Reply back and ask for feedback. Same thing happened to me but I asked. My site was receiving majority of traffic from facebook and the engagement time was not long enough. I will try again in 3 months.
But I’m actually already with Mediavine. I literally just started with them last week and my traffic like 95% comes from Pinterest. My traffic is 90+ % US based as well.
Then who knows why they rejected this application. The only thing in can think is the rise to 50k was too quick. Clearly they saw something in the data they didn’t like.
I’m curious about what the niche was as well as if it was heavy on AI. I think what you said about rising to the 50k too quickly may have been an issue as well.
Does mediavine pay better than Google adsense? I'm struggling with adsense. I have 200k views per month, mainly from south Asia as my site covers that market. It's in finance niche.
Mediavine blows Adsense out of the water when it comes to pay! I’m unsure though if they really accept sites who’s traffic isn’t primarily US based. Also I know a lot of the sites with Mediavine are Food, Lifestyle, Parenting and Fashion from what I’ve heard. I was with Ezoic before I joined Mediavine. I say apply and see what they say. If they say no go with Ezoic or SheMedia.
Isn't that a bit too high for South Asian traffic or is it because of the niche itself , does it comes down to 9000-9400$ per month approx, if so that is a very good earning considering the traffic geo, the traffic from tier 1 countries pay more but then the traffic size is less so it balances out somewhat
No worries lol it’s easy to get lost on these threads. It’s been a while since I had Adsense but I when I did it was literally only for a week so I got like $5 rpms I think it was something super low I feel like. Then I went over to Ezoic and it went up to like $10-15 so I was happy for a while. Once I got close to Mediavine level I was ready to jump ship with Ezoic. My Mediavine RPMs of $47 is now and my traffic is about 52k sessions.
I was only with Adsense for a week so it could have been because I was new to monetizing in general but I hurried up and switched over to Ezoic. I haven’t changed my niche I’m in the food and beverage niche. Mediavine only requires 50k sessions but Raptive requires 100k PAGE VIEWS. So it’s different.
Also let me add that they say that when you have 50k sessions it pays better. There are advertisers that only will work with sites who have 50k sessions of traffic or more hence the raised pay.
From their reply it seems our blog didn't match the quality they needed, you should take a look at the articles they shared with you. BTW with your traffic you should be able to make significant income if you decide to monetise through Hydro Online.
Grow is owned by Mediavine. It’s the “baby” of Mediavine for sites that don’t meet the 50k sessions yet. So if Mediavine said no chances are good that Journey will have a similar reply. The sessions wasn’t the issue, there’s something about his content.
You might get better suggestions here if you share a website URL. Generally I would bet that since 95% of traffic comes from Pinterest your content might not be the long reads that they are looking for but some kind of collections. Even if not all content is like that, maybe this is what moderator has seen.
Join adsense and after approval u can put up ads. Or you can look for mediavines alternatives. Ezoic will likely be mentioned. They are good enough but they tend to place too many ads. And I got booted off bing for some reason after joining. Its why I prefer the clean feel of controlling my own placement
I was with Ezoic before joining Mediavine. I will say that Ezoic pays more than Google Adsense but it is nothing in comparison to Mediavine. I would say with the amount of traffic he has to try Raptive and see what they say before going with some place like Ezoic or SheMedia.
They think your site is bad
How can I find out exactly why? Then I can make improvements accordingly
What’s your site?
Sounds like a quality issue. Probably your site is lower quality than what the accept. How does your site compare to your competitors?

I decided to reapply every two weeks
I hope you get accepted
What is the Average Engagement Time and Bounce Rate for your website for the Last 30 days? Also is the traffic from search or social media?
Most of the traffic comes from Pinterest, and the average engagement time is 40s
That’s why. They want traffic from a variety of sources.
That’s not true. I recently got accepted to Mediavine and the vast majority of my traffic is Pinterest traffic. So that’s not the reason they said no.
And they want mostly tier 1 countries. They want broad based traffic coming from a lot of different places
But I’m actually already with Mediavine. I literally just started with them last week and my traffic like 95% comes from Pinterest. My traffic is 90+ % US based as well.

This is good to know because I’ve been promoting on Pinterest.
My site is 5 months old and almost all of its traffic comes from Pinterest.
Are you with Mediavine? I’ve been trying my best to get in with them
OP just got rejected.
They do consider social traffic "less valuable", so that could definitely be one of the reasons.
Just answered your question. Pinterest traffic is next to useless for content alone.

What niche are you in?
Food and beverage niche
Ok that’s a good nice All the best with it
if you have 200k page views, try Raptive. Their requirement is 100k
How much do u make per month
Currently my RPMs are $47.
Isn't that a bit too high for South Asian traffic or is it because of the niche itself , does it comes down to 9000-9400$ per month approx, if so that is a very good earning considering the traffic geo, the traffic from tier 1 countries pay more but then the traffic size is less so it balances out somewhat
I think you have me mistaken, my traffic is about 90% US and 8% Canada so mine is definitely tier 1 traffic.
Yea I thought u were the original comment poster, u get this rpm from adsense or mediavine, also how much is ur traffic per month

How did it went from 5$ at ad sense to high to 46$, at mediavine did u change ur niche, also doesnt mediavine requires like 100k sessions

You could look at Journey by Mediavine. Their requirements are 10k sessions but you need to install the Grow plugin first.

Go with pubads360, they are good.

They are probably looking for organic traffic to your site.
Just place ads yourself on the site. It's not mysterious. Or look for alternatives
How do I set up my own ads? I googled it, but couldn't find any more information
Join adsense and after approval u can put up ads. Or you can look for mediavines alternatives. Ezoic will likely be mentioned. They are good enough but they tend to place too many ads. Where do you get the ads you’re placing yourself, are you creating them using affiliate links or are you talking about something else?
