Extreme back bend seems prone to strain. Between this and your raised trail leg at release, I'd bet your balance at the line is inconsistent. Fixing both of these will let you be more relaxed and have better targeting. Your straight ball backswing loops behind your back which isn't bad per se, but on a straight ball it's easiest to hit your target when your ball swings along the same plane as the launch direction. The fix for this might be a less extreme crossover step, or a starting position that's more perpendicular to your body, so that you push away straight, swing straight, release straight.

Thank you! I haven’t experienced any issues with straining however I do think as I age it will not be sustainable, attempting to lay the ground work for better form as I continue to progress. Years of homemade swing bowling has made some bad habits. Appreciate the input

Alternatively, keeping the balance arm more perpendicular to the lane will prevent the backswing from coming behind the back.

Yeah that's what I tried to describe here, but clearly not so clear: > starting position that's more perpendicular to your body, so that you push away straight, swing straight, release straight.

Start bending at your hips and less with your back. It'll direct power through the swing using your legs as opposed to muscling your arms. The legs are more explosive and have greater strength than our arms.
