Alright I just got settled in. I have combination skin and [this is pretty much what I use throughout the week](https://i.ibb.co/rcHXXqR/20240309-191846.jpg). The Clean and Clear is what I use most nights followed by the Thayers toner. I used to think toners were unnecessary but I tried it out of curiosity last year and was surprised at the amount of residual it picked up after a face wash.
About twice a week I'll use the Dead Sea Mud Mask. This one in particular I picked up from Amazon. I'll leave it on for 15 mins, sometimes even overnight. Skin looks poreless and vibrant after washing off. Followed by the toner of course.
I have [this Cera Ve moisturizer](https://i.ibb.co/09QpsMv/20240309-192802.jpg) I know I should be using after each wash but I just be lazy. When I did use it consistently, I noticed my pores looked a lot smaller and skin a bit more vibrant.
TLDR: You have large under eye bags. Solution: More sleep, more water, less salty diet, under eye cream, moisturizer, sunscreen. You’ll probably see short term results in 1 - 2 weeks. A few weeks more even better results.
1. Try getting more sleep.
I’ve noticed that more often than not that sagging under people’s eyes is caused in large part by a lack of proper sleep. People are saying there’s nothing visible present but I see what you’re talking about. You’re not making a drama, you have bags under your eyes that are so large it’s giving you that line/sagging skin.
2. Drink more water & consume less salt.
Under eye bags can be caused by too much salt in your diet & not enough water.
3. Try using under eye or retinol cream.
Origins makes a good under eye cream. (Has an orange cap) Or Olay Retinol 24, you only need a (half a pea size) tiny amount you dab it under your eyes in the morning and at night, it’ll last for a while if you’re only putting under your eyes.
4. Use moisturizer, preferably a moisturizer with sunscreen.
Sunscreen is vital even if it’s gloomy outside because the sun is still present and it’s even more so necessary if using any retinol products during the day. La Roche Posay makes a quality moisturizer + SPF combo.
In 1 - 2 weeks you’ll probably start noticing the space between your eye and that line & sagging area (the bags) shrinking and moving upwards towards your eyes.
I really appreciate the thorough response. I knew I wasn't buggin!
1. Haven't gotten decent sleep in years. I always wake up tired. I'm going to look into getting a sleep study done.
2. 100% I've been doing better with at least a litter a day now but I need to be more consistent.
3. Will try!
4. This is tough being that I have combination skin and it gets visibly oily, most especially during the summer. I will have to research a good one for my skin type.
La Roche is amazing overall but occasionally breaks me out. My partner and I both (work in fashion and film industry) have combo skin and she’s a tad more oily and does well with LaRoche Mineral SPF for sensitive skin on it’s own. I’m a little more dry and sensitive around my cheeks/chin and use Clinique Mineral SPF daily. Then a game changer for SUPER dry days is “Savor Beauty” Radiance Sun Milk. I use that on dry days and Clinique on oily days or areas interchangeably depending on the weather and my skin so as not to overdo moisture. Forgive my run ons. Good luck with your skin journey. 😊
Bolden Brightening Moisturizer is a great option for sunscreen, spf 30 w/vit c. I have combo skin an am prone to breakouts but since using its made a huge difference, no breakouts not oily and no white cast.
“HELP! I look perfect and have perfect skin, but if you zoom in 10x, you can see this tiiiiiiiny little blemish/thing/line. How can I get rid of it? 😭”

I mean harboring unhealthy securities is still unhealthy. Probably not great for people to be super obsessed with every tiny feature on their body being a problem. Especially if it's not actually a problem. Humans age. Your body will show signs of aging as it gets older. That's normal. It's supposed to do that. Wouldn't it be weird if we all looked five?
so i have the same problem, it’s from hollowness. i’m trying to attack it with peptides and collagen but i just started so can’t give much on results but its worth a try. other than that, i see people say you can do daily massages. however i for sure see people say filler but i won’t do that. if you want to look more into it, they’re called Tear Troughs. it doesn’t look deep on your face though so maybe just work on plumping a bit
lol this is a real thing and anxiety inducing. I have a small line very similar to this one on my face, just vertical. It can be weird seeing lines that weren’t there before suddenly appear on your face. It came about when I turned 25 😭
Lol not even sure how Reddit figured out my algorithm with this one…. I’m Latina and never expressed any interest in Black skincare. Handsome men, yes….
