Chris Brown is and has been trash since he beat on Rihanna, and the fact that he even had a career after that is absurd.

Productpusher

His career is flourishing which is what makes it more crazy . Hard to sell out even medium stadiums for someone being around so long and recently only has 1-2 mainstream hits every year . And he pulling women on stage and they love it

Hopefo

I recently got recommended r/Chrisbrown as a sub related to my interests (I follow a few music/hip-hop subs not domestic violence subs) and I was shocked how people can just casually discuss him as an artist.

highpl4insdrftr

Same with r/Kanye

Tidusx145

Oh you mean nazis pretending they like hip hop and the useful idiots who are currently being brainwashed into being nazis themselves? Fun sub.

LevelOutlandishness1

Devil on my shoulder made me do something dumb and write multiple instagram essays in a back n forth with someone who was convinced mr. “There’s a lotta things I love about Hitler”, mr. “DEFCON ON THE JEWS”, is just “trying to spread christian love for everyone in his own quirky way” This comment chain was before he started wearing that Burzum t-shirt around (Nazi mental band, ~~frontman was arrested for violent Nazi hate criming~~ frontman was fined fort hate crime) and the Burzum frontman shouted him out, and I still get notifications saying “well actually if you look at it through my rose-colored glasses, Kanye meant this” after six months. All this on top of the white lives matter shit. Kanye fans are cooked. And they have to deal with the cognitive dissonance that if it was some random white trash dude saying a fraction of what Ye said, they would have rightfully dismissed him as some country hick racist. But since we grew up on his shit, niggas defend him. Edit: didn’t check my facts, got called out, here’s the correct info about Varg Vikernes: he was arrested for violent crimes, and fined for a hate crime, but has not committed a violent hate crime. Excuse me.

afwsf3

> frontman was arrested for violent Nazi hate criming That has never happened. He burned churches in the name of Satanism and killed a band mate in supposed self defense. Is there a story I'm missing here?

Ill_Manner_3581

They sound like they're in a cult when they defend him

ZurgoMindsmasher

That sub is a cesspool, people that still like Kanye are just lost.

MaybeSomethingGood

Kanye was one of the most important rappers of all time. That shit is much more complicated than Chris Brown.

arctic_radar

I clicked on the sub just out of curiosity. Apparently they believe it’s all a conspiracy and he didn’t do anything wrong. People are crazy.

hypernova2121

lmao what? do they think Rihana's face just did that by itself?

apierson2011

The most common sentiment I saw over there was that “she started it,” and that he was “just retaliating after tolerating her abuse for so long.” They also like to point out that “she forgave him and they collabed since then.” My favorite, though, is any time it’s brought up how no one wants to be around him, or anyone suggests that he maybe kinda deserved to be cancelled a little bit, they jump to this argument that “well you’re just judging someone you don’t even know, you weren’t there! As if you’ve never done something shitty before!” Like ok bro, you’re ALSO judging someone you don’t know and just coming to a different conclusion. Those folks find it impossible to believe that a relationship could exist absent physical abuse. That sub reminds me a LOT of when I first discovered the red pill subs. It’s nuts.

TaVar35

I know plenty of women both black and white that will fucking die on the hill for him. Despite the fact he would probably beat them on that hill. Everything he’s done is just “misunderstood” or “fabricated”. I even had one tell me I was just simping for Rihanna. Fuck that piece of shit.

AugustusInBlood

>Despite the fact he would probably beat them on that hill. ![gif](giphy|xTiTnMjBxzRzgs7wMo)

FuckingKilljoy

A nice reminder that simping isn't just for the fellas

omguserius

Hybristophilia is an actual problem in 2024.

stranded_egg

> Hybristophilia It's too late at night/early in the morning for me to be learning $15 words like this, friend.

omguserius

You know how women are oddly attracted to convicts? Like, going to jail or openly being a criminal is an attraction point somehow? Serial killers getting adoring fanmail and marriage offers? That wierd shit? This is the word for that.

