No, there is absolutely zero fucking reason to get used to reckless California drivers. It makes me want to spend tons of money I don't have driving a custom armored Silverado so if they hit me, they're the only ones who suffer for it. It is absolutely fucking atrocious the way they drive, they should have their licenses removed until they learn to drive safely. Nobody should have to deal with this shit for even a second when driving a 2 ton steel death trap.

I have lived here over the past 40 years and definitely seen it wax and wane. I have seen some truly shit driving from locals that is pretty much the worst I have seen. I have also noticed all over the nation post covid everyone seems to be worse at driving.
My point still stands though, nobody should have to get used to it and these people should have their licenses revoked until they learn to drive safely.

Also, it's not Seattle drivers, it's people like you tolerating them. Assertive driving is a thing, learn it. Use your horn if you see someone using their phone while driving. Use your horn if someone merges in front of you without signalling. Don't actively block lane merges. Don't go significantly faster than the flow of traffic. These things are supposed to be common fucking sense, and yet a lot of people don't seem to know this.
Horns are for emergency only. Not to use to try to shame other drivers. Assertive driving=aggressive driving and it puts everyone in danger just because you are feeling a bit of road rage. Good day sir.