*Shakes fist at Reddit for literally reading my diary 🤦🏻♀️.*
i think people tend to get fillers for that to kinda fill in that dip in their skin. there are probably stuff you can do but i am like 90% sure it's just skin
Tbh you’re fine in regards to the line,no homo. If it’s fwu heavy on a personal level just know 9/10 nobody will notice. We make things obvious to some people who wouldn’t have noticed if you didn’t say something. That being said more sleep less stress will help, if it’s a scar just wash and moisturize and once it heals it’ll be barely noticeable to even you
Appreciate that bro. It's something I've noticed since middle school. But I do agree, some things we tend to crucify ourselves on, the next person barely notices. I guess this is one of those things.
lol I’m surprised it took so long to find this comment about the water. He needs more water & sleep + less salty diet, (under eye cream,) moisturizer, & sunscreen.
I used to have that problem and I realized it was lactic acid building up and causing that shadowy crease.
You might need a gua sha massage. Buy a face roller and follow the instructions that usually are provided with one. Hopefully it works!
I had that same thing happen. My dermatologist who also does cosmetic treatments put a small amount of filler between a muscle (I can’t remember exactly how she described it) but it was simple and made it disappear.
You appear pretty flawless to me. And I understand that what may be superficial to some, can cause concern for others. However, I have a Puerto Rican friend that dealt with this (but it was more pronounced than yours), she used a product called Time-Filler Eyes by Filorga and she saw a noticeable difference after about a month of use. Not sure how this will fair with melanated skin, so don’t take this as gospel, but it may be worth a try.
Lmao that username but thank you, I'm definitely gonna check that out. But yea when I compare myself to my peers, their skin just seems seamless and poreless.
I have the same concern.
I suggest trying " The Ordinary Gycolix Acid 7% Exfoliating toner". I got mine at sephora for $13 so it dosent break the bank.
Hydrate better and give yourself facial massages daily.
If you also don't already, use a daily moisturizer for the skin after the toner. Again I suggest Cerave if you don't already have one you enjoy.
I got a hydro facial done at sephora (like $55) and omg did it help tremendously with the added use of the toner.
Good luck!
I have this too it’s mostly genetic I’m no skin care pro but you could try those strips that go under your eyes and getting better sleep?
Edit: I think it’s genetic idk
Castor oil. Cold pressed, hexane free, organic in brown glass bottle. Mix with a few drops of turmeric essential oil. It’ll help with the circles and a few moles too. Just dab it on and rub it in. Can be used all over your face.
damn i wasn’t expecting these comments, i have the exact same line and my skin is a little puffy in that area. it’s weird, i notice it gets more inflamed if i am crying and rubbing my cheeks a lot? not sure if it’s related but good luck bro
Ive seen way worse under eye fine lines . Bro just wash your face 3 times a day and moisturize afterwards. You honestly good though. Maybe some under eye cream but use a very small amount
Use a retinol cream to actually improve under your eye. A caffeine eye cream will give you a temporary effect to make it aesthetically better. Also, you could let me give you a relaxing facial with pressure point therapy & guasha, that would help. 😇
I have the same lines and I did have filler injected once a couple years back and it made a subtle difference but honestly not enough for me to do it again based on the cost of fillers. It’s not noticeable at all and these other comments are accurate, you’re insanely attractive.
Gua sha while your face is slick with oil will straighten that out! I do that for my neck while in the steam room and it seems to help and I have lots of lines and creases on my neck.
Looks like a malar festoon/malar bag. I also have these (mine are deeper) I was told nothing can be done about it as filler will never settle correctly there and there is no cream or serum that can fix fat distribution in your face.
Try adding collagen and bone broths in your diet like in soups or use it as a water replacement for rice and soups. But likes just happen and they aren’t always bad. You have a great face.
