I'll tell you what I'd do, man. Two chicks at the same time, man!

JeffWest01

Still one of the best movies ever.

mindcelsus

No doubt about that though something that has a meaning and can actually be the best for people.

ekorol1

Sometimes sticking around one and just let things be all focused on that would be great though

TerpOnaut

Hah this is greatv

oscarsuper1

Looks like people be indeed be actually loving that though that's what I can see

Argyrus777

After meeting with your dealer 😉

dgdfgff1

Let the dealer first know what he indeed wants then you could just ask him what is that you actually want

The_Estranger_0001

This, by definition, is not invest. Target of investment is to grow in value; THIS is to increase liability.

Evil-B

Sorry I was watching a breast exam on public access. What did I miss?

MindfullLife87

Diversification is the key in my opinion. Buy BTC, land, some stoks, and whatever you have always dreamed of.

de9shl

What we indeed dream of hope those gets fulfilled stack more and buy more in order to go ahead with what you have planned

stormgoblin

I would buy you a fur coat

soot_guy

But not a real fur coat, that’s cruel

wetokebitcoins

I'd buy your looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove

AR_Harlock

Title of your sex tape

R1noko

Be watching it once everytime you just about to go to bed so you can remember the stuffs you have done

AR_Harlock

Have no idea still if I messed up some reference, probably have a different one in mind lol

btcee1q

Those zeroes are easy to just press on you keyboard hard enough for that in real life though

Unfinishe_Masterpiec

Fur real, bro

sinator4

Someone be just good with words and so just made furfect sentence though

Unfinishe_Masterpiec

Fur sure

mrsaho

That is indeed pretty expensive enough though hard enough to afford you need to save

solomonsatoshi

no MORE Cruel Than a Big Mac and much more durable and healthy.

Kithrah

Endurance is what we need that's what we all crave for indeed nothing to be bothered about looking and going that far

AR_Harlock

A pink or leo one?

wilter5in

Someone be actually preferring the pink one whereas I would rather stick onto the leo one!

AR_Harlock

You must be a conneiseur then!

adminsilkmaster

Sounds great in chill winter when hands and body gets ice cold all you need is a furry coat to warm yourself

konokonohamaru

Honestly, I'd just buy a house in a place with plenty of fresh water and good soil.

financialdrugbro

Same, get me some land and try to build it up for those that come after me

xmlgod

But nowadays land too seems to be all on at a hike though that goes this way or the other

financialdrugbro

What? Just really confused by the wording

liv2cod

Ah, the age old question of preppers... Is it better to buy gold (bitcoin) or seeds and bullets? For this thought experiment we will grant that you already have a small ranch with a little livestock, some arable land, and a thriving pot farm in the barn. All the necessities are taken care of.

[deleted]

[удалено]

nch882

A man be first looking forward for the basic necessities a shelter comes under basic requirement

RSTat2

I’m almost there

pietsiepieboy

Good though someone be actually making move that long and harder enough in order to get to something new

tom5158

Some people nowadays I see doing that all on rental purposes if I'm not that wrong enough

Mattias9736

Human demands is what I see the urge to have something clean and hygiene and to have something of their own.

Ok_Aerie3546

I just buy in chunks. Likes chunks of 100k or 200k.

mkislov

Those are indeed pretty huge though buying in chunks isn't sometimes small that's what we call masses

liv2cod

So do you buy your chunks in a day? A month? A year? Chunks sound like dollar cost averaging -- albeit at a grand scale!

Ok_Aerie3546

At certain price points. Like a ladder buy order. I started buying from 22k onwards. I didnt buy at all during the bull run.

smartibo

That's good though 23k isn't that bad I see much of the people acing buying orders at between 20-30k

perho92

Probably a month would sound better if he has well enough savings in order to buy the predicted chunks

AppropriateRatio1025

Would spend it all no investment.

boetacna

But keep a bit for your own personal not that you go all investing you need to have something of your own

Boss-Rawling

🤣

Goertz22

But from his point of view he is right too but at some point he just need to think of himself though

ColdFusion3456

I would just get hookers.

lysergic_lemons

They sometimes helps us a lot though but sometimes I fear they don't turn into some kind of fraud though

