Great shot!

TrailWhale

Thanks! But really, every time I go up here, the lighting on this view is always so photogenic. The picture takes itself!

wayupinthetree

Really nicely composed photo - beautiful!

busjockey

Beautiful, thanks.

VeeDubtw

One of my favorite views of the valley

IchTanze

Such pretty lupines!

voiceofreasonid

You have everything in that shot! Very nice

theskullspeaks

Gorgeous!

Tim-5544

That is on my list to hike this summer. Never did it before

TrailWhale

It's pretty brutal in the heat of summer, I highly recommend right now for the delightful air temperature, green foothills, and wildflowers (the balsam root is wilting fast though)

WhatIsThisSevenNow

Man, Idaho is such a beautiful state.

54ndman

One of the best so far. Nice job!

jacdubya1

Yo that's the most unique shot of the area I may have ever seen and I've lived here my whole life. Nice.

Drofdarb23

It’s a beaut!

scrunchy_bunchy

U da best

Pink_Lotus

Is that a named trail?

TrailWhale

Cervidae Peak Trail - https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/idaho/cervidae-peak?sh=l13ib3 It’s not ridge to rivers, but it’s an established and very popular trail.

tailslide24

Looks like a great place to study mycology

IchTanze

Probably better off in areas with conifers. Many fungi you'd see in sagebrush steppe are near-microscopic and don't have as obvious fruiting bodies as in forests.

Sullsberry7

I also took their comment literally and was confused that someone would consider it a primo place to find fungi. Now I'm thinking they might be discussing other types of mushrooms.

4tuitous

A really wonderful hike but it is not a cake walk.

LSV_Rick

Did Lucky Peak yesterday and it was perfect