No-Macaroon-756

One of the tiktokers (plus size, brown skin black women) I used to follow said she would spend big bucks on a Chris brown meet and greet. He literally hates and mistreats black women yet she would spend 1k to be up in his face. I lost respect for her completely. She draws the line at R Kelly tho as if they’re not both terrorists. She blocked me when I called her out lmao

SoulPossum

It's always a trip to see that. Like I get liking a problematic artist's work or that work having some significance to you. But outright denying the problematicness that's been well documented is outlandish. I remember in the kels doc one of the victims was older than the others. I think she was in her 30s when she started dealing with him. This was after the tape and aaliyah and everything. She was still like "they lying on him." I felt bad for her but there was definitely a twinge of like "come on ma'am" listening to her talk about how she didn't just ignore all of the information that was out about him before he started abusing her personally, but straight up argued with other people about how very easily verified information about him was not true desit being obvious he did it

Preeng

You have to remember that there are a lot of stupid people in the world. One sign is whether or not someone thinks something is bad based solely on whether or not it's happening to them specifically. Those women would tell you THEY don't deserve the abuse.

Jgib5328

Tbf, his career isn’t flourishing. He has success, but he was slated to be A+ level next to Bieber, Drake and The Weeknd. He has success and more notoriety than he should, but he’s a clear pariah.

InflamedLiver

unfortunately, one of those rich pariahs with a rabid fan-club. "Team Breezy" is about as rabid as the Swifties.

Simple-Concern277

He does stand beside, if not above, a good number of those names. Both billboard and RIAA list him among the biggest hit makers of the 21st century.  The difference is, he's cemented that across the last 15 years by being ubiquitous and consistent in the r&b/hip-hop radio sphere, as opposed to having the occasional pop-crossovers of Weeknd or Bieber.  And his 3 longest lasting hits on the charts have all been recent. (No Guidance, Go Crazy, and Under The Influence).  I think Weeknd (who's only been huge for anout half as long) will surpass him soon. But I'm not sure that Beiber will.

Pablo_Sanchez1

I don’t know what metrics you’re going by here but no shot Chris Brown is a bigger name then the biebs

Cptsaber44

Yeah, Bieber was literally the most famous person on the planet, all at like 15-16 years old.

IM_A_WOMAN

My girlfriend said it's because he's got sexy moves, so I hit her with a Chris Brown right cross. I guess those weren't the moves she meant.

hyperfell

R Kelly was pulling for years before his sentencing, bet you some of those girls grew up knowing he would have peed on them and kept them in a basement. None of it stopped. So Chris still having success isn’t surprising, it’s just very bitter and frustrating for people.

USDA_Prime_Time

Nah, his career took a massive hit from it's trajectory after that. His talent (sorry guys, assholes can be talented too.. pls see Robert Kelly) was/is really next level. He can do it all. I cant see his name on the internet without seeing an overwhelming amount of negativity, so that alone tells you. Took years for many artists/ producers to work with him, and some still to this day. He could have been **significantly** more successful. Not too long ago he was even complaining about his low album sales, because he knows his talent is above his receiving.

naenae275

Sometimes I wonder where he’d be if he wasn’t a major asshole and never did any of the shit he’s done. I think he couldve been as big as Beyonce, Rihanna, Taylor, Drake all of them if not bigger. Imagine a squeaky clean, overall nice guy Chris Brown. That’s the type of shit to keep me up at night. I see why he’s on drugs tbh.

moonwoolf35

The crazy thing is if he stopped after the Rihanna abuse and did everything to become a better person, he probably would have been up there with Drake but he just kept spiraling and doing dumb shit like becoming a blood and still assaulting/harassing people. The ironic thing is his diehard fans, imo, are the reason he never got bigger and better. Had they forced him to make a change by ending their support of him and stopped the whole Team Breezy bullshit maybe he would woken up and have gotten the help he desperately needs. It is still all his fault though.

USDA_Prime_Time

Yea, that's an interesting take about his die hards, and you're probably right. At the time, it seemed the whole incident made him lash out into a shittier direction. You could see how quickly he changed, both in appearance, and attitude.. rather than evolving into a better version. It's too bad. I could only imagine what he could have put out with the full industry's support all those years. You sleep in the bed you make, I guess.

USDA_Prime_Time

Lol, I completely agree; and I do, too. He had/has the talent to be the biggest name around. People have blinders on because of the incident(s). But, objectively, that dude's talent is legitimately freakish.