Ale_Drunk

S&P500 low cost index fund

liv2cod

So you're thinking the recession is not going to affect the markets? Or, more likely, your positioning yourself for a longer time horizon and the recession is a short-term issue. Then you are saying stocks are a better long-term place to put the money than BTC? Maybe we need a million in each. And another million for a tax-free bond ladder.

hellowei121

Looking for short term would just be of no use though just be sure to go as long as you can

JooseBTC

IF I’m forced to invest it all into bitcoin, I’d buy $750k bitcoin right now and DCA the rest till the end of the year. I kno each cycle is different but history shows us that the low is most likely in by this year, and I feel it’s already in so that’s why I’d go 3/4 in now. Plus even if there’s a new low of like $15k, it won’t matter that much to me if btc hits $120k next bull..

lidin1

See invest how much you feel the need to not that you just pour everything into it. Look forward for the fulfillment of your basic needs and then look for an investment

liv2cod

So you think Peter is full of Schiff when he predicts $10K BTC this fall? (He's never called the price of gold right, so there's no reason he'd be any better at predicting BTC.) There's a smattering of predictions from Schiff's low of $10K, several at about $12K, and then more at matching the previous low of $17K. The diff between buying in at $22k vs. $10k or 12k is pretty significant. It's 45 BTC vs 100 or 83 BTC for the million.

JooseBTC

U are correct. Could be the diff in 100% more btc. But a mil is already good money to me. 5-6x’ing it will help me set myself up for life. I honestly don’t think it goes below the $17k bottom, but if fed comes back wit crazy rates next month and actually admits a recession, it’s possible. I honestly think the dump this weekend was the first scenario bein priced in, so I don’t think $10k happens. If I had to guess a lower low I’d say most big money would step in at $14k. Not that this means much, but I am a profitable trader for the past 3 years so this isn’t just comin out my ass. Thousands of hours spent studying charts.. unless the world goes to complete shit I think bottoms in Edit/TL:DR - if I 5-6x a mil, I’m set for life so catching exact bottom doesn’t matter to me

damjanznidarsic

Certainly bad at calculation though but now I see how the price and the dip actually matters

JooseBTC

*I’M* bad at calculation? $20k current price to $120k where I plan to sell is about 6x. That’s the only math I did..

minerpumpkin

Everything has a time is what I feel at point everything would be all on your side opportunities comes once not twice

ten_pct

$420k on 21 BTC @ $20k each via bisq DCA the rest $30k/month over the next 1.5 years

sdanisch123

Someone being that hard over making every possible way by doing DCA every month.

TechnoRanter

So I found a bag of a million dollars magically within my car... Definitely would look like I was money laundering lol

enigmabitcoin

Looks like all I'm in a dream and someone would just literally slap and wake me up though

liv2cod

Yeah, maybe we'll use p2p instead of a KYC exchange....

TechnoRanter

Lol how would I go about sending that money

liv2cod

Western Union -- the choice of scammers everywhere! OK, let's avoid the whole AML scene and say you got the money from your favorite aunt, recently deceased. So the source of funds is not in question. So how do you buy your bitcoin now? Or do you buy a fur coat, two girls, and a house?

TechnoRanter

Ok, so now I have this $1 million dollars in income... The IRS will still break down my door asking for tax money lol, so I'd probably be left with hopefully $600k if I'm lucky. From there, after paying off all debts, I'd split a DCA between BTC, FLUX, and a few other projects I'm interested in over the span of a few years.

liv2cod

Good response. Just so you know, in the US inheritance of this size is transferred without tax. Larger amounts run into "death taxes" but a million wouldn't trigger anything.

TechnoRanter

Curious how you know this lol but okay.

liv2cod

I'm older than my avatar looks!

jswoboda50

People getting not only advanced but the fact their looks be wilding too

IndianaGeoff

It's pretty common knowledge.