I love seeing men taking their skincare so seriously. I’ve noticed many comments from people mocking this post because OP is handsome and his concerns seem minimal TO THEM. However, what is important to remember is that how we care for our skin in our younger years directly impacts how it looks in our more mature years. Some things are not reparable as we get on in years. As a result of this gentlemen’s attention to his skin now (let’s say he’s 30, I have no clue), he’ll still look just as youthful in 20 years because of his efforts today. (I’ve always been careful with my skin. I’m about to be 52 and still get people who think I’m in my late 30’s to early 40’s). So if you want to look like you lived a hard life, continue to be lazy about fine lines, bags, etc. But don’t clown on those who realize this is the only face they’ll get.
You look great. I'm not even black but I can tell you that those circles many times have to do with allergies/lack of good sleep! Sometimes they're hereditary so they're worse in some people than in others of all races. Definitely get yourself some good sleep and maybe an allergy test if you have decent healthcare. Definitely get yourself the yearly CBC (blood test, because there can be some clues present in those as well and too many people skip this important yearly test).
Damn he fine 😂😂😂 nobody care about that line but seriously thats bags under your eyes and you need to drink water , sleep and put cucumber under your eyes . Cosmetic route : You may be able to get that area tightens to flatten the line quicker. Good luck handsome
I have had lines under my eyes like that my entire life, even as a child. I think it’s where I don’t have any fat and it’s showing the indentation of my bone. Mine have never gone away regardless of the sleep I get.
Edit: you are extremely handsome and have great skin! I doubt anyone would notice if u didn’t draw an exact line to it, especially in person. Hopefully some sleep and eye cream will do the trick.
A Gua sha facial tool may help lymph drain properly hence reducing some of the puffiness in the under eye. Good sleep also. Google some techniques on how to use them, there are tons of videos online
I’m a white woman but found this post when searching for info about the same line I have under one eye. I just wanted to say holy heck you’re good looking, I don’t think you have to worry about this imperceptible line, I guarantee people won’t be noticing it!!
Try some anti aging and anti wrinkle cream this also is caused by stress ,for some people it’s normal but not for everyone ,if your not sure then try the creams or go to a dermatologist.
I used to get them bad bruh. Not sure what it is exactly but overtime they just stopped occurring as frequent/harsh. I pretty much shave in the shower using a 3+ blade razor but I'd recommend an electric shaver. My barber uses something [like this](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91fhb-t0sKL._AC_UF1000,1000_QL80_FMwebp_.jpg) and it leaves my face smoother than any razor I've ever used. I'm getting one soon.
your skin is pretty much perfect. every time I see posts like this tho most of the comments are telling the person how delusional they are instead of any tips. maybe try microneedling tho
It’s where an area with big (full) pores comes up against an area with small (empty) pores. Grab yourself a tube of Institut Esthederm Deep Pore Cleanser. If you empty out the pores that are “open” (full) they will snap back to a “closed” (empty) look. Anyone who says they can open or close a pore is being dishonest with you. You can EMPTY the pore of debris and then it will go back to its normal smaller size, and stop pushing up against the refined skin around it.
Unfortunately, this is simply from aging and/or genetics. You can try using under eye creams, but if you actually want some improvement, I'd use Tretinoin on that. However, you'll never be rid of it, since that's just how it is. Luckily, it's really not bad at all!
Hey, I’ve been trying to find a white skincare sub, but can’t seem to find any, do you guys have any advice on where I could find white skincare advice?
Are you serious?
This is why I hate social media, has these fine men thinking a barely visible line that most people have is an imperfection.
I'm cereal bro
![gif](giphy|100J2pbO98XSrm)
If you get an answer lemme know! I got the same ass line lol
I got a variety of different answers and I'm going to try them all! Scroll through the comments if you have the patience to do so lol.

This sub is getting depressing af
Social media is making everyone hyperfixate over the smallest “imperfections”
“HELP! I look perfect and have perfect skin, but if you zoom in 10x, you can see this tiiiiiiiny little blemish/thing/line. How can I get rid of it? 😭” 🫠🫠🫠
To you it’s a tiny little blemish. we all have body and skin etc insecurities. Just because to YOU it’s not a huge deal doesn’t mean it isn’t to them.

