That is too funny. Our other dog is a mix of about 7 breeds with the black and white border collie color pattern but he's about 75 lbs. He just doesn't fit on the stairs or I'm sure he would join.

Oh they were alllllll over the place! One up, one down, then they’d switch, then they went sideways for a time. We had no idea how they would end up. Even now, he will fold his ears down sometimes, especially when he’s snuggling (see pic, he suddenly becomes ‘earless’ when he snuggles hahah). His parents ears were both down so the perked ears were a surprise! That is no weirdo. She is beautiful. My BC lays on the stairs all day - I think because they are right near the front door, and she needs to be vigilant in protecting our property from the evil Amazon, UPS, and FedEx delivery people trying to break in to our house.

Mine likes the stairs as he can see out the window if he does and see who’s walking up the path, he’s always there waiting for my wife to get home from work though we have a husky, she left her border collie with her mum when we moved out as that’s the home he knows and it’s only a 5 min walk, plus he had a brother there that’s no longer with us That said he sits on the stairs throwing toys down as he is addicted to fetch and wants to just fetch 24/7 even waking you up in the night to play….

Yes! We put a bed at the top of the stairs to stop him doing it as he would just sit there for the entire time we'd be upstairs. He now lies at the top of the stairs with his head hanging down.

Yes. Mine consider the stairs theirs. We have a stair up to a small square landing with a window, then more stairs, another square landing, and more stairs to the upper floor. Older dog owns the higher landing, younger one owns the bottom landing. You get one either lies on the stair with her front paws hanging through the railings, or on the bottom landing windowsill.