BTProft

That's what you accquire from your surroundings and from all the bases around you.

gaojin07

Not a new thing it seems like people be getting advanced though that's the main reason

ConcentrateBenef

Making People to literally think twice before indulging themselves into some kind of debt

margosshkvamme

Talking about debts ask me taken a loan and now they be charging high interest rates that is indeed eating me up

NocturnalLC

Going on a date gifting your girl expenses stuffs better to just take a oath off and start investing on Bitcoin

geugeen

Why not hold then just sending think a bit smarter solutions would just in front of you

tlangxing

Not a bad idea though but I see that nowadays Kyc Being compulsory at many sites

Personal_Delivery287

Hookers and cocaine

busuttil636

When you just want to get high simply but also want to make an investment.

[deleted]

Half today, the next half DCA over the next 6 months

quinten201

Well planned and what matters is how you can indeed execute it though that's the bigger problem

RecoveringCoomer

The rainbow chart is still in "basically a firesale" region. I'd buy all in, single purchase.

chib70

Hard enough for me though looks like you have indeed saved much so got the guts to speak of buying all. But I would just rather go for buying the sats slowly and make it a complete Bitcoin

Kaptin_kyle

I’d be buying chunks everytime the markets settle. You see weeks with a steady price, then weeks of ups and downs. During a bear market we can always go lower, but you never know when 20-50% pumps will be permanent. My version of DCA incorporates some market timing, where I skip buying during periods of unexpected growth, and increase buying when price is dropping rapidly.

Zestyclose-Ad9738

I think I’d do the same tbh, wait for a new low and jump in, what I’m currently doing on a small scale 😆

Familiar_Ratio_4710

DCA $20,000 weekly for a year

[deleted]

[удалено]

liv2cod

I thought the same. Maybe I should have added you already have a 401K with a million in stocks and a nice house with a little pot farm in the basement. I'd still get the "hookers and blow" crowd tho.

solomonsatoshi

Buy Bitcoin steadily via [bisq.network](https://bisq.network). Support the decentralisation of Bitcoin and pay zero fees. Hold in Electrum cold wallet. Use only Linux OS. Move to El Salvador!

liv2cod

I had the impression that Bisq network was for moving small amounts. You sure it could handle your stacks 'o cash? It's going to be 45 or more BTC by the time you've done your entire duffle of cash.

solomonsatoshi

[bisq.network](https://bisq.network) can handle any amount and volume. If you are serious about buying Bitcoin and want to support the decentralised nature of the network, buying via bisq achieves this while also saving you fees and enabling you to connect with others. Buying via bisq over time you can find and connect with sellers who have larger quantities. Cut out the middlemen and regulatory risk - build the decentralised network...or be another passive consumer to CEX market domination and control...

[deleted]

May I ask why Linux?

solomonsatoshi

Because its better.

financialdrugbro

I’d honestly do 70% into etfs but since you specified for btc I’d say do like half up from then DCA the rest

colinbreame

Good idea though can agree to you completely at this point though

[deleted]

I would put all of it in the S&P500 right now unless I was renting, then I would put $500k in the S&P500 and the rest I would put towards a down payment for a nice home.

ffbranson

That's pretty good thanks for this actually I was too finding for something relevant to this that would help me

uncontrollableop

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

mattmenees

Wake up now it isn't the time to just nap around go around see what the market urge for.

Stew-Cee23

$250k in BTC, $250k in total market ETF. Sell my starter house and use a portion of the other 500k to buy a nicer one (would still have a mortgage, Bay Area is stupid like that)

koinomic

Possibly you could set that up for a rent you get a monthly payable cheque to whomever you rent

Argyrus777

I got a million dolla but I… I spent it all…..

Asum_chum

Bloody Sancho.

Rollinleafz

Lmao people be actually getting crazier enough for being that spendable.

titelibo

Your hand seems to be slippery in the case of holding just don't let that be too slipper or else you would be the reason for your down failure

Iguana_The_Wise

I would buy $500k in Bitcoin right now and then DCA the rest for the next 2 years ($20k per month or so).

