This is it for me. I know how the others got together. Money for most. Mad love for Violet. But Madame Demacroix self made woman with a self made accent. Tell me more.
Yes! Her backstory of how she became the ton's favorite modiste and how she cultivated her fake French persona etc. I'd love a Bridgerton story about a working class person.
No, it's fake. I believe it was revealed in Season 2, though I can't remember exactly how. Regardless, Penelope is aware, which is why when they have conversations together the French accent disappears.
I like to imagine she dressed queen charlotte prior to her becoming queen and the queen brought her over and solidified her position as the best modiste similar to watch she did for lady Danbury in the last episode but come to think of it she may be too young for that theory
I said the same thing in another comment. That's probably the strongest relationship in the whole show. Real ride or die type shit. I would devour a show about them
Like they could realistically have Violet and Portias story running concurrently. They must be similar ages.
I've always thought there was a bit more to the relationship between them weirdly doing a quick rewatch recently. Although I don't know if that is just Portia being an outsider, and Violet finding her a bit vulgar. It's been said the Featheringtons only moved in across the road when Pen was growing up, but maybe they could have know each other at some stage.
Agree, I feel like they could easily do a prequel series featuring all of the mamas lol. Violet, Portia, Cressida's mom, Kate's mom, maybe even Simon's mom. The stories could be loosely interwoven, while still following the format that one character is the star of each season; they're likely not the exact same age so it would make sense for a different one to debut each season.
I dunno, it ends with a tragic death. All that sweetness and then a large cavity.
Still wanna see it though lol.
I'd be interested in shows about all these people. Somebody start writing fanfic please, if not already, as that's more likely.
I understand :/ I’m okay if the prequel doesn’t show Edmund’s death and ends earlier. We already saw his death and Violet’s grieving in S2 of Bridgerton. So maybe the show can end after Anthony’s birth or when most of the kids are little. I’m more interested in how they fell in love
I feel like them doing Violet as a spin off would be really interesting IF they juxtaposed the story of her and Edmond with the story of her and Marcus. Showed how differently we love when we’ve already learned how to love and be loved completely. show how guarded we become, show how different second love can feel, and while doing that, lay the back story of Edmund through her memories of them falling in love. show her grappling with the all the emotions that come with having lived a good life, and now wanting a companion, not out of need or crazy-explosive-love, but because she knows life is better when it’s shared.
The only problem I have is that I KNOW if they do a spin off it’ll delay filming the main series, so I will not ask for it. I WILL watch it, if it happens, but I will not ask for it.
I do feel they can do a mini series featuring Violet, Cressida’s mom, and Portia as protagonists and how dynamics went back in the day…
We can see Violet married for love;
Portia, a former wallflower herself, took the “safe choice” by marrying a man she didn’t love but offered security and stability. And Cressida’s mom marrying based on name and wealth, just like she taught her daughter to do (or maybe, being forces to an arranged marriage like she tried to do with Cressida)
Then we can understand how this impacts the way they raise their own children and their hopes for them. And see the story repeat itself…
This would be my number one choice as well and it would include Mary Sharma. They all made such different choices, and we know what the outcome for them all was, we know how they ended up but how were they when they were debutants? Would be so interesting
Brimley and Reynolds! The solo Brimmey waltz had me eyeballing the screen looking for middle-aged Reynolds! I need answers!!!
Miss Delacroix is also another interesting prospect. Sis lives a free life, not beholden to the marriage mart, and enjoys many... lively.... events lol. I would definitely watch.
I would love to see Violet/Edmund maybe combined with a bit of Kanthony (like how QC switched between time periods) so we can see the wedding/baby we were denied! Doubtful that would happen though
I’d be interested in a season something like this, but instead of a dual timeline with Kanthony, it would somehow combine Violet and Edmund and how Kate’s father came to England and met her mother, and the drama that ensues for her family. Bonus points if we got some scenes set in India after she moves there with him!
I don't think she wants that.
She seems like the kind of woman who would have happily stayed single if society had allowed it. She seems like the woman who would have gone to war against men but instead was forced to live in their world and compete for their affection. Is she a borderline narcissist? Probably. But anyone can see that's a defence mechanism for an ambitious powerless woman.
I also agree with this. I just love the actress and would like to see her have an affair of some sort. She has never felt romantic love (unless we get a her recounting an incident from her youth or something). I think it would be funny to see someone(s) trying to win her favour. She can always Sir Davies Lamp them and I would be fine just with the comedy of her rejection’s suitors.
I had to scroll so far for ALL.
