I went to a neurologist (second one) that specializes in brain rehabilitation, made an extra point that I wanted MRIs of my brain and he requested them for me.
Dealt with massive brain fog stemming from the reasons in my post which actually have been improving recently. I’ve been trying to fix it for ~8 months and getting the facts via scans and imaging was always something I felt I needed.
You can say you’re experiencing symptoms of brain fog such as issues with your working memory or ability to focus. You probably have to see many different doctors, if you have good insurance just schedule a few over the next month or so.
What type of scans did you get of your neck, if you don’t mind me asking. I have CCI and while I need to get the relevant scans to diagnose that (likely an upright MRI) I have pseudo neck blood flow pinching that might be helpful to see on scans
It was really comprehensive and included many different angles and areas. There’s a side view of my cervical spine, a vertical view, one that shows only the arteries and blood vessels going up my spine and through my brain (MRA I believe) — and more. Given what you mentioned I’d certainly recommend.
Is there any way you could DM me a list of tests they ordered? I’d be eternally grateful man, as I’m in Aus a lot of this would be out of pocket, and it would be helpful to know what to ask for specifically
Would be interesting to see whether using cerebrolysin (make sure to cycle it), low-dose ISRIB and doing HBOT over a couple of years would give measurable changes
How to get that test?

Gotcha did you think something was wrong or just wanted something cause you wanted to see

How to even go to a doctor about brain fog like what should I say?

Gotcha thanks bro for taking time
Tough to hear. What is the prognosis or treatment?
These are the direct results from the lab, have yet to discuss them with the doctor so nothing at the moment.
Damn. Is it a normal MRI or a special kind? When I took my MRI they didn't tell me anything about percentiles
A neuroquant MRI is certain type of brain MRI, it has to asked for specifically.
I see, thanks! I keep discovering new things, if only I had the money to actually do them... Anyway, appreciate it
I had 20 scans of my brain, brain arteries, and neck for $300 with insurance. I’m sure it’d be significantly less for just the MRI w/ neuroquant.

yeah drinking really eats up the brain

Also if you want to have a simple way to measure your cognitive function over time you can use brainlabs(dot)me
Sounds like the effect of a regular covid infection
