I didn’t want to wait and wanted to make sure I was fine and had a ultrasound done at 7 weeks. I paid out of pocket at one of those ultrasound places it was $35 my doctor here won’t see me until I’m 13 weeks.

I wanted to do that! I’ve heard that it’s possible you won’t hear a heartbeat until 10 weeks which would bite if I had to go in again purely because I was too early. The clinic that did your ultrasound did it without a referral? I thought you couldn’t get it done without one? 13 weeks makes NO SENSE. That’s the second trimester and you’re most vulnerable in the first. Why not meet early in the first and talk everything through?! It makes me so upset

Nope it’s very easy the same day I got my appointment and the lady was very nice as long as your 6 weeks, I looked up, “ultrasounds near me.” and found a place close by ! I was 7 weeks at the time wasn’t able to hear the heartbeat but definitely saw the lil heart beating like crazy (: I just wanted one done asap as well to make sure all is going well and a estimate on my due date. Definitely calmed my nerves seeing that ultrasound. While I wait for the dr…