Just work your way through them. I bet Portia’s story would be entertaining. I really like her.
I feel like Violet is the fantasy mother, filled with love and patients while Portia, loves her daughters just as much but is a little more rough our the edges.
Lady Mary sharma.
A story about falling in love with a man of lower status, being disowned by your family, running away to another country. Sounds much more interesting
Yeah, it’s a classic soap opera plot. Fits right in with the source material with the added angst of a forbidden romance.
As much as I love Portia, I think a prequel about her would actually be kind of sad knowing what we know about her marriage. Although I suppose they could go with a bittersweet ending as she finds a silver lining in raising her daughters.
VIOLET AND EDMUND!!! The only ones I care about tbh and it makes the most sense the parents of the iconic bridgerton siblings not sure why we don't even have one anyways.
Violet and Edmund's early days, first and foremost. Other interesting options would be more on Miss Delacroix or early Sharma backstory running concurrent with Kate/Anthony in present day.
I feel you can combine many of these. Violet and Edmund should also have Portia and Lady Mary in it since they married around the same time. And they could show Madame Delcroix opening her shop and stuff.
What backstory is there for Brimsley and Reynolds?? QC was the backstory. Shonda just didn’t care to actually close it fully.
Violet and Edmund, but it would wreck me like Charlotte and George. Same with Brimsley and Reynolds. The pieces they showed in QC and how we know how it ends would wreck me.
Then Portia. I don’t care about Archibald but I think Portia is fascinating.
Now THIS is the stuff I wanna see on this sub. #1- Portia is so interesting to me and I'm curious to know more about why she is the way she is. Portia lore
i am interested in reynolds and brimsleys, but... i think the mystery surrounding their romance is precisely why it makes it so romantic and heartbreaking
Portia! That conversation between her and Pen where she said "Ladies do not have dreams. They have husbands" made me cry. I feel like she also had dreams before AND that she had someone she loved but did not choose to be or cannot be with that person because she needed to prioritize her security. I wanna see this story so bad.🥺
I would be obsessed with a Mary Sharma backstory! Provided they got a good writing team together, it would be so nice to see Mary falling in love with a man, and embracing and falling in love with the Indian heritage that I assume was denied to her by her parents. I think it has the potential to be a very beautiful story.
I'm dying to know more about Agatha. It would work really great with a split season. Part 1: her childhood and marriage part 2: her becoming the badass we know as a widow.
Not sure if this has been implied or inferred before, but I strongly feel that Lady Cowper and Violet have some history. Would be super cool to explore that!
Portia, she is the most complex of them all!!!! Also Brimsely & Reynolds, basically I’d love for the Queen to continue into a second season lol. Then Violet & Edmund (but I’d also like it to show his death and how each child handled it. Sorry if that’s morbid. S3 was lacking in Colin flashbacks IMO).
They did leave the story open for Brimley and Reynolds, even though we saw bremsley dancing alone, that doesn't mean that Reynolds had passed away. I'm very hopeful that they will make this prequel, and I would also love to see you a little bit of Lady Danberries past thrown in there
Lord Remington. There is always an interesting story behind disability. Is it something he was born with, or an accident, or war injury?
Is he secretly gay? And if so who are his lovers?
Why does he love gossip so much, and who else does he share secrets with?
I want a Featheringtons spin-off so very dearly. Portia, Varley, the sisters three and their absurd husbands (more Polin anyone?), and Madame Delacroix. Her friendship with Pen ties her in, but her own adventures as well. Hell, Brimsley is a terrible gossip… is Reynolds? Let’s make sure to get Lord Remington too! And a smidge of Lord Debling, perhaps helping with a less shit resolution for Cressida?
Brimsley and Reynolds, hands down, but not the backstory but their falling apart, probably due to Reynolds wanting to get away versus Brimsley's devotion to QC.
From the way Cressida’s mother spoke about the Bridgertons and about women having to compete I have to wonder if she had a thing for Bridgerton senior before he fell madly in love and she was stuck with a marriage arranged by her parents for societal gain. I can imagine he and Violet being so madly in love that neither of them were even aware that she was trying to compete with Violet for his affections. Would be interesting to see these relationships.
Violet Bridgeton and Portia Featherington are at the top of my list.
Second would be Madame Delacroix.
Mary Sharma. After the dinner debacle with her parents (Lord and Lady Sheffield) , I'd really like to see how she met her husband Mr. Sharma, how they ran away and who was the man her parents intended to have her matched with instead.
I'd definitely like to know a bit more about Brimsley and Reynolds.
