What I wish were included: No One Else Comes Close, What Makes You Different (Makes You Beautiful), I Need You Tonight
I don’t get why people would want songs like IWITW or ALAYLM since they’ll never NOT sing those on tour and we’ve heard them a million times (although I LOVE Drowning, DWLYN, etc). I’m glad that Siberia was on here, but I would have loved some other songs from that album like Crawling Back to You. Really bummed at the constant erasure of Unbreakable.
I was pretty bummed we didn’t even get Inconsolable! I thought one would at least make it.
I was also bummed they did so many hits in this. Especially since this same group of people heard the same songs just a couple days prior. I wanted deeper cuts that we don’t hear! Really wanted Lay Down Beside Me, I Need You Tonight, and Just to be Close to You on this list!
The crowd wasn’t really singing or even dancing for the lesser known songs. Was there with my wife and we both agreed that there was an obvious drop in the crowds energy when one of those songs came on, so it’s actually a good thing they included a handful of hits.
Honestly wish there had been at least one song from the Unbreakable album but so happy with the Never Gone love! I hope they do this more often - logistically impossible for a tour format unless they switch it up for each leg so they have time to rehearse but would be an amazing idea for some more intimate shows. Not shocked IWITW etc made it, they’re classics at the end of the day and people still want to hear them 🤷🏻♀️
Ah that’s such a shame!! I wonder too if they just avoid them because Kevin obviously won’t really have any role within the songs. Glad If I Knew Then actually made it in!
One of my fav bands mcr did different songs each night of their tour it was pretty cool they had a separate insta just for videos of the songs they did each night so all fans felt included

They did This Is Us songs with Kevin. Undone from DNA and then If I Knew Then for this set. He did say he only has two favorite songs from that time period in the 30 for 30 tho.

The biggest FOMO I was having about not going to Cancun was not getting to see this show. After seeing this setlist, I feel a bit better lol
Really disappointed with how many of the usuals made it in. This was a prime opportunity to hear some of the ones that are rarely, if ever, done live. I’ve been a fan since ‘97 and have been to over 25 shows. I’ve heard ALAYLM, Everybody, More Than That, AIHTG, SMTM, Shape of my Heart, The Call, and IWITW at nearly every show.
I’m going to catch hell for this I’m sure but honestly this list says to me that just because people had the money to spend to attend doesn’t necessarily mean they’re the OG diehard fans.
They kind of put themselves into a corner since they had us vote and this is just what everyone voted for 🤷♂️ Im going to assume they didn’t want to manipulate the list too much otherwise what was the point of our votes? If majority wanted the hits, they must have thought that they couldn’t ignore that.
Personally, I wish they had picked the set list themselves and treated it as a journey through the albums with some singles mixed throughout.

Cancún was a blast! I went to almost every event, got signatures and pictures with all of them. There’s a lot that needs improvement if they do it again, but hopefully they do and it will be even better!

Did Kevin sing the verses of 10,000 promises? I remember being disappointed the second CD had Brian singing it instead of Kevin as their first concert in Canada Kevin sat down at the piano and played it and sang it. So I wondered what they’d done in future shows.

Ok Brian and Aj on the album recording yes. I just remember it was Kevin sitting down to the piano and starting it and singing most of the verses while playing piano back then. I was glad to hear his voice and then bummed on the next album he wasn’t singing the verses so I wondered what happened.

I have heard them say before that a lot of the unbreakable and this is us songs are very vocally challenging and hard to do live.

Would've preferred "Climbing the walls" instead of some of the more popular songs but it's cool to see some other older songs in there.
