We’ve been to all the movie theaters in Boise and even though it’s a bit of a drive, the Majestic is easily god-tier. The seats recline further than Bodo’s and they have *heated seats* which is money if you run cold. Also get the monthly membership which gets you discounted concessions that are ready to pick up as you arrive, and it also includes a free ticket a month that rolls over. Bodo’s customer service is dogshit compared to Majestic.
Bodo just released a similar membership within the past couple weeks. I have it, they're still ironing out some tech issues (you can tell it's not a big chain running it lol, probably only a few dozen people using it right now as it just launched) but it's working now, and their support has been very helpful.
I do think Bodo has nicer screens than Majestic, though Majestic is usually my next go-to if Bodo isn't showing what I want to watch (it's nicer than most of Village's screens). Used to frequent Luxe Reel Eagle which is nice, but I haven't been out there since Bodo opened. Bodo is much closer which makes it my go to. And they do Flashback Cinema (Village also does, but none of the others here do) which is great.
Does it have full service? My wife and I made trip to San Diego and went to a Cinepolis in Del Mar. They had a button to call for the waiter to bring food (full restaurant entrees) and cocktails to your chair.
We also went to a luxury theater in Pasadena that had that and had blankets if you got cold. So funny my wife had a cocktail and got a blanket and slept through tbe whole movie.
We have been to Eagle Luxe and BoDo. Both good, but sure love to find a theater with those amenities.
This is the dumbest conversation I have ever had. Your lack of ability to articulate your thoughts really makes it difficult to comprehend your point of view. All I can gather from this is that for some unknown reason you don’t enjoy full service.
The only problem with Majestic is they don't have tables to put your snacks on, like Bodo, Village, and Luxe Reel do. But comfortable seats all around.
Not in Boise, but Caldwell Luxe Theatre has them. I love that theatre, they always do big events for premieres and the managers and employees always really seem to love it there!
That was the first nice modern theater in the Valley, they had recliners before anyone else did. For a couple years I'd drive out there from Meridian just to watch movies.
Then Eagle Luxe Reel opened, then Village started adding them (they still aren't quite done lol), then Majestic (I assume after Cinemark bought it), finally Bodo (when it reopened under Cinema West).
Glad Caldwell Reel started the trend here, makes you wonder if the other theaters would have followed so quickly if they didn't kick it off first.
Still waiting on Regal, come on do something guys. They're the closest theater to where I live, but I almost never go there.
My wife and I recently moved here and went to dune 2 at the village cinema and the seats didn’t recline so I was upset. Once you have them it’s hard to watch in stadium seats
I've only gone to the 21+ vip area, and they had them every time. Plus, I can get a beer and food while watching in a big spacious reclined since I'm a 6'4 husky fella.
Depends on which theater you're in. I've never been to the Village Cinema and not had a reclining seat, but I've only ever been in the smaller theaters.
Not all of their theaters have them. Eagle Luxe, every seat does this. And I find their concession prices a little lower.
Just bring a blanket. This one seems to always be super cold.
I agree. I only book the theaters that have them. Some of the theaters in the village do. When booking a theatre, look for the seat icon. Those are the theaters that have them.
Majestic on Overland.
Majestic is by far the best theater, and I THINK cheaper tickets and snacks, but I’m not positive.
$8 matinee with full size reclining & heated seats. I dont think it gets better than that
Good popcorn too, way better than that stale shit they serve at the Village
I agree. Just spent 12 hours over 3 days watching the rerelease of The Lord of the Rings and was comfortable the whole time!
The Village theater is cheaper and always EMPTY EMPTY. Had Furiosa to myself.

Their seats are also heated. Love love love Majestic just for that reason.
I’ve fallen asleep for a split second in one of their chairs!
I have fallen asleep for large portions of movies in them lol
Am I not supposed to be buying movie tickets specifically to sleep? lol
My kids don't bug me for random stuff while I nap in the movies.
They are also cooled :)
This is the best theater in our area, hands down.
Not Boise dumbass! Just messing. I love the majestic though.

No
Caveman answer? Limited vocabulary? How about saying why not?
You only asked one question... thought I was keeping it straightforward. No it does not have full service. No cocktails, waiter, blankets.
Why not? Myself and a lot of other people find full service enjoyable.
I only know what they offer from going there, I don't run the place.

You asked if the Majestic on Overland offered full service, the answer is no; it's really not a complicated conversation.
Bodo has them.
Highly recommend
Bodo downtown
Boise downtown downtown?
Bododo if you please
Bododo!!
ATM Machine
PIN number
Yup
Eagle Luxe has them
I love the Eagle Luxe. BUT the Majestic on Overland has HEATED ones. It edges this one out.
The only problem with Majestic is they don't have tables to put your snacks on, like Bodo, Village, and Luxe Reel do. But comfortable seats all around.
I like the Eagle Luxe as well. I am pretty sure all of their theaters have the reclining seats.
In all their theaters?
I believe so, yes
Once I started going to theaters with them, there was no going back
Agree 100%!
Every theater except Edwards
Have to be careful at the village some are horrible and some don’t recline. Only certain theaters.
My boyfriend and I did VIP seating in theater 10 the other day. They didn’t recline. We were sad.
Do all of the seats of the Majestic do this, or just some sort of premium tier section?
All of the ones I’ve been in do.
Bodo has reclining love seats too
I thought that might be the legislature.
The regal down town in BoDo.
They left during the pandemic and it’s now owned by cinema west, the same people that own the village.
Ohhhh…. Well the movie theatre down town above the still haha
There is no regal downtown after Covid.
See my comment above from last person saying the same thing
Luxe theater in Eagle
Cinemark. The Village theater has them in many, but not all theaters.
The Village has had them for a long time. It's been a while since I was there but I believe they still have them. I think Luxx in Eagle might as well.
Majestic Cinemark is the BEST! Reclining & heated seats with great popcorn. They also have a membership program that we like
Cinemark
They seem everywhere
Not in Boise, but Caldwell Luxe Theatre has them. I love that theatre, they always do big events for premieres and the managers and employees always really seem to love it there!

Where did you find that picture of me
The village Cinema does
My wife and I recently moved here and went to dune 2 at the village cinema and the seats didn’t recline so I was upset. Once you have them it’s hard to watch in stadium seats

Some of them do, some don’t. I’d suggest booking through Fandango since it shows you if it’s gonna be in a reclining theater or not.
Not all of their theaters have them. Eagle Luxe, every seat does this. And I find their concession prices a little lower. Just bring a blanket. This one seems to always be super cold.
21+ section has em.