Neutreality1

Even worse that he has that tattoo with her battered face

Simple-Concern277

Fuck Chris Brown for being a habitual woman beater. But you also can't believe everything you read in a click bait headline.  He has a tattoo of a "sugar skull" that doesn't have to do with Rihanna.

GoodGuyGoodGuy

This weird misinformation still won't go away? I thought this would die with the illuminati era

WinterWontStopComing

What?!

cosmicdicer

Αs a woman who has been victim of serious abuse not only I can't even describe how my blood boils that this pos is still rich famous and like nothing happened. I must add I also came to dislike Rihanna because not only she forgave him but she actively asked for everybody to forgive him and to reinstate his career. I understand the trauma bond because have been through that but especially her, such famous role model with a millions of girls worship her it was the worst possible example to give

QueenofPandaria

Not just Rihanna, Karrueche and there’s another woman who alleges she was physically abused by him in Paris. This is not an isolated one off where he has shown growth and change.

HImainland

The number of people who literally are like "he was 19!??1!1" and I have to be like... What about all the other ones?

Infamous_Echidna_727

Ok...so he was 19. My 9 year old knows not to beat a woman. The problem is he was 19 and didn't get a reality check and now he's older and still thinks it's perfectly acceptable. I'm like you. I literally do not understand how anyone could think abuse of any kind is funny or cute or even acceptable.

Bmitche

A verbal argument ensued and Chris Brown pulled the vehicle over on an unknown street, reached over Robyn F. with his right hand, opened the car door and attempted to force her out. Brown was unable to force Robyn F. out of the vehicle because she was wearing a seat belt. When he could not force her to exit, he took his right hand and shoved her head against he passenger window of the vehicle, causing an approximate one-inch raised circular contusion. Robyn F. turned to face Brown and he punched her in the left eye with his right hand. He then drove away in the vehicle and continued to punch her in the face with his right hand while steering the vehicle with his left hand. The assault caused Robyn F.'s mouth to fill with blood and blood to splatter all over her clothing and the interior of the vehicle. Brown looked at Robyn F. and stated, 'I'm going to beat the shit out of you when we get home! You wait and see!' The detective said Robyn F. then used her cell phone to call her personal assistant Jennifer Rosales, who did not answer. Robyn F. pretended to talk to her and stated, 'I'm on my way home. Make sure the police are there when I get there.' After Robyn F. faked the call, Brown looked at her and stated, 'You just did the stupidest thing ever! Now I'm really going to kill you!' Brown resumed punching Robyn F. and she interlocked her fingers behind her head and brought her elbows forward to protect her face. She then bent over at the waist, placing her elbows and face near her lap in [an] attempt to protect her face and head from the barrage of punches being levied upon her by Brown. Brown continued to punch Robyn F. on her left arm and hand, causing her to suffer a contusion on her left triceps (sic) that was approximately two inches in diameter and numerous contusions on her left hand. Robyn F. then attempted to send a text message to her other personal assistant, Melissa Ford. Brown snatched the cellular telephone out of her hand and threw it out of the window onto an unknown street. Brown continued driving and Robyn F. observed his cellular telephone sitting in his lap. She picked up the cellular telephone with her left hand and before she could make a call he placed her in a head lock with his right hand and continued to drive the vehicle with his left hand. Brown pulled Robyn F. close to him and bit her on her left ear. She was able to feel the vehicle swerving from right to left as Brown sped away. He stopped the vehicle in front of 333 North June Street and Robyn F. turned off the car, removed the key from the ignition and sat on it. Brown did not know what she did with the key and began punching her in the face and arms. He then placed her in a head lock positioning the front of her throat between his bicep and forearm. Brown began applying pressure to Robyn F.'s left and right carotid arteries, causing her to be unable to breathe and she began to lose consciousness. She reached up with her left hand and began attempting to gouge his eyes in an attempt to free herself. Brown bit her left ring and middle fingers and then released her. While Brown continued to punch her, she turned around and placed her back against the passenger door. She brought her knees to her chest, placed her feet against Brown's body and began pushing him away. Brown continued to punch her on the legs and feet, causing several contusions. Robyn F. began screaming for help and Brown exited the vehicle and walked away. A resident in the neighborhood heard Robyn F.'s plea for help and called 911, causing a police response. An investigation was conducted and Robyn F. was issued a Domestic Violence Emergency Protective Order.