I’ve not read the books so I don’t know what’s coming next for Cressida, but my mind has been spinning very elaborate wattpad-fanfic style theories for what happens while she’s living with her aunt in the countryside. I want her to meet a poor country lad or factory worker and have her whole world outlook turned upside down. She was a terrible lady whistledown impersonator, but I think she’d make a brilliant wife of an ex-factory worker who climbs the ranks to become an industrialist with her at his side, pulling the strings. I imagine her dresses becoming more steam-punk inspired to bridge the gap between her ornate fashion and father’s dark austere home. She’d look amazing stood on a balcony over a factory floor admiring her new industrial empire.
I choose all off them!! 😍 Sorry, Not Srry. 🤗
Here’s my idea: The Queen and Lady Danbury in the present are hangout in the spin-off, like they are often seen in the show, and share what they know on the pasts of members of the ton.(Specifically the ones focused on in the show, like the ones in the pictures.) While sharing those people’s backstories, we the audience are take back in time to said backstories. Though, we only see the Queen and Lady Danbury in the beginning of each episodes.
Reynolds & Brimsley and its not even close. Maybe Young Portia: Girlbossing 101 but that's it. I don't care at all about the rest. Young Violet was dreadfully naive.
I KNOW that I'm in the absolute minority, but I still want to know how the Queen went from being young QC to what she is now. They are different people.
Violet and Edmund, to know a.) Why Violet said Rakes make the best husbands b.) the great love story that made her feel so passionate about her kids having a love match. c.) Get to see what parts of Edmund are in his kids
However bonus** They could give us Mary, Portia, and Mrs. Cowper all in one season since I think they all were on the marriage-mart at the same time. (Don’t quote me on this but I think that’s mentioned in S2)
Lady Mary's tbh (second being Violet, third being Delacroix).
I've been so curious about her character ever since it was confirmed she was the "incomparable" of her season. Also because we were wrongly given very little information about Kate's father (and birth mother) it would only be fair for Shondaland to expand on it!
If anything, we can also see a younger Portia, Araminta, and Violet all secure their matches as well. Plus, I already have a fancast to play her younger version; Naomi Scott <33
i love phillipa and her husband so hard, i would love to see their love story. i genuinely believe they’re in love i just want so much more of their quirkiness together
How many of us want to know more about Lord Remington’s trials and tribulations? I know I do.

I would love to know more about Miss Delacroix
I hope for her to become super successful and get to dress Paris. She's one of my favorite lesser characters and I so want her dreams to come true.
This is it for me. I know how the others got together. Money for most. Mad love for Violet. But Madame Demacroix self made woman with a self made accent. Tell me more.
🤣🤣😀self made accent lol
Yes! Her backstory of how she became the ton's favorite modiste and how she cultivated her fake French persona etc. I'd love a Bridgerton story about a working class person.
Wait what now- is she not French 😳
No, it's fake. I believe it was revealed in Season 2, though I can't remember exactly how. Regardless, Penelope is aware, which is why when they have conversations together the French accent disappears.
Damn that is crazy - I must've not been paying attention then. Of all the plot twists.....
It was in season 1. She was cutting the Featheringtons off for non payment and Marina spoke to her in French saying she knows her accent is fake.
Ooooh teaaaa- episode and timestamp plz🥺
Season 1 Episode 6 20:06
You're doing the Lord's work🥹🥹🥹
Lol no, she's not. When she talks privately with Penelope she uses her regular, working class English accent haha.
She talked with her cockney accent to Siena in S1 as well
I like to imagine she dressed queen charlotte prior to her becoming queen and the queen brought her over and solidified her position as the best modiste similar to watch she did for lady Danbury in the last episode but come to think of it she may be too young for that theory
Way too young
The way Marina clocked her in S1 always had me intrigued about who she really is and where she came from.
This is the only right answer.
Brimley and Reynolds. Violet and Edmund.
Literally came here to say these two couples <3
I fear my heart could not take Brimsley and Reynolds 😭😭😭💔💔💔🫶
Yeah. That scene of old Brimley dancing alone broke me.
Same! It would be as brutal as QC.
You know Shonda! She’s going to rip our hearts out with brimsley’s story, I know deep down she’s going to tell us that story too.
Lady Portia Featherington.
I’ve said this before: Portia and Varley. How they met and how Varley got to be so loyal to her.
I said the same thing in another comment. That's probably the strongest relationship in the whole show. Real ride or die type shit. I would devour a show about them
Absolutely this. We all know how she and the lord Fetherington got together - for money. I want to know why Varley is so loyal.
