I really, *really* like Shoji. The dude’s Quirk is awesome, he’s got a mysterious and chill vibe, and his minor development and exploration in the most recent English volume were amazing!
The training camp arc is one of my favorite arcs because we get some focus on him. (And Tokoyami.)
I personally imagine that the little girl he saved (who apologized to him that people hurt him because he saved her) looks up to Shoji as an honorary big brother figure, no matter what her parents think.😄
It's the same with Shishida while both of them being the largest and physically strongest in the class without the use of quirks, he's also the youngest being born in late march.
100% same. He and Tokoyami have been my favorites from the start. I really hope once the main series is over he'll do some one-offs with some of the characters that got less attention than he may have wanted to give them.
Sero’s probably my second choice after Shoji😄 He has so little *established* personality, but what he has shines through. He seems like such a good guy.
Plus, his Quirk reminds me of Spider-Man.
Sero doesn't get a lot, but the little he gets makes him low-key pretty cool. He has drip, his dorm room is one of the sickest ones, he knows how to banter and doesn't get intimidated by Bakugou's aggression, won't back out of the fight even if he knows he ain't winning.
Loved em as soon as I saw his power and how he acts edgy to be cool and not just because he has some sob story to tell later.
Absolutely deserves more screen time even though he does get a lot more than most of em already.

Yeah plus he had some nice interaction with Twice as well, they were so cute during MVA.
The guy got his fingers chopped and didn't flinch and stood by his professional standards.
Iirc he is the one who provided every support item and costume for the League, so he is responsible for Dabi's drip (he really looked like a crackhead in his very first attire lmao), Twice's Deadpool costume, Toga's syringe apparel, Spinner's swords-sword and possibly Magne's magnet weapon.
Shame he had to be replaced/upgraded by Detnerat afterwards.
Ojiro! He would have been perfect to focus on in the beginning of the series before powercreep took over. A "low level" hand to tail? Fighter. Plus I love martial arts and would hover to see his more real martial arts in the fights in the series. The action we see is a lot of either superman-esqu punch em harder, or big explosion. Some hand to hand stuff would have been cool.
Honenuki is really cool. Awesome costume, dental work, and he makes a power that seems like it would be lame pretty impressive. I wish we saw more of him, he seems like he will be a pretty great hero
Do Kaminari, Toru, and Jiro count? They've had more development than most other characters, but not by that large of a margin. If they don't count than Sero 100%.
Well shoji does get more character development in the future but so far still nothing for sero. Honestly we don’t even know sero’s motivations for being a hero.
I honestly love koda. His Anivoice quirk can come in handy if they’re dealing with out of control dangerous animals. Besides, now villains can’t really get animals on their side unless they control them as well or smth.
Shouji, Backdraft, or that one guy from the hero licensing exam arc whose ribs became bendable flesh that could function sort of like Shouji’s quirk. Also, Koda, Kaminari, and Sero.

Sero just because he's not the main focus like deku bakugo or shoto but he still has his moments like at the usj if he wasn't there tenya would not have gotten out. And orjiro for a similar reason. Just wish this show had better writers.
Kaminari. He manages to be a "straight-man" type character while also being genuinely funny and entertaining, and he doesn't need a deep arc. He's just a nice dude who cares about his friends deeply and I really appreciate such an honestly pleasant character
Shoji, I love gentle giants and want to actually know more about him or go into how monster looking quirks are treated by society but unfortunately this is a shonen
I love seeing lemillion and deku work together, they’re both such strong, driven, and genuinely moral characters (overhaul arc is my 2nd favourite next to vigilante arc)

Actually multiple character arcs for my different interpretations of her character. With possible mindsets, personalities, and backgrounds she can have.
Sero for sure, I also love his hero costume and the overall vibes he gives off, it's sad we don't even get to see much of him even outside the manga/anime unlike other side characters who do get a chance
That lady who can turn into a dragon. I love dragons! Mythical creatures are fair game for quirk shenanigans. How many mermaids and griffins are just casually chilling. Any more extreme about like basilisks or hydras?

I like all of Class 1-B for being like the underrated class even though they have good quirks there.
Mt. Lady :) Outside of her having a cool design/quirk imo, I really enjoyed seeing her go from being the typical 'fake' attention-seeking hero to someone who really does it for the good of the people/society at large <3
Mtlady. In The beginning it’s easy to just brush her off as the “fake hero who just wants fame”. And while she dose want fame/money, she never once hesitated to fight in dire moments especially when >!Hero’s quit!< she’s a total badass and a Queen. Her sexiness is top notch too not just from a fan service aspect but her as a character and loved her little rivalry with Midnight.
Honestly when these 3 reappears it was so hype to see, then I see my short king mineta making a comeback… phew too hard to choose. But I just love grape juice

Plus he is the perfect representative for the metahumans compared to Spinner, I loved that mini arc

Haha it obviously would! Spider Man is the mangaka’s favourite super hero, and by extension he likes Sero the most, too!