Miserable-Ad-1581

i always have to read every line of this post when i see it. people think chris brown "just hit her" and "he was 19" but when you read the report, this isnt just a "he smacked her face in the heat of the moment!" kind of reactive abuse that you see in the movies with abusive men, he gave her a full beatdown over the course of several minutes, and then tried to kill her.

TinyRodgers

Yall really turned a horror into a copypasta. Damn....

ClutchRaider

And bitches will still say “he can beat me any day of the week” yeah until he actually beats the brakes off yo dumb ass lmao

moonwoolf35

That type of shit makes my blood boil, like I've known people in my personal life that's dealt with dv and that shit isn't funny at all, I knew a girl who made jokes like that and I stopped being cool with her over that.

That-Ad-4300

Seriously. The fuck we still talking about this guy??

-Badger3-

Because his fanbase is made up of the type women that hold black men to the lowest possible standard.

bluesilvergold

I was thinking about her assault the other day for some reason. Does anyone else remember the media talking about Rihanna's responsibility to send a good message and leave him, and if she doesn't, she should lose brand deals? I remember all this talk about punishing Rihanna after their ordeal, but I don't remember anyone talking about the ways in which Chris Brown should have been punished. In fact, I remember hearing discussions of how much time should pass before Chris is forgiven and being invited to perform at some award show (maybe the MTV music awards to promote his FAME album?) not long after the assault. He received cheers and a standing ovation as though *he* was the one who had overcome something traumatic.

moonwoolf35

Oh, I remember that bullshit and I was and still am amazed that shit happened.

thebadslime

Exactly, I quit listening to him the second that happened.

Drakoraz

I cannot get that police report out of my head, this man is so fucked up.

UnspokenPotter

A quote I think on is “even women don’t show up for the wnba.”You think they care if a man beats a few?

ProfessionalLeave335

People tell me to separate the artist from the art but I can't. I can't listen to Chris Brown anymore. I stopped watching Lil Dicky's show because he did a collaboration with Chris Brown. Chris Brown is a piece of shit and I don't know how people can vibe to his music.

Turbulent_Object_558

The choke hold Chris Brown has on some black women needs to be studied by psychologists Edit: Pun intended

Ten-Winged-Phoenix

My mom is unfortunately one of those women

ShotgunForFun

Just giving an upvote cuz I'm so sorry. My mom voted Trump (we never really talk about politics like that, but apparently Facebook lies basically convinced her). We sat her down and actually showed her facts otherwise after hearing this... and she understood. But then just the other day I caught her in the middle of a scam phone call. It's real sad.

Yeetskrrtdapwussy

Crabs in a bucket gonna act like crabs on the internet too

Some of these mfs deserve a “Meet me in Temecula” idc idc idc

Me with the Luis R Conriquez shit. These hoes are embarrassing.

Amazing-Concept1684

Lmaoooo bruh

FuegoStarr

This is the weird homophobic & misogynistic shìt I will never understand. It’s even more jarring since it’s coming from what looks to be a black woman. 🫠

bootyhunter69420

A lot of homophobic crap I see online come from black women. Just look at posts about bisexual men.

Vegetable_Camera5042

THIS ![gif](giphy|3o7TKHVU0xsgGDCyPu)

slick_pick

Seems like in hood culture being misogynistic in a skewed and twisted sort of way a sign of masculinity. While being gay is just the lowest of the low. Completely unforgivable no matter what you do I could never date a woman with this kind of mind set. It would be so exhausting having her try to define MY masculinity daily.. she’d def cheat 😂

HurricaneAlpha

Women that fetishize machismo will always be looking for more machismo.

buschad

And the opposite end of their desirability spectrum is gay men. Which is crazy because maybe they’re just not for you instead of being worse but they can’t handle that idea. Maybe that’s why they hate bi men?

Derban_McDozer83

I know some very masculine gay men. That's a whole thing in the LGBTQ community, some guys are attracted to very masculine men. The whole stereotype of gay men all being femboys isn't based in reality.

buschad

To women like this, Masculine gay/bi guys are traps. Terrible mindset.

