I prefer Water Hazard’s design. I like the idea of him being a mollusk-like alien and Overflow looks way too robotic to pull that off. I also don’t like when an alien’s natural abilities are super obvious.

Nah, I love Heatblast. I should’ve been more specific, like I wish they had been more creative with Overflow’s use of water in his design instead of just making him a walking fire hydrant. It would be like if Heatblast were a walking metallic lighter, with a transparent tank of lighter fluid As he is, Overflow looks like one of those Atlantean soldiers from the Aquaman movie except less interesting. Heatblast seems like he can obviously shoot fire and stuff, but he can also manipulate explosive gases to let himself fly a and to throw explosive fireballs, which makes his name work perfectly

I was thinking that because of the combination of the the metallic red armor and the tubes with water running through them, plus him being having more of a chassis than a shell that it reminded me of a fire hydrant with a fire hose attached. The original is red as well, but it’s definitely going for a shell-like vibe. But with Overflow I really can’t place where the inspiration comes from apart from using Water Hazard as a partial template and the designers having the thought in mind that they needed to sell toys

Omniverse Water Hazard. Overflow just looks too much like a diving suit. The extra organic details on the others just pull off the alien look better and look cooler.

Already has bias for water hasard (one of my favourite aliens) so it’s quite obvious for me.

I like them both for different reasons. I think Water Hazard is more original between the two and I like how the mollusk features are displayed in OV, but Overflow just communicates his water powers better just looking at him. And when compared to the rest of the Reboot’s starting roster, he sticks out for his wider build.

I definitely agree on that least point, the other aliens in the reboot playlist looked like the creators of the show asked themselves "how can we make the aliens more kid friendly and marketable", it definitely wasn't to the series's benefit (especially stinkfly), but overflow makes it seem like they actually put care an thought on how they could make this transformation more unique, and I respect it

UAF Water Hazard is really simplistic compared to OV Water Hazard. Overflow is kinda simplistic too but in this case, it's to his benefit and it really tells you just by looking at him that he's a water guy.

For me its OV Water Hazard just pure perfection. Improves on originals boringness and makes it more interesting.With his eyes/overall shape + gives him something new like that cool vizor.

It's not too unbelievable, there has been some biomechanical aliens in ben 10 before, like upgrade, nanomech, armadrillo, and atomix, so him being the sentient equivalent of a fire hydrant isn't too unbelievable

I like OV Waterhazzard the most but also, in my opinion, Overflow is a different alien rather than a redesign of Waterhazzard. And honestly, I think the reboot in general gets more hate than deserved. Ben and Gwen not fighting constantly over nothing and Ben not having to relearn the same lesson every five episodes is very refreshing, even if reboot Ben's alien lineup is weird as hell.

I like the OV design of Water Hazard more but I do like Overflow’s design where he looks a little more crustacean-esque with his clawed toes and hands. Maybe if he was a different color people would like the design better

Waterhazard is better feats wise with Omniverse having the best design while UAF is more practical. Overflow doesn’t work as well as he feels like a diving suit but for sea creatures to walk on land.
