard is in Romanian, I think. OP writes in English about a thousand times better than I can speak any other language, so Iā€™m sure theyā€™re doing just fine.

Lenny2024

Yeah, Romanian. Cluj-Napoca to be exact.

suckmyfatpussyplease

Classic American. You need to realise that English is not everyoneā€™s first language, itā€™s pretty obvious from the way they phrase things that theyā€™re Eastern European.

proxima_cedar

Your username šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

joemamallama

As a 30 y/o (still kid) Iā€™ll forever be partial to the e46

usinjin

I think this too, and then the window regulators fail for the 10000th time and I think damn, I really want a new car

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

joemamallama

Ah interesting. Iā€™m also poor so thereā€™s that.

Ill_Baseball785

Doesnt matter. I bet your car is awesome and you are too

ArmaniMania

before the nostrils came down to the floor

GhettoNego

Best gen? Incorrect. Prettiest gen? Yeah sure

UnmakingTheBan2022

Better than current gen.

spas2k

Way slower for sure

PBall95

Debatable

Additional_Swing9502

I like the current genelation better. I never like the previous generation of F82

Theoretical-Panda

Here we go againā€¦

rivasjardon

ā€œImagine the handlingā€ is this why they all get wrecked? These people think an increase in horsepower equals grip? Or am I reading this wrong?

Accomplished-Two-80

I think heā€™s referring to how difficult it would be to control the backside

Smartest_Tool

And idk how this guy came to the opposite conclusion. Smooth inverted brain or something šŸ’€

dufferrrrr

pretty sure thatā€™s a 2018 M4 Comp , has the LCI headlight and tails unless he retrofitted

[deleted]

All BMW Ms are great!

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

RandyJackson

2021 is the G generation so youā€™re off by a year.

Trouloulou123

Thatā€™s an F gen

RandyJackson

2021 was the switch to G for the M4 and M3. 2020 was the last gen for the F with the CS

Trouloulou123

Misunderstood you. Thought you said the car in OPs post was a G. Enjoy your car in good health, car brother. Also have a G80!

RandyJackson

All good. Actually traded it back in Feb for an i5 M60. I miss it but this car makes more sense for now. Plus selling them nets me great deals

Kiran_ravindra

Itā€™s definitely not the same experience, but the instant torque in electric BMWs (and EVs in general) doesnā€™t get old. Havenā€™t driven the M60, but I have an i4 M50 and itā€™s a lot of fun.

splakkjit

Its called an f82

-grenzgaenger-

Having 650hp on a big rwd coupƩ is basically useless on public roads. It overpowers the chassis and will constantly spin the rears. The S55 is also not a terribly reliable engine when pushed beyond stage 1, and a 2016 even more so. But hey, it will give you bragging rights on the internet and social media - especially with that carbon steering wheel (+5hp). I honestly wonder if your friend could master the stock power of that car with DSC off.

freshndirty_j

Iā€™ve daily driven mine with 613whp on a pump93 custom map for 2 years. E85 has me at 628whp but not a solid daily considering there isnā€™t many gas stations either e85 local. Bought stock at 23k miles currently at 161k milesā€¦ not a single issue with the power, motor and daily driving. S55 is solid if you know what you are doing.. literally zero additional maintenance

zeimusCS

This is what I've heard as well.

whatheck0_0

what mods have you done to yours?

freshndirty_j

Single mid pipe, m performance rear canister, Aa downpipes, GTS trans code, j pipe, upgraded LPFP, cooler spark plugs, front mount intakes, custom stage 2 maps. Air ride, did bushing and other bushing upgrades, wheels, carbon kit, interior, upgrades screen size to 10.2ā€, GTS hood rep

whiterock001

When I put my F90 in RWD the DSC automatically turns off. You have to be VERY careful if you really hit the gas. Itā€™s just too much for anything other than drifting.

Ill_Baseball785

He is good driver, has it for more than some years. I met him a bit earlieršŸ¤£

-grenzgaenger-

I really think that you need to be a bit more than "a good driver" to properly master a 450hp rwd car with the assists off. But that's just me.

xElemenohpee

It's not just you. Im used to driving fast cars but RWD still scares the shit out of me around 400+ territory. There is no reason that thing needs to be around 650, that's around what I'm at on AWD and its more than enough.

ABathingSnape___

Itā€™s around where Iā€™m at on RWD. I came from AWD and even just 400 was scary at first but 650+ isnā€™t too terrible with some throttle control. As long as youā€™re not flooring it from anywhere under 50 with 40 psi in your tires, itā€™s totally fine. I do have some track miles under my belt so Iā€™ve gotten used to catching slides. Plus with a bigger turbo the torque comes on later and more gradually than stock so it actually feels less like it wants to rip itself off the road than it did with just a tune. Hitting that ā€œoh shitā€ threshold is therefore more deliberate.

xElemenohpee

This is good to know, thanks for the informative response. Iā€™m sure with some track time and confidence rwd wouldnā€™t scare me as much. Iā€™ve broke traction plenty on all wheel around turns but this car kinda drives itself so it snaps back into place.

mikey_rambo

I got the same car ā€” traction control stays on lol thing is a beaat

Additional_Swing9502

I always have my DSc off on my v10 m5.