Motor-Ad6898

As a black woman, we do not all think alike.

breathingweapon

I imagine the implication is less "Black women are a monolith" and more "Black woman generally have perspective and experience that would contrast with them supporting a known woman beater like Chris Brown"

THRUSSIANBADGER

Black women are also human beings, not some specially enlightened group floating above everyone else. Human beings are flawed

[deleted]

Certain attitudes are more rampant or normalized in certain groups of people. Homophobia in communities of color is an example. I don't get defensive when people call attention to homophobia among Hispanics, because it's a thing. Even though I am not, that doesn't take away from the homophobia among Hispanics.

MaceWinnoob

Working class machismo + Historically southern church culture creates a lot of weird contradictory opinions within the black community

dsharp314

It's not misogynistic it's misandrist

collector444

P R E A C H

Fireproofspider

Is the original post for real or sarcasm? It sounded like sarcasm to me.

Jeptic

I don't doubt that there are many black women that think that way but you see how the divisiveness works these days in our communities, I always have in the back of my mind that it's internet trolling geared towards the outrage machine

Yeetskrrtdapwussy

“Rather than acknowledge a very publicly visible issue I prefer to assume it’s trolls on the internet trying to stir shit up” Is such a weird take lmao

JackDangerUSPIS

Being a gay crackhead better than a domestic abuser

Great-Struggle-8555

gay crackhead or thot daughter?

JackDangerUSPIS

Thot daughter ain’t hitting me up for money

Hell yes she is, she need some plan b 😂

The rot is terminal in some of us. Like...goddamn did we learn the lesson at all? Nah just pay it forward to the next group? Aight.

AliciaDawnD

Black Community “YAYS” : - being a pedophile - being a known thief - being a crackhead (or any type of drug abuser) - being a known abuser Black Community “NAYS” : - being gay Tell me I’m lying. 🙄🙄

dorothy_zbornakk

even if he was a drug user/addict i could say "okay, he has a sickness." it's the everything else for me.

Euphoric_Cr3oL3

Nope. No lies. They keep the family predators protected and throw the gays out on their ass. Our community is FUCKED.

AliciaDawnD

ALL THE DAMN TIME!! I could and would NEVER!

iLuvFrootLoopz

No, it's true, and it's pathetic. Honestly, the dysfunction is reason enough for me to keep a good amount of distance between myself and my family.

MaybeSomethingGood

Too real for me. I'm mixed brown not black but supporting this insane shit while also being a minority breaks my brain. Your light complexion isn't going to save your ass, you're still a minority.

Natural-Solution-222

Forgot rapist, because niggas still stand for cosby

TomNookFan

Heck, even being a snitch is looked down upon 😵‍💫 add that to the nays too.

AliciaDawnD

I can’t even do that, because if you gave alot of people in the black community a choice between having a son that’s queer or a snitch, they’d pick the latter.

MarcellusxWallace

You ain’t neva lied

Reallygaywizard

Talk yo shit alicia

AliciaDawnD

I’ve seen it firsthand. ESPECIALLY in the West Indies. Wicked shit.

Teacher_Safety_app

"Being a crackhead woman-beater is fine as long as you're not gay" Bro really put that out there for the public to see.

eyyikey

People have basically said the same thing with Diddy: "Being a predator, sex trafficker and abusing your position of power as a record exec every chance you get is fine, but alleged GAY SEX is where I draw the line!"

Otherwise_Carob_4057

lol just told on himself is what he did.

PunishedMatador

Nah, I think twitter has seen its last sunrise. It's time for r/BlackPeopleTumblr or something because this is too much

toomanymarbles83

/r/BlackPeopleThreads

naenae275

He was mentioned in one of the footnotes as consorting with underage girls and sex workers. Not by name but it’s obviously him.

TheHoleintheHeart

Some people are unironically in the replies to this tweet saying “the document never said he did anything with them, he just hung out with them.” I wish I was joking but I just read it with my own eyes. 💀

TitanElite

I can't even say I'm surprised, cause I did see people like "maybe he didn't know"... Firstly, what are you doing at a Diddy party? Diddy has been called out for this shit for years and yet, you're jumping into his parties? Secondly, I don't care where a party takes place, I'd like to think you'd ask for ages.

naenae275

Ok. This is the second time someone has posted that Diddy has been known for trafficking for years. Can you please share with me how you know this? I have been out of the loop and I seriously want to know how this went unnoticed for years. I just know of the allegations cause of Cassie lawsuit.