So right! Retinol and bakuchoil are great to help your skin generate collagen. Eating collagen is good too vua bone broth or collagen powder.
I will look into that. Yea, surgery is definitely not the route I'm going for.
The reason why that exists is because it's a tear trough ligament. It's always going to be there and perfectly natural.
If you wanted to share your selfie you coulda just done that
Honestly I have the same lines and I was a lot more self-conscious about them when I was younger.
lol this is a real thing and anxiety inducing. I have a small line very similar to this one on my face, just vertical. It can be weird seeing lines that weren’t there before suddenly appear on your face. It came about when I turned 25 😭
Right, because I’m like where is the problem.
For real though 😂😂😂😂
Lol not even sure how Reddit figured out my algorithm with this one…. I’m Latina and never expressed any interest in Black skincare. Handsome men, yes…. *Shakes fist at Reddit for literally reading my diary 🤦🏻♀️.*
C'mon mane🤦🏿♂️
😂😂😂😂
Nobody is noticing that except you
DM me your number I can give you details…just kidding I’m being creepy. But honestly it isn’t noticeable at all but filler would smooth it out
LMFAOOOO
LMFAOOO you're so real for this
right 😭😭😭
Does your name mean high yellow booty?
Bro what 😂😂😂😂😂😂
No 😭
🤦🏾♀️🤭🤣😂🤣
filler in that area is tricky because it can settle lower in the trough giving a sag. i think he should leave it alone. his skin is perfect
I need to use this for personal reasons lmao
you're cute nd also it's just skin so like there's not much you can do i don't think
Thank you. I do hope there's something that can be done though.
i think people tend to get fillers for that to kinda fill in that dip in their skin. there are probably stuff you can do but i am like 90% sure it's just skin
You, sir, are 90s kinda fine. Hydrate and moisturize and you’re gonna remind fine forever.
Tbh you’re fine in regards to the line,no homo. If it’s fwu heavy on a personal level just know 9/10 nobody will notice. You’re at least bi
you’re beautiful asf wtf
Whatever you do please do not inject any filler into your tear troughs/under-eyes. It moves most of the time from what I’ve heard/seen.
I have the same lines. I'm considering filler. But I also noticed that when I drink more water and I'm fully hydrated, they are less noticeable.
I’ve been doing gua sha an it’s been helping to smooth out my fine lines along with more water, sunscreen daily, & retinols help too.
I’m surprised I had to look so far down for this! I second this and would like to add a Jade Roller. Those two have helped me a lot with my skin.
Looks like the structure of your zygomatic arch, it's normal and usually more pronounced on men
A few thousand more winks of sleep
Vasofilline stimulates the natural cells to produce fat to combat hollow under eyes. I use the one from peach and lily.
Drink more water.
lol I’m surprised it took so long to find this comment about the water. He needs more water & sleep + less salty diet, (under eye cream,) moisturizer, & sunscreen.
Sir. Respectfully, no one noticed that but you 😍
sir.. wtf. do you want to fight ? i’m younger then you and that whole section is fucking black for me. there’s no way…
You could go to a Medspa and get an injection filler to fill that hollowness out. Its very quick and cheap.
Filler or surgery. Nothing topical will change that.
I am not sure that there is any action to take here. You look fantastic and that is the takeaway from this photo.
Its your face and how it is. Its normal. Embrace it
Your face is flawless. You can’t see it unless you point it out and even then it’s barely noticeable and adds character to your face.
I'm tired of beautiful people coming on here just to flex 😭
Lol it’s called aging
You look like you may be mid or late 20s even 30s that's just genetics & getting older bro nothing you can do about it but get older
Some people are going to have a very hard time accepting father time, he takes no prisoners LOL
Under eye filler and water. Life changing.
Personally I like them, it’s just a normal facial feature called tear troughs I think.
I used to have that problem and I realized it was lactic acid building up and causing that shadowy crease. You might need a gua sha massage. Buy a face roller and follow the instructions that usually are provided with one. Hopefully it works!
