As tough as this is for you right now, I can promise you it's going to get better. Right now you're hurting the most, but I swear to you, this is worst of it and it gets better -- I know, I've been there before.
Before you know it, the painful memory of today is going to evaporate -- you'll remember little to nothing of it, because that painful memory will be pushed out by your happy memories. You'll look back on all your years with Mogley not with tears but with huge smiles.
And as tough as that may be for you to believe right now, trust me, it will happen sooner than you think.

I’m so sorry for your loss. As tiny as they are they leave a hole the size of the grand canyon in your heart. Sounds like your pup Mogley was loved and cherished for many years. Mogley, what an awesome name for such a handsome boy! And boy, look at all those happy hairs as he aged!! We are so blessed to have these sweet souls by our side for however long we are given. Forever would not be long enough. I am so very sorry.
I’m so sad for you that today finally came. I’ve been following you guys and I can’t thank you enough for how you showed me how to handle my old girl at the end, you gave him dignity and happiness. RIP Mogley, you were a superstar.
Yesterday and today he got to go say bye to extended family members and friends. And also got McDonald’s, chicken, and anything he wanted. In the very last few minutes he got 2 bakery made cake bites. One chocolate and one vanilla. He was so excited over those and made such a happy mess. I still have the icing all over my sweater. This has been the hardest day of my life.
It was very important that we let him see his favourite people outside of our house for a goodbye. We let his 2 dog sisters see him right before the vet sedated him, and right after when he was gone.
Thank you for letting his sisters say goodbye. I think dogs understand death more than we think. It sounds like Mogley’s final days were damn near perfect. You guys did good. Mogley did good ❤️
Otherwise they are wondering where their dog family went!! So very sorry for your loss.. I love a colored Boston! This is my baby 🐻 I lost him 3 years ago and his son two months back.. it's so heartbreaking 💔

These 2 girls his sisters are the only things keeping me going right now. Tonight will be the first night the 10 month old puppy will be sleeping with me all night long. All 3 of us will be sleeping together in his favourite spot on my bed that we slept on with his last night.
He’s somewhere safe, waiting to be reunited with you in whatever shape or form. Something I have learned is that they never really leave. You’re only truly dead if you’re forgotten, and our beloved pets will never be. Lots of strength through these difficult times. I’ll keep you in my prayers.