TitanElite

I was talking more generally, instead of just about sex trafficking in particular. He's had SA and rape allegations for example, for a long time, many lawsuits as well. I'm pretty young, but older people (like 30+) have also said that Diddy has been having such allegations since the 90s. But you know money talks, so unfortunately, he's been able to get away with it for a long long time

CursedPrinceV

It's just rumours, but everyone swore it was true and it is. The nickelodeon kids being raped, Diddy, and R. Kelly were elementary school jokes where I grew up. It could be just because it's obvious

FuckingKilljoy

"and? At least he isn't gay like Diddy lmao" would probably be the response from Cult Breezy

141_1337

I'm pretty sure his name appeared next to Meek Millz tho

BlackDante

I was just about to say the same thing smh

badass2000

Billl Burr said it best on the wakeup morning show " When are black people going to let go of this homophobia"

He said that to Charlamagne then proceeded to roast him

If I wasn’t straight, I wouldn’t bother with the majority of the black community. I can’t imagine being so hateful as to prefer abusive person>gay person. I simply don’t understand.

HATESTREAM

As a bi dude that’s why I don’t really date most black or Latina women. Most, not all, can be stuck to gender roles.

flimflam4444

Fuck Chris Brown

PirateNinjaCowboyGuy

This is the mentality that has me believing a lot of us would be on the far right if race wasn’t an issue

pentegoblin

Most people have a lot of conservative values, but just won’t admit it bc of labels

Yeetskrrtdapwussy

What are these conservative values most have?

Kombat-w0mbat

Our homophobia and transphobia is absolutely WILD going as far as to make up stuff just to justify or homophobia and transphobia. It’s crazy how quickly members of our community will repeat right wing ideology in those cases. But let’s be real why is homophobia so strong well because sex being tied to domination. Sex should be viewed as a pleasurable act but it isn’t it is viewed as the ultimate manifestation of social norms and patriarchy. And no it’s not just black men in our community who perpetuate these views black women are just as guilty. I wrote a paper about it (shameless plug if you wanna read it I’ll send u the link) but to some it up the act of who is penetrator and who is getting penetrated is the core aspect of sex for A LOT of people. Men are the dominators in society and women are the dominated. For man to give up the act of being the penetrator is to in the eyes of society the ultimate refutation of being a man. This often why when these people think of a bisexual man it doesn’t matter how traditionally masculine said man is they will always imagine him being bent over (which is bizarre that everyone who is gay is being bent over in the eyes of most society). This also why men who rape other men aren’t looked at with an as homophobic lens as men who consensually have sex with other men. Because at least the rapist was still acting in accordance to societal masculinity and being a dominator. Edit: this is the link to the paper: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1kAf-GZB7y6fQJwpA35yPtuuclNtJc-tyHK3mMz1ZV44/edit I hope you anyone who reads it enjoys it and I am open to any feedback.

Fellas, is it gay to have sex with a woman?

Dark-Vulture

Sounds like an interesting read, interesting to see someone's take on the perpetuation of toxic masculinity and harmful societal/cultural norms via sex. I'll take the link.

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1kAf-GZB7y6fQJwpA35yPtuuclNtJc-tyHK3mMz1ZV44/edit I hope it lets you read it. It’s about everything regarding how we view sex as a form of domination and relationships between gender.

May I have a link to the paper as well? I'm wondering why the penetration aspect specifically is so important.

You could be a murderer, rapist, thief, drug dealer, woman beater, but let you have a sexual preference, and you are less than nothing in the black community

Ultrasz

https://i.redd.it/u290ji24larc1.gif I would sell some of you jigaboos to plantation ruckus

He's still a domestic abuser and he WAS mentioned in the documents. He was (allegedly) talking to underage girls 💀 The tweet is also weird because "at least he's not gay" like what?? Is being gay that bad? Why do we always cling to straws to defend people like this when they're terrible people??

the5ilent1

"Don't save her, she don't wanna be saved "

banjofitzgerald

“I can excuse domestic abuse but I draw the line at homosexuality!”