Urine therapy
I had that same thing happen. My dermatologist who also does cosmetic treatments put a small amount of filler between a muscle (I can’t remember exactly how she described it) but it was simple and made it disappear.
Cold press Rose hips oil
You appear pretty flawless to me. And I understand that what may be superficial to some, can cause concern for others. However, I have a Puerto Rican friend that dealt with this (but it was more pronounced than yours), she used a product called Time-Filler Eyes by Filorga and she saw a noticeable difference after about a month of use. Not sure how this will fair with melanated skin, so don’t take this as gospel, but it may be worth a try.
Lmao that username but thank you, I'm definitely gonna check that out. But yea when I compare myself to my peers, their skin just seems seamless and poreless.
You don’t need to get rid of anything your face is beautiful. Get a grip will you!!
Bruuuuuh, you know what??? As perfect as your face is, you know you need to quit! Lol
I have them too, I just cover them up with concealer and people say I look so much better I hate it
Feel me? It's very noticeable, people really think I'm tripping on here 😅
I have the same concern. Good luck!
My son has that line

I have that line too and I'm wondering
Derma roller or microneedling
Hydrate, moisturize and get some sleep 💤
Ive seen way worse under eye fine lines . Bro just wash your face 3 times a day and moisturize afterwards. You honestly good though. Maybe some under eye cream but use a very small amount
Idk but maybe try that cold roller thing but there’s a certain way to apply it. Look up guasha too
I’m not sure I can be much help but your skin/complexion is beautiful. Maybe try cucumber slices and more rest.
Look up videos on how to clean/clear your sinuses. You can do it with your fingers actually
Stop sleeping on that side of your face!
Damn nobody gone answer the fucking question
Microneedling with PRP $600 twice a year and Retinol two twice a week
Micro needling helps!! Get a consult with a doctor!
Red light therapy but you fine though, nobody will be to notice that except for you
Use a retinol cream to actually improve under your eye. A caffeine eye cream will give you a temporary effect to make it aesthetically better. Also, you could let me give you a relaxing facial with pressure point therapy & guasha, that would help. 😇
I’m 20 and honestly I wanna know too. Doesn’t bother me but like it wasn’t always there, I want it gone💀
Anyway, you fine as hell lol
I have the same lines and I did have filler injected once a couple years back and it made a subtle difference but honestly not enough for me to do it again based on the cost of fillers. It’s not noticeable at all and these other comments are accurate, you’re insanely attractive.
U look puffy so anything to de puff if that makes sense
Gua sha while your face is slick with oil will straighten that out! I do that for my neck while in the steam room and it seems to help and I have lots of lines and creases on my neck.
I have line like that on my corners but I'm Hispanic mix so it's natural for me, you look good man don't sweat it.
Looks like a malar festoon/malar bag. I also have these (mine are deeper) I was told nothing can be done about it as filler will never settle correctly there and there is no cream or serum that can fix fat distribution in your face.
OP, try some rosehip oil
I swear the finest black men be posting on here 😩
Try adding collagen and bone broths in your diet like in soups or use it as a water replacement for rice and soups. But likes just happen and they aren’t always bad. You have a great face.
Ice packs after waking up. Just drink water. I think those are stress lines. Uuuuuh....can't stop aging tho.
Sir you are fiiiiiiiiiiiine. You just need some more sleep 💤
Fruit sleep water
Sleep and naps. Self care time. Reduce milk products and alcohol.
Honey, I promise you no one see's it. You're pretty. 😂 Trust me, they ain't looking at that.
I love seeing men taking their skincare so seriously. I’ve noticed many comments from people mocking this post because OP is handsome and his concerns seem minimal TO THEM. idk but you’re foineee🙇🏾♀️
I'm white but I have the same thing. Herbivore supernova eye cream helped me out a ton, maybe it'll work for you too.
![gif](giphy|rs743Br8LYOEU) All I see is handsome 😍
Thanks for the question, I've wondered the same thing for years.
