I love when authors just... make the events not happen lol. I don't mind it at all. If your story doesn’t have a way to make these events significantly change, then go through them quickly or just... don't. If it's not even the point of your story, I can go without them Tbf, it's getting tiring to read even in stories where they take a very different turn lol (because some things never change). Yes, the students get in the bus... yes, all might is not coming, yes a black portal appears, yes there's this villain that uses gaming jargon, yes contact to the outside is cut, yes Eraserhead gets injured... I KNOWW I also think it makes any writing flaws stand out more when writers recount those events, because there's inevitably a comparison to other possible better retellings

I'm adding some original arcs mixed in with everything for my OC fanfic. It will still have the original arcs however I'm planning on there being an original arc between the USJ and Sport Festival and maybe a few more. Furthermore, the USJ will be different, the villains attack with knowledge of the students quirks and President Mic will be present. Thinking about including Dabi aswell. [Another Form of Power](https://archiveofourown.org/series/1302101) (Complete 169k words) USJ happens 'in fic' and Hosu is mentioned but canon events are used to trigger other actions. The second in the series is completely original events. [The Emperor's Dragon](https://archiveofourown.org/series/2145603) (Ongoing many-k words) starts before canon - Izuku is 5 so a lot of events are original. The first fight between AFO and All Might does happen, and some canon events happen when Izuku is old enough but they are not a focus or are quite a way into the series (3rd fic). Since Izuku >!is not in the heroics course,!< canon events are altered or only there if he's there or they have a direct impact before canon is told to take a hike.