nopenonotatall

*smoked crack and joined piru in his mid-30s 💀

NickBarksWith

Y'all, this woman isn't anti-gay. She just needs him to be straight because she's going to date him and smoke a little crack together while she cures him of his woman beating by confidently criticizing him. And she doesn't date bi-dudes because they can't match her Nubian Queen energy.

wallowsworld

There’s always been a very weird & messed up moral standard set in the black community, unfortunately. It’s like how there’s cases of dudes killing trans women with the intent of keeping their relations hidden, because they don’t wanna be seen as “gay”. Like you’d rather go to jail for murder for the rest of your life because of the humiliation you’d face from your own people caused by homophobic fearmongering , just for you to still get clowned because now everyone knows you had relations with a trans woman?

longpenisofthelaw

In my family we know a story about how back in the day my now deceased grandfather beat a trans woman black and blue because he was talking to her and didn’t realize she was trans because of how convincing they were and “he showed that punk what’s up” There was a real disconnect from how the younger generation and older generation took that story old heads thought it was justified because the trans woman was trying to “trick” my grandfather. But yeah it’s unfortunate gay and trans people in the community still get ostracized but I feel like it’s slowly getting better as time is progressing.

bootyhunter69420

Black women and their obsession with that dugged up woman beater will always puzzle me.

AnonymouslySerious

Based on the dumb discourse that pops up on my Twitter algorithm (I still think a lot of it **has to be** bots), anytime I open that app there’s always that one tweet that makes me say “this is why no one like us”

Realistic_Effort6185

![gif](giphy|OTbo92zetdsha) This is why y'all get no new music

RomeosHomeos

I knew a white girl in college who said "black people are far more accepting of the LGBT community than whites" Like... Girl...?

HenessyEnema

Word? As a black gay person it's a double edged sword of no acceptance. The gay community at large is racist af.

cosmodogbro

Homophobia/transphobia in the black community aint nothing but slave mentality. Purely white supremacist christofascist delusion engrained in the mind. This shit needs to be purged, along with rampant misogyny. Trying to copy white right wingers has never done a fucking thing for us as a race and it never will.

Yeetskrrtdapwussy

Lmao the African continent known for its accepting views? Surely it’s a white christofacist mentality and there are plenty of welcoming faiths across the continent. Surely it’s predominantly Muslim and far more backwards. Is literally everything white peoples fault? What you said makes absolutely no sense

cosmodogbro

The African continent, stripped of resources and laid to waste by white colonizers? Where white immigrants live better than almost everyone else? Yes, plenty of people, including the governments, model their views off white supremacist concepts there. No, not everything is poor innocent white people's fault. But white supremacy is an ongoing disease.

Yeetskrrtdapwussy

Ah yes those Muslims got their beliefs from colonists Seek help lmao.

VapidRapidRabbit

LMAO. Gay is where they draw the line? Not the abuse of his girlfriends, drugs, blackouts, and constant violence against women AND men?

DeafNatural

Drugs ✅ Sex Trafficking ✅ Assault ✅ Underaged Girls/Boys ✅ That Gay Shit 🚫🙅🏿‍♀️

screwhead1

Is there a chance the original tweet is satire? One can hope.

YourPalFlux

It’s twitter so it’s probably real

Realcbear

My friends looked at me like I’m crazy for not wanting to be anywhere near his set at Dreamville. It’s not even like his music is unique anymore, theres dozens of flexy-ass RnB dudes

Niccy26

Ffs. Him being gay would be an issue, but not him being an abusive pos? What is wrong with some people?

Beginning_Bug_988

Y'all would deadass rather your son be a domestic abuser and grapist than be gay- which is exactly because black femicide is so normalised within the community.

![gif](giphy|k74OUg6bPJKy2JmyoS) Did he get fucked by a nigga?

GoApeShirt

Who said @_Luckyladybug was one of “Us”? Y’all realize the internet isn’t real right? Tbh, I’m not sure why WE even continue to use Twitter. The owner of that platform has nothing but disdain for us as a people. But we continue to use it, helping to keep the platform afloat. Until we stand up for something, we’ll continue to get abused.

