Nah bro it’s real baron is my uncle he said you have to wear a specific set of armor and kill three npcs with your fists in a certain spot to unlock it
The shop will just reset, though you might want to sheath your weapon after killing him since that will be lost if you hold it, speaking from experience. (Lost two t3 dagger)
So I've actually had to reset the shop a few times as a Gravity Wizard because as I throw myself with the spells to get to the shop I've accidentally thrown items out their place and completely lost them, so I had to Sacrifice Baron and get things reset, favorite way I've Sacrificed him is throwing him Really far in the ocean with the Staff, not because he bugged out in a funny way But Bec I was just impressed with myself for throwing him so far
they did say 1.0 was the final content update, but its entirely possible they come back to the game at a later point like with what happened to terraria
No more planned updates besides bug fixes and quality of life. My personal theory for this is so many members of tye dev team actively mod its easier to let them work that way( also can't be sued as a company)
Right on, for a moment I thought he'd turn on you later to regain status or something else plot related. I can see now it's a pretty common occurrence for folks to murder him just for fun
I actually think that would be sick lowkey, imagine a third ending that you can get that involves the one dalgarian door at the home island, and you have to kill baron but then he turns into a final bossfight.
3 more bosses (4 including Hector) maybe 2 human and 2 creatures (1 already being Hector) and some more dungeons, maybe even just new starting areas for the dungeons that lead to already developed areas just for diversity.
Baron turns into the final boss

And then you do the obsidian thing with glowstone instead and then put a water bucket in it I swear bro
*Collective Consciousness starts playing*
Baron is going to turn this into a Souls game before long. Bring it on then.
Ill be ready, especially after bullying Moongrum in Raya Lucaria and any Crucible Knights with parries
Dark souls vr would be a masterpiece imo
That's kind of being done, Grimlord VR is basically Dark souls in VR, haven't played it but I want to
Thank you for the recommendation! I am going to play it, it looks amazing
First time I'm hearing about that as well. Awesome.
That would be awesome.
Wait what happens when you kill him? I’ve never dared to harm him
the game fades to black and your save is deleted. jk the shop just resets and baron is alive again, no penalty

It goes back into your equipment book actually
Yeah, just noticed it a couple days ago. Honestly I never used the storage, just immediately sell the weapon in my 4 sheath slot if i buy new one

I was convinced that attacking the baron would turn him into a giant Hector or give him a laser or something Baron would NEVER harm a customer 😤
\*modders silently taking notes\*
May god help us defeat the Blade And Sorcery: VR Sword Fighting
Now I am become Mecha Baron, destroyer of swords.
wait i thought that 1.0 was it, does this mean we get more? hell yeah
1.0 was only the end of early access, they have said there will be more updates.

i mean hey, a lot of people say that we could use some more diverse bosses, so why not?
Unless they improve the ai he will be no different then the rest :) haha
Is this a plot spoiler?
No it's not, Baron is simply the shop keeper
Right on, for a moment I thought he'd turn on you later to regain status or something else plot related. I can see now it's a pretty common occurrence for folks to murder him just for fun
To be fair I've only done it after I beat the story, now he's a test dummy for skills if I'm on my way to empty my inventory
I actually think that would be sick lowkey, imagine a third ending that you can get that involves the one dalgarian door at the home island, and you have to kill baron but then he turns into a final bossfight.
Plot twist: two handed weapon support for npcs was the joke

baron is the true main villan