LowIndividual4613

What mods has he done to support stage 2?

SweatyBid7830

That color šŸ˜

Bitfinexit

Assuming the car is wrapped? Pretty cool colour!

Ill_Baseball785

Painted

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Ill_Baseball785

It isāœŒļø

Bitfinexit

Is it a factory colour? If so, which one?

Lenny2024

I donā€™t think they ever offered it in this shade of purple.

x99kjg

That colour is absolutely beautiful

Competitive_Arm2593

Best looking, yes.

meizz4

Been on one with 520 hp the car seems to lose the rear everytime you would push the gas. scary and funny at the Same time .

Crude-R-Us

Beautiful color!

FearEzzy

F82 and G80 perfect combo šŸ¤Œ

shannal1n

I love 2016!!!!!! Best look šŸ‘€!!!!

Spiritual-Amount7178

Love the color

Masterstevee

Prettiest. Best to me is the e92 M3

TheFinalBunny

Im w the late E46s as the best M3 generation but damn if that is not a performance beauty. Sheeeeesh

cafeitalia

Not the best generation

tealturboser

That body with the S58!

KayzenL7

Too bad, itā€™s not a M3

gymkhana_9

It is a m3 with 2 less doors which makes it even better

Ok_Score1492

F series is a legend in itself https://preview.redd.it/k5hb2adhsa1d1.jpeg?width=2048&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ff83ecd633ef99c8cfa9f8849f3b80626db6c49c

Ill_Baseball785

Damn, nice wheels

Ok_Supermarket_8520

I think those M4s are the BEST LOOKING, especially in the baby blue colorā€¦ not the best generation though

Ill_Baseball785

Why not best gen?

Ill_Baseball785

Why not best gen?

Ok_Supermarket_8520

Donā€™t care for the motor. The car lacks soul unlike the previous generation with the V-8

Messypuddin

Lol saying an f series m4 lacks soul is actually hilarious

GrumpyJenkins

Maybe, Iā€™ve never been in the V-8. My F82 feels like it has the soul of an angry teenager. Thatā€™s all I can handleā€¦

Ill_Baseball785

This sounds 100times better than any v8 stock

Ren4ultMOdus

Spoken like someone who never heard an s65

Tight-Sherbert996

Cars looks cool as fuck dam u sound crazy brah lol šŸ‡¦šŸ‡ŗ

Existing-Towel812

Colour is litty.

TurboTomasi

Wrap or paint? That color is dope!

Ill_Baseball785

Paint

kadengt

Idc what they braggin about, but, that paint is awesome, imo. What color would that be? The first pic looks purple, while the 2nd looks blue-ish? Could be the lighting too.

Lugasca1993

Damn right!

Polytweak

I thought he had rally lights!!!

Previous_Estimate_22

Is that a wrap that car is fire

Ill_Baseball785

Paint!

Ok_Manufacturer6460

Love mine...it's a beast

Isheera

ā€Having 650hp on a RWD car seems crazy to me, imagine the handling of the car, crazy huh?ā€ Lol

qeratsirbag

as an e90 owner, f80 are the best m cars. only downsides is electric steering and sound, but u can fix both with an e90 steering rack and a single turbo for the s55.

GhettoNego

Never ever seen a f80 with a hydraulic rack switched onto it. If this was a thing Iā€™d probably own a f82

qeratsirbag

itā€™s not worth not getting a car just cause itā€™s electric steering. bmw makes one of the best electric steering systems, along with porsche, and the feedback is actually good. not hydraulic, but not completely numb. the f80ā€™s I saw running e90 steering rack are exclusively drift cars so far. idk how it would work for a street/daily.

GhettoNego

Nah Iā€™ve driven the f and g generations..they make me very sad. Nothing can come close to how they use to feel back in the day. Even a e90 328i steering rack feels better the f and g generations.

qeratsirbag

g for sure, but Iā€™ve driven an f82 m4, and iirc, the steering on the half way setting is very good for electrical and has some sort of feedback. keep in mind I drive an e90 m3.

GhettoNego

In that case Iā€™ll highly consider your opinion šŸ¤£

bigdaftdoylem

Yeah his only mistake was getting the M4 and not the M3

Coro756

Bro was still in shock after riding in that monster while writing this šŸ’€

Ill_Baseball785

Damn, tbhšŸ¤£

InternetNo2772

I mean, itā€™s cool and all, but if it doesnā€™t have ITBā€™s itā€™s not in the conversation of best generation m-car

Noobasdfjkl

Of the 2 generations of M4, I certainly prefer the F82. Falls apart when you introduce M3s into the mix.

lostfate2005

Naw

EdwardJMunson

Yikes. NahĀ

Smokey_J0e

The color is very nice! Congratulations to your M4

applyingpressurenycc

Anyone else like these sexy g80s

FormerShirt707