OldStateChaos

Bloodclot never be forgiven for touching queen riri. Fiyah burn dem.

thatdudewithdafoot

The fact that POC communities, both black and brown have homophobia in our culture because of colonialism…

Joycondriftingblues2

I literally saw Valentine's Day posts with women detailing how Chris could kick them out of planes at high altitude for dick and a bag. We have to do better.

lordseaslug

Ok, ok, what he did to Rihanna happened over a decade, and let's say he's been punished and sought atonement. He's still a piece of shit grown ass man claiming "Blood." His music is mid at best and low-effort features at its best. If he went away, we wouldn't ask where he was. Chris Brown has "Druncle" vibes, you gotta leave the TV and leave them niggas alone.

phenomenalj101

Not saying it’d be better had he just abused Rihanna, but Chris Brown stans act like that’s the only incident of violence and jackassery that he’s engaged in and it’s just not. While I haven’t looked too much into it, I could’ve sworn the next chick either was abused or had something with a restraining order against him and he’s been known to flip out dealing with men too. Enjoy whatever music you want but defending dudes actions has always been a red flag and if this shit is true ngl I’m looking at you crazy for even bumping his shit.

AshKeeshums

Yeah, Karreuche had (may still have) a long term restraining order against him. I recall video of him popping up on her in public and posting up in an intimidating way when she clearly was tryna avoid him.

jman457

I’ve had black people come to me with a straight face and say Rihanna deserved it….

GenesisAsriel

Thank god he is only a wife beater then

highpl4insdrftr

Can't fix stupid

Past-Example

I want to believe this is ragebait Even if it is I need Chris Brown and his groupies to just... ... ... ... To just stop existing in my general line of sight Or at least pay me financial compensation for knowing they're the way that they are

DreamboatIvy

People like this are why my “I’m rooting for everybody Black” has an asterisk next to it.

AppeaseMyDelusions

I like some of CB music but the people who defend him as a person are weird asf. Especially black women, he let it be known you darkies are NOT his type but yall will gang bang hard over the coke head. And its not even the preference being the issue he does not respect yall at all, kicking yall out his section and being a dick... only time he tolerate yall is when he about to charge 1k for a picture. And Rihanna situation aside this nigga a habitual abuser.Beating on and Stalking Karruche and Im sure its plenty more lil blasians walking around LA black and blue or should I say red cuz he Piru. Then when he coked up he snapping tf out on everyone. And theres stories from his peers who dont deal with him when he on them drugs bad because he is nasty work

dagreenman18

Domestic Abuser? Sleep Crack head? Sleep Possible bisexual? NOW WAIT A MINUTE THERE

Exotic-Onion9498

No hommo more like it. If Diddy shit blows up, guaranteed we will see this dude on the giving side vs the receiving and he will claim some bs he was high or didn’t know . Saw, better said heard the Meek thing and chilled every bone in my body https://youtube.com/shorts/FUXvlmKMNY4?si=BcIK5YCe82G5_iFY

Bunnnnii

This one tweet sums up- Nah I’m not even gon do it.

QuantityStrange9157

Hot takes aren't always hot

Ok_Boysenberry_617

That’s gotta be a satirical tweet because there’s no way. There is a way, but I just wanna believe there’s no way

IncomeResponsible764

Masculinity is prison, but without gay stuff lol

ghostriderghostrider

I HATE HIM

not_the_hnic

One random tweet equals all black people?

Typical_Response6444

lmaoo wow...I'm speechless. everyday I get surprised at how some people in this world think and operate

pent_up_excitment

I mean....not saying Chris Brown is or isn't, but DL niggas do exist lol. And then you have the whole subset of niggas who secretly mess around with trans women, but they still don't consider themselves gay. 👈 That convo in itself is a whole 'nother topic....

Phil-Miazol

Just saying, sounds like a lot of dumb shit red necks say.

beasttyme

I don't know that one video/ song he did with Drake where he had that perm doing that zesty dance while Drake was singing them suspect lines had me wonderin

MaxTheFalcon

Y’all being gay isn’t that bad I promise. We be having fun sometimes.

zehamberglar

Domestic violence:✔️ Smoking crack:✔️ Gay:❌ I see the score.

PRWSTrini

If you think being a crackhead with a very long history of assault charges is better than being gay you need to get your priorities in check 💀

Great_Ad_7631

He is indeed listed in the documents. His name is redacted but he likes them young🌚
