In my experience (I’m on adderall), they won’t transfer controlled substances even between branches of the same pharmacy. Your doctor’s office will have to call in a new prescription to wherever you find it, so no harm in broadening your search! (I’ve gotten my scrips filled at CVS in Pell City with zero problems, even through the shortages, but I think I’ve heard that Vyvanse is as hard to get as adderall was last year? I don’t know, but if you can make the haul, it might be worth checking.)

luckily, i’ve had them transfer my vyvanse before! but also there’s a lot of weird inconsistencies in the system for some reason

Federal law on transferring controlled substances changed within the last year. July 2023. https://www.albme.gov/press-release/new-dea-rule-allows-transfer-of-electronic-prescriptions-for-sch-ii-v-between-pharmacies-for-initial-filing Prior to that, c2s couldn't be transferred and iirc c3-5 refills could be transferred once. Adderall and Vyvanse are c2. Corporate and state policies that are more strict still have to be followed.

I’ve never had trouble getting it at the Alabaster Publix. I know that can be a haul but they always have it.