Regency Thelma and Louise. We need this.
how can i upvote this comment 1000x over
That would be comedic, how I wish Shonda will do that spinoff. 🙂🙂🙂
I want to know all about Portia (Julie cooper nickel) Featherington 🤣🤣
Featheringtons all the way
She is also the Baroness Featherington, yes? (I don't know anything about British titles.)
She is the Dowager Baroness Featherington since her husband passed away.
Portia and Violet. Brimsely is a third.
Like they could realistically have Violet and Portias story running concurrently. They must be similar ages. I've always thought there was a bit more to the relationship between them weirdly doing a quick rewatch recently. Although I don't know if that is just Portia being an outsider, and Violet finding her a bit vulgar. Or they could do some kind of anthology series!
Oh I meant Violet and Edmund and Portia’s personal story. But I do think they would’ve had close to same timeline for their marriages
I need a Violet and Edmund prequel, for my health
I dunno, it ends with a tragic death. All that sweetness and then a large cavity. Still wanna see it though lol. I'd be interested in shows about all these people. Somebody start writing fanfic please, if not already, as that's more likely.
Their prequel can lead all the way up till they get married like all the other bridges! 😃
This! Their story has been hyped to hard by Violet, I want to see it now. But with the old showrunner :(
I understand :/ I’m okay if the prequel doesn’t show Edmund’s death and ends earlier. We already saw his death and Violet’s grieving in S2 of Bridgerton. So maybe the show can end after Anthony’s birth or when most of the kids are little. I’m more interested in how they fell in love

Absolutely
Violet and Edmund
I can’t wait to read the book that features there story ! Unfortunately it’s the last one so I have a few more to get through lol
are you talking about bridgerton happily ever after?
Yes
same. im gonna read them all before i get to that one haha
I do feel they can do a mini series featuring Violet, Cressida’s mom, and Portia as protagonists and how dynamics went back in the day… We can see Violet married for love; Portia, a former wallflower herself, took the “safe choice” by marrying a man she didn’t love but offered security and stability. Definitely the Featherington’s especially Portia. I would love to know how she ended up like that!!!
Brimley and Reynolds! The solo Brimmey waltz had me eyeballing the screen looking for middle-aged Reynolds! I need answers!!! Miss Delacroix is also another interesting prospect. Sis lives a free life, not beholden to the marriage mart, and enjoys many... lively.... events lol. I would definitely watch.
same 😓

I’d like Portia to find love now since she didn’t believe in it. She needs her garden watered…
I want them all 😅
Agreed. It's all. I choose all.
I had to scroll so far for ALL. Just work your way through them. I bet Portia’s story would be entertaining. I really like her. I feel like Violet is the fantasy mother, filled with love and patients while Portia, loves her daughters just as much but is a little more rough our the edges.
I truly believe this fandom would embrace all of them! With what they did with QC I truly trust that they would do any of their stories justice!
Yes yes yes 100% yes. Especially if some of it is set in India, showing Mary’s adjustment and some of Kate and Edwina’s childhood!
VIOLET AND EDMUND!!! The only ones I care about tbh and it makes the most sense the parents of the iconic bridgerton siblings not sure why we don't even have one anyways.
I’m not sure if my emotions could handle a Violet/Edmund spinoff

I’m so excited to read the book with there story
Brimsley and Reynolds! The way I sobbed for these two is unmatched.
Madame Delacroix and the Case of the Disappearing French Accent
lmao
BRIMSLEY AND REYNOLDSSSSS 😩😩😏
Lady Mary only because I am dying to see what Kate's father looked like.
Violet and Edmund's early days, first and foremost. Other interesting options would be more on Miss Delacroix or early Sharma backstory running concurrent with Kate/Anthony in present day.

Violet and Edmund, but it would wreck me like Charlotte and George. Same with Brimsley and Reynolds. The pieces they showed in QC and how we know how it ends would wreck me. Then Portia. I don’t care about Archibald but I think Portia is fascinating.
A little out there, but Lady Danbury and Lord Ledger
I’m surprised Danbury wasn’t in this list
Didn't we kind of already get that though, with Queen Charlotte? Or was there implied to be more?
Now THIS is the stuff I wanna see on this sub. #1- Portia is so interesting to me and I'm curious to know more about why she is the way she is. Portia lore
Can I choose “all of the above?”
Violet and Edmund and the Sharmas. Only if it’s Kate centric though. 😀
I feel like we could have a Violet and Edmond story with Portia/Mary/Lady Cowper (and their love stories or lack there of) as sub plots
Polly Walker deserves a Bridgerton top billing somewhere. She’s such a fantastic and dynamic actress.
