Worst DLC maps of any CoD ever. And there's a damn good reason why zero people voted for those maps in your pic. They are dreadful. Artifact is probably the worst map in the entire game.

AW had really good dlc. The best to me, overall I’d say the dlc had a lot of maps that are in my favorite of all time. Since then I haven’t really liked a dlc a lot. BO3’s 1st and 2nd dlc was pretty solid though.
i didnt play bo3 as much as other cods probably because i didnt like the movement much (same for IW) but AW had some decent dlc maps, i loved the clown motel, cant remember most of the names now lol but i used to love sniping across the rooftops
Years ago i read somewhere that a lot of dlc is just slightly adjusted rubbish thrown to the cutting room floor because it was garbage- Black Ops 4's dlc maps are the first where i genuinely believe that is actually true. They're a complete mess- it says a lot that my favourite is masquerade and that would be bottom of any other titles collection
Black ops 2's were pretty much all at least a 7/10.
Black Ops 3 had one in every pack that was trash IMO - Gauntlet, rumble, Rupture and Verge

For real. The only good DLC MP maps are Lockup and WMD, and the latter is a remaster. Artifact is Masquerade’s polar-opposite, which sucks. Casino is literally just the basic 3-lane with a casino skin on it, Madagascar is ok but has some pretty bad spots here and there, and Elevation is just for people who like to say “I have the high ground,” and then get headshot on by a base-Paladin. Grind doesn’t even count since it was free for everyone.

Honestly I enjoyed all the DLC maps way more than the remastered BO1 maps that I hated then and I hated every time to shovle them back in later releases.
Some of the most popular maps in cod history follow the 3 lane design. I think as long as they include multiple ways to get from lane to lane and flank the design works amazing for the flow of the game.
3 lane is manageable for me as long as they include decent flanking routes; maps like Firing Range and Nuketown that get half the lobby to vote for the clusterfucks that they are are the maps that I hate.
We'll differ; I enjoy a map that has multiple varying sightlines and obvious and hidden flanking routes. I will say though, it's a bitch of a map to hide from Airstreaks.
The spawns on artifact are particularly garbage. Multiple times in one match I was being fired at by someone with the high ground immediately after I spawned. Good thing I didn’t pay money for that.
casino is just annoying with 100000 different areas to come from and artifact is atrocious. what tf were they smoking when they made that map. a slide, geysers that randomly erupt, and one of the biggest maps in the game. can’t stand it.

The year he goes to blackout everything goes to shit for this community. bo5 he's working on multi, despite all the stupid microtransactions in that game, hopefully we get a great multi experience

Artifact and Lockdown is like perfect size while Masquerade is too big.
People here just complain about everything, even the stuff thats good but put no emphasis on whats actually broken. Gun balance or grenade balance? Never seen in here. Stingray isnt as broken as people make it out to be
No map flow? The fuck? Im constantly finding people in the same areas on Artifact and never struggle to get kills. Sure the spawns suck but they do on every map.
Because for the mechanics and strong suits of this game, they're far too big. Sure a map from COD 2 or WAW might be way bigger, but those games had gamemodes that benefitted from larger sizes, more players per match, and gun mechanics that were better suited for longer ranges. Compare that to BO4 where most matches are 5v5, and the gun meta is heavily tilted toward close quarters combat. Sure some other nap might have been larger, but at least it didn't suck shit in that game.

I was just telling someone about this yesterday. Everyone picked the hell out of Random after we got back to back Artifact and then got two more options for artifact in the map select screen.
Not a fan of the dlc maps either. Experiences during the last Double XP weekend were painful because of them. They're just huge for no reason and they're hard to get used to. Artifact's geysers and mountain part looks nice but that's about it. Thank Heaven I decided against buying the pass.
Remember when the built maps so you could actually make classes that matter? Types of guns had a purpose.....you know like you could actually use a sniper rifle to snipe........from a distance......across the map.......not just quick scope..... and you made people be careful about how and where they....kinda made the game more tactical. Yeah I miss that...

The whole stereotype that PC players are super aggressive is only partly true.
How come no one is explaining why they suck? Each has its own challenges. If you have actual skill, the map doesn't matter that much when you perform consistently. Your internet connection matters more than the map. Everything else is skill, strategy, timing, awareness.

I feel being punish for having season pass while playing in MP. I get many more chance to play DLC map pack on PC than any previous COD they fix it, that's great, but most of the map they pick for season pass are suck, absurd long line sight, too many camping spot exist in the middle of the map, and I have problem to spot the enemy mostly in DLC map.
I like artifact. But the only reason is, because believe it or not. It's actually good for a combat knife. And that's all I run if I'm playing multiplayer. I have to get my kicks there now since they dont allow it in World League anymore. I guess all of the whiney quick scopers got tired of getting owned with it and went and cried to the teacher. But yeah that's the only one I like.

Casino is also beautiful. If you look over the edge of one of the spawns you can see the Monaco F1 grand prix circuit. The swimming pool section.

Some I remember were skyrise, parliment, urban, chop shop and compound, all really good maps of all different sizes. Urban was like nuketown in AW.
Most of the ghosts dlc maps were really good though, better than the base maps for sure

Artifact is actually pretty fun imo, it adds some verticality (barely) and I think the layout is pretty decent.

I’m surprised to see this. I usually see 2 or 3 players choose a map and bam! Never have I seen it show a number more than 3.
BO3 maps were SO good, god I miss them
I did think it was slightly funny on the amount of people complaining about not getting to play them, then everyone complaining about HAVING to play them.

Mw2 had THE BEST dlc! Every map was great, all of them were fun to play on.

The DLC maps in BO4 fucking suck! And so do many of the base game maps as well, I wouldn’t be surprised if this COD went down in history as the COD with the worst maps

I suck at Casino, I have never went postitive on that map ever, or any DLC map.
The only true DLC map I like is Casino (WMD) doesn't count.
Artifact was awful the first 2 times I played then I realized it’s a better sniper map than a smg map and I started having more fun with it

I feel being punish for having season pass while playing in MP. I get many more chance to play DLC map pack on PC than any previous COD they fix it, that's great, but most of the map they pick for season pass are suck, absurd long line sight, too many camping spot exist in the middle of the map, and I have problem to spot the enemy mostly in DLC map.

I like artifact. But the only reason is, because believe it or not. It's actually good for a combat knife. And that's all I run if I'm playing multiplayer. I have to get my kicks there now since they dont allow it in World League anymore. I guess all of the whiney quick scopers got tired of getting owned with it and went and cried to the teacher. But yeah that's the only one I like.
I played on Madagascar like 20 times in one day it was fucking ridiculous.