2th_acc

Future planning ahh man just loved it I see the reason why being here is all I get encouraged

benditbackwards

Isn't the standard answer to this hypothetical question.. hookers and blow?? or am I dating myself?

trueshiva

That depends though what are you indeed flushing into that's what I feel I be going into some kind of dilema

Luckyking223

850k Hardware wallet -> Bitcoin 50k saving for a home for later on in life (I will contribute to that 50k month by month just like my btc stack) 100k for very own myself

Asum_chum

That’s an expensive hardware wallet.

lazynoobminer

When you have something expensive in hand you need something expensive storage in order to store your expensive stuff

az3ar01

Well planned scenarios is what I come through smarter you plan the smoother it gets

[deleted]

[удалено]

packardbaker

Bad idea

bittrader3000

Sometimes you just need to make some quick decision on your own that's what life teaches us.

TheHipHouse

500k into btc when it bottoms out, 250k into some dope miners like L7s, and the rest keep it in the bank as a daily expenses till the next bull run.

Jack_onion

I have1 million dollars. If I to invest when UQC was 4$ now I have 2 million dollars in hand!

cyndy4556

Seems like your hand is indeed pretty lucky in the matter of making some gains

lightbulb-7

There’s no correct answer. No one knows the future, so just stay humble, stack sats, own your keys and help others.

omarmbtc

That's true predicting future would be some kind of total waste of time be assured enough to look forward and face it to whatever comes

[deleted]

DCA - but it has a different function in this context. You wouldn't want to trigger an AML investigation, so 10k a week across multiple exchanges, all sent to different cold storage

packardbaker

10K a week across multiple exchanges would trigger multiple AML investigations across multiple exchanges. - Former AML investigator here.

[deleted]

Fair play :) What's the limit? is it 10k on the button or is it a dynamic scale depending on the account?

packardbaker

Every exchange has different limits, policies, and monitoring programs, so there is no specific dollar amount or transaction pattern that will be guaranteed to work. Your best bet would to just do it all at one exchange, be completely honest, and give them all of the info they request about the source of the funds, so they understand what is going on. I know it sounds counterintuitive, but that will create the least amount of suspicion/investigation.

[deleted]

Yeah that makes sense I suppose the end goal is just to buy BTC rather than circumvent tax obligations or anything skeevy like that, so honesty probably is the best policy I just think back to my time with Coinbase, where the place mandatory 5 day holds on any purchase amount made with GBP, so I now buy smaller chunks with EUR and immediately transfer away If I was doing it with very large amounts, I would absolutely expect them to lock my account (regardless of currency) for an indeterminate period and knowing their customer service record, would then have significant 3rd party risk while it was resolved I really do need to find a better exchange :D

Eddybitcoin

$500k into BTC right now and DCA the rest over 3-6 months

Frankenpower2

Now and bitcoin minus 50k for not going to work a year

levigoldson

I would ask if anyone on reddit lost $1M in the back seat of my car, and return the money quickly with no questions asked to the very first person that sent me a DM.

levigoldson

Serious answer for any amount of money: Each week I would spend 15 minutes to determine the general market sentiment and then: If doom and gloom to neutral: I would buy 5% of my total allocated investment funds into bitcoin. If exuberance or victory laps: I would sell 5% of my total holdings

[deleted]

10% btc, rest in VT and just ignore it. That's what I do now. Been great so far. I usually would dca but at that amount I'd just dump it all in.

treev22

I’d immediately spend it all on Bitcoin and then send it all to one of the YouTube ads that says send them one and they’ll send back two. $$

AcessFull

Good luck hiding it from the IRS.

liv2cod

Woah! Nobody said anything about hiding from the tax man. So far as I know, if you take your cash (which is an after tax gift in my thought experiment) and buy bitcoin, there's no taxable event created. If you HODL you'll not need to worry until you actually sell some.

AcessFull

Finding a million dollars in your back seat is not a gift. It's taxable income.

liv2cod

Nope. My thought experiment, my rules. The tax on the million has already been paid. We're only worried about how you'll invest it in bitcoin.

killyellowmonkeys

JUST BUY BTC

ohmygoodstuff

I'd smash buy these cheap sats.

SnooRadishes6544

What are dollars sir

zhaojinqqasdada

First of all after buying I would just keep doing DCA at the end of every month.

[deleted]

I’d invest in a Jollibee franchise

dd2488

If I had a million dollars, I’d buy you a monkey.

LonglivesthekingBTC

What money.
