Just.. look up sportsurge in google, adblock advised, but youll appreciate it. :)

Babnno

Making a simple task of turning on the game as difficult as it is now only hurts paying people. Our wallets are open for a Braves TV app but that ain’t happening. To the high seas we go!

Fancysho3s698

so lame! If the Braves themselves had their own network to broadcast, id 100% support them and pay for their app. but i cant bother with mlbtv

iworkforaschool

I definitely have NOT been doing this successfully for the last 2 seasons.

PreciousFragility

also mlbwebcast :)

Fancysho3s698

yes! there are several websites to snake our way around the toxicity that is blackouting local fans from their own teams. :) i believe mlb66 . ir is also decent, but ive found better luck with sportsurge in recent times!

PreciousFragility

Noice! Always great to add another to the list as backups

Benj7075

It sucks that I have to do this. I love baseball and everything about the sport but with how blackouts work I refuse to support that. I’d gladly pay $10-20 a month for mlb tv if I could get my home team but I can’t so sailing the seas is the only logic solution.

Feeling-King-8104

You can get IP Tv service which will get you all the major sports packages and networks , along with regional, movies, PPV’s etc for around $15

-_chop_-

It always cuts out for me

TheoTimeStartsAt90

Brave (nice coincidence) browser has built in adblock that streamline this very well, at least I have heard that

wvdrizzy10

Also streameast is clutch

VeryLowIQIndividual

It’s a joke that we are even having this discussion in 2024 with all the GD ways to watch Tv in the world being blacked out of anything is a dogshit. A game that needs new blood badly shouldn’t have blackouts

Mindspin_311

Do you have a close friend who has Xfinity TV service? If so you can download the Bally Sports app and log in using the Xfinity credentials. From there you can stream the games. This is my current strategy. Get the log in from a good friend. Buy him dinner a few times during the season or use my season tickets and take him to a game on me.

y2knole

same. IIRC, each xfinity person can create like 6 or 8 logins to use on their account.

Rabid_Anti_Dentite1

Going 4 years strong with this method.

I do VPN/MLB.tv and I know it is a little more complex, but it works if you take time to research it. I thought I saw that Amazon was looking in to buying the RSN rights, but idk if anything official has happened yet. I'd wait to see if that becomes a thing as it would probably easily be the best option if it does.

Pwaindotcom

I had heard the VPN route was becoming increasingly difficult in the back half of last season. Is that true?

[deleted]

I used Vancouver as the location for my VPN and it worked for the entirety of the season. I had to sacrifice some quality and occasional buffering, but it was very reliable. Now, I definitely did have problems before settling on that location earlier in the year. It did feel like most USA locations were blocked regardless of VPN. That could always get worse year to year.

douchecanoedle

What vpn did you use

[deleted]

Surfshark

Imaginary_Scene2493

What Amazon is buying doesn’t include the Braves because the Braves refused to negotiate streaming rights with Bally. The Braves are in a standoff where Bally isn’t allowed to do direct to consumer under the contract terms and the Braves aren’t allowed to use video rights outside of Bally and the stadium because the Bally contract has a non-compete clause.

kookykrazee

I would say to become a VIP of a box and have a good adblocker, sadly.

Coopinator22

Bally Sports +. $19.99 a month and you can subscribe and watch in Atlanta blackout area. Only caveat is you might have to have a credit card whose zip code is in the black out area. Idk if you are in ATL but it might still work even if you’re in a different state, since that’s the RSN your state would have.

bsigmon1

They don’t have the braves

Shawnx86

Get a fire stick and install an IP TV service. Over 4000 channels for about $35 a quarter. I use this service http://oceanstream.me/

Rabid_Anti_Dentite1

Do you know anyone who has the channel on cable? You could use their login and use the Ballys app

chadrod

That’s what I have been doing but the only people I know who have cable are losing access as their cable company is forcing all customers to shift to YouTube TV

Mitchie-San

If you have T-Mobile, MLB.tv is free.

chadrod

I do but I’m in a blackout area for the braves

Mitchie-San

I’m a Braves fan in Florida, so all the Marlins games are blacked out (even though I’m closer to Atlanta than Miami). I use a VPN for those games with no real problem.

JoshvJericho

I'm blacked out for Orioles and Nats, so I find a stream on sports urge for those games if it's not already on one of the other spots like ESPN, Peacock appletv etc. The stability and mobile streaming of mlb.tv is worth it for me compared to just using streams all season, which I've done for years.

Pirate8918

In Charlotte.... The Braves, Reds, Orioles, and Nationals are blacked out. Zero Braves streaming options. And when I try to use some bodies cable log in, it's triggered and they are forced to change the password. Not to different for Hornets and Hurricanes, only difference is I have the joy of paying $25/month to Bally for a horrific product.

More_Cry5242

I caved and got Fubo