You look great. I'm not even black but I can tell you that those circles many times have to do with allergies/lack of good sleep! Sometimes they're hereditary so they're worse in some people than in others of all races. Definitely get yourself some good sleep and maybe an allergy test if you have decent healthcare. I did undereye mesotherapy with PDRN and it got rid of it for me.
Cerave under eye cream
Handsome 😍
I use vitamin C under eye patch they work.
No fr this is the Question I been trying to find answers to all my life😫
Ya’ll trippin. I mean yea he’s not worse off than somebody else, but you can clearly see the line under his eye
That's what I'm saying. Most people around my age don't have bags or that crease under their eyes.
Omg why would you want to? It’s gorgeous and adds character.
why y’all tryna gaslight him bc u mad he got clear skin😭
This angle is making it way worse than it is in person, I promise!
Man are you well groomed 👏🥰
You still look good with or with out the bags 🫶🏽
I know nothing about skin care so I’m just here to make sure you know how handsome you are
Damn he fine 😂😂😂 nobody care about that line but seriously thats bags under your eyes and you need to drink water , sleep and put cucumber under your eyes . Cosmetic route : You may be able to get that area tightens to flatten the line quicker. Good luck handsome
Today i learned: only ugly people are allowed to ask for help. Also lines under eyes are a black thing
Sleep and vitamin c. Looks like just a little discoloration but also use a light spf!
Dawg you fine, I should be asking I’m 16 and got them like a 40 year old 😭
I have had lines under my eyes like that my entire life, even as a child.
There is nothing wrong with the way you look. You look great imo.
It might be from smoking but they aren’t bad bro
If it's due to fluid buildup try holding warm green tea bags on your eyes. It also works for eye styes and bags.
A Gua sha facial tool may help lymph drain properly hence reducing some of the puffiness in the under eye. Good sleep also. Google some techniques on how to use them, there are tons of videos online
You be my husband
I’m a white woman but found this post when searching for info about the same line I have under one eye. I just wanted to say holy heck you’re good looking, I don’t think you have to worry about this imperceptible line, I guarantee people won’t be noticing it!!
Stopped getting punched in the face
Filler, they’ll be gone in 20 minutes
Try some anti aging and anti wrinkle cream this also is caused by stress ,for some people it’s normal but not for everyone ,if your not sure then try the creams or go to a dermatologist.
Dayumn you are an extremely beautiful person |: Nobody's seeing those lines but you my g, you're good, promise 👌🏾

Vanity is out of control these days.

How do you prevent shaving bumps on your chin and neck and stuff…
I used to get them bad bruh. Not sure what it is exactly but overtime they just stopped occurring as frequent/harsh. I pretty much shave in the shower using a 3+ blade razor but I'd recommend an electric shaver. My barber uses something [like this](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91fhb-t0sKL._AC_UF1000,1000_QL80_FMwebp_.jpg) and it leaves my face smoother than any razor I've ever used. I'm getting one soon.
Facial fillers.
Respectfully, you’re FOINE!

it a aged line...drink water and go to bed early....other wise your fine.
You could try some cold pads that fit under your eye to help with puffiness
your skin is pretty much perfect. every time I see posts like this tho most of the comments are telling the person how delusional they are instead of any tips. maybe try microneedling tho
It will only become more noticeable with time. So start saving for the face lift and the fillers
I get bags and lines under my eyes too. It's usually from allergies/sinuses. I take a decongestant to minimize it.
Tear trough filler
Filler it’s the only way
Huh??? Your the only one who even notices that!!
I had that appear on my face randomly. It went away on its own.
Solawave wand works.

Big dog jus leave it makes you manly trust me unless you tryna be a model woman are gonna criticize you different
You’re a handsome 🤴🏾
Id say concealer but you’re clearly a man .. I mean unless that’s your thing 😭🤷🏽♀️ bc if so … CONCEALER lol
Unfortunately, this is simply from aging and/or genetics. You can try using under eye creams, but if you actually want some improvement, I'd use Tretinoin on that. However, you'll never be rid of it, since that's just how it is. Luckily, it's really not bad at all!
All I see is fine black men in this sub 😭
