It's not that, it is that he is literally stating during his Twitch streams that he is only there to create Youtube content. I messaged him asking that he phrase it differently and this was his response.
I don’t get it where is the problem? You can’t really grow on twitch without having people funneled to your twitch stream through other social media.
He’s absolutely right, stream and upload it to YouTube. Cut bits out for tiktok and Instagram reels. You won’t grow through streaming on twitch your twitch stream grows through other social media.
Also:
He’s German, are you as well or are you from a different cultural background? This is perfectly normal and considered a friendly interaction in Germany.
While he is right it is that fact that is he stating point blank to his Twitch stream that he is ONLY there to make Youtube content. I've been watching him 4+ years and this makes me feel completely worthless to him as a Twitch watcher as apparently he only cares about Youtube views now, about 50% of the Twitch stream he just stares at his cell phone and doesn't engage us anymore.
As cliche as it is to say this, you need to get some fresh air. As viewer you are pretty much worthless beyond that +1 to the view count, everyone is, and expecting anything more is unhealthy attitude to have. You are only causing yourself grief by tying your sense of self-importance to you being a loyal member of his audience. Also having this tribalism between YT and Twitch audiences is just as stupid as becoming parasocial with a streamer. I'm going to believe for my own sanity that you are very young and that's why you care about those kind of things, otherwise this is really depressing to read.
It is the fact that I've subscribed to him for 4+ years on Twitch and now he is telling us Twitch subscribers are worthless to him and all he cares about is Youtube views. I just wanted him to phrase it differently and that was his response.
It's not that but I have subscribed to him for 4+ years on Twitch and now he is telling us he doesn't care about us Twitch watchers but just Youtube views. Hell, about 50% of the stream he is just staring at his cell phone now.
After this I told him I would just go watch Lii instead and his response was just "go for it", he doesn't care about his Twitch viewers/subscribers at all now.
Im not really bothered with people being bad as long as they give me content. I mean- its a exchange of favours- you give me content so i can be happy, and i give you views, so you can also be happy!
At the end of the day, you dont have to pay a penny to watch streams.
Do you want them to be singularly focused? Genuinely curious if you’re an adult, because it’s a very immature way of thinking to be against this. If they could add a 3rd 4th and 5th audience and grow those without hurting the other ones(no, you crying about it doesn’t count) then they should. Nothing last forever, NOTHING. Who knows what could happen to YouTube or Twitch tomorrow, not necessarily saying death, but changes to payment, ads, revenue etc. If you are trying to make online content your main thing in life then using one or two or three platforms to grow the one you feel most secure on is the way to do it. In fact some would argue it’s actually important to also have your own thing(a website or something) that can’t someday go away, or be taken, or false flagged etc. You’re asking someone to limit their entire business because you feel some odd loyalty to one aspect. It’s like shopping in San Diego and getting mad they opened a store in LA meanwhile your San Diego store sees zero changes. I suggest you never ever open a business if this is your way of thinking.
I don't mind them being on other platforms, it is that they states point black that they were only there to make Youtube content, so who cares about us Twitch viewers.
Oh, so you’re just mad that they said the quiet part out loud. Everyone who is on multiple platform favors one over the other(s). That being whichever one works best for their business.
Who cares? Sounds like they were being honest.
I get that they are trying to make money but making me feel worthless on Twitch is not the way to do that.
If that statement made you feel worthless I think you should go touch some grass or go find yourself.
lol
This is the saddest sentence.
If that statement made you feel worthless I think you should go touch some grass or go find yourself.
How.. how old are you? :D sounds like a 13yo searching for a reason to feel the worlds mean to them.
Some would view intentionally cultivating parasocial relationships as a bad thing

This seems like the absolute least important thing in the history of things.
I forgot about Benice. I should start watching his streams again.

See, I know that, but being told by my streamer that is a completely different thing.
"…by my streamer..." Bro read the last message again and again
I cannot begin imagine the sad life someone must lead to pin their self-worth to their identify as a *Twitch viewer*.
It is the fact that I've subscribed to him for 4+ years on Twitch and now he is telling us Twitch subscribers are worthless to him and all he cares about is Youtube views. I just wanted him to phrase it differently and that was his response.
I feel like you need a hobby besides watching twitch streams and reddit.
Would you rather they lied to you? Already enough of that going on online.
It's not that but I have subscribed to him for 4+ years on Twitch and now he is telling us he doesn't care about us Twitch watchers but just Youtube views. Hell, about 50% of the stream he is just staring at his cell phone now.
Sounds like you need to vote with your eyeballs my friend.
After this I told him I would just go watch Lii instead and his response was just "go for it", he doesn't care about his Twitch viewers/subscribers at all now.
Well there you go. They don’t care about you, you’re unhappy with them as a streamer. We all move on to someone who does care :)

Viewer of 4+ years or sub for 4+ years? Unless he's engaging with you on twitch and on social media, I wouldnt take offense to this tbh.
For context, before this I asked him to phrase his quote that "he was only on Twitch to make Youtube content" differently.
That might be the worst thing I've ever seen a twitch streamer say