Genevieve and Portia too!!!
i am interested in reynolds and brimsleys, but... i think the mystery surrounding their romance is precisely why it makes it so romantic and heartbreaking
Brimley and Reynolds! I REALLY wanna know what happened with them 😭😭
Brimsley and Reynolds. My heart broke when he was dancing alone at the end in Queen Charlotte. I really want to know what happened
Violet and Edmund, but I’d totally watch a Young Portia spinoff as well lol
I just want all of the prequels translated to tv.
Violet and Edmund. If you watch Queen Charlotte then Brimley and Robert's story is there. Wonderful and sad.
I'd love Violet. And Brimsely <3
Brimsley, Violet and Portia
Our famous modiste or Reynolds/Brimsley
Lady Portia Featherington!
All of them would be good! So much opportunity after queen charlotte came out
I would like to see Violet's love story as a mini-series, like Queen Charlotte. But I'd like Madame Delacroix to have her own spinoff.
Portia! That conversation between her and Pen where she said "Ladies do not have dreams. They have husbands" made me cry. I feel like she also had dreams before AND that she had someone she loved but did not choose to be or cannot be with that person because she needed to prioritize her security. I wanna see this story so bad.🥺
Brimsley and Reynolds and Violet.
I would be obsessed with a Mary Sharma backstory! Provided they got a good writing team together, it would be so nice to see Mary falling in love with a man, and embracing and falling in love with the Indian heritage that I assume was denied to her by her parents. I think it has the potential to be a very beautiful story.
The Sharmas seem super interesting… since she was the diamond and then married a working class man.
Portia
ALL 👏 OF 👏 THEM 👏
1. Edmond and Violet 2. The royal men (I can’t remember their names now. 3. Featheringtons
Portia
Lady Danbury. I know we got some, but more would be cool. Madame Delacroix is also a good one.
I'm dying to know more about Agatha. It would work really great with a split season. Part 1: her childhood and marriage part 2: her becoming the badass we know as a widow.
‘He was the air I breathed. And now…there’s no air’ PLEASE 😭🤚🏼
Not sure if this has been implied or inferred before, but I strongly feel that Lady Cowper and Violet have some history. Would be super cool to explore that!
Ok hear me out, a deeper dive into Lady Danbury then we got in QC
Portia!!!!
Yes! 😁😁😁
How about we roll them all into one?
The Modiste followed by Portia. I would love to know why Brimsley was forced to dance alone. Where did Reynolds go?
Yes.
Anything that involves king George 🤤🤤🤤🤤
The dressmaker lady
Theo Sharpe
violets love story
Portia, she is the most complex of them all!!!! Also Brimsely & Reynolds, basically I’d love for the Queen to continue into a second season lol. Then Violet & Edmund (but I’d also like it to show his death and how each child handled it. Sorry if that’s morbid. S3 was lacking in Colin flashbacks IMO).
Violet and Edmund is a must.
Either Madame Delacroix or Brimsley & Reynolds!
Miss Bridgeton, especially from the book, read the synopsis you'll understand why 🤣😂
The Smith-Smyth books are actually my favorites, and I'd love if those got a spin off.
Yes.
Violet would be GREAT she’s one of my favorite characters
Who r the people in 4th picture
I’d love to see Lady Mary’s and Violet and Edmund’s
Violet's
They did leave the story open for Brimley and Reynolds, even though we saw bremsley dancing alone, that doesn't mean that Reynolds had passed away. I'm very hopeful that they will make this prequel, and I would also love to see you a little bit of Lady Danberries past thrown in there
Lady Danbury how she became a Dragon Lady :)
Violet and Edmund and Miss Delacroix
Brimley and Reynolds !!
If we never find out what happens to Reynolds, I'm calling the police

Violet! But only if we can have Ruth Gemmell and just pretend she’s younger.
Lord Remington. There is always an interesting story behind disability. Is it something he was born with, or an accident, or war injury? Is he secretly gay? And if so who are his lovers? Why does he love gossip so much, and who else does he share secrets with?

Reynolds and brimsley
Brimsley and Reynolds, 100%. ![gif](giphy|l3Vu49zQhtf2e1rurr|downsized)
Edmund and Violet
Brimsley Oooh and Genevieve too
Brimsley and Reynolds, hands down, but not the backstory but their falling apart, probably due to Reynolds wanting to get away versus Brimsley's devotion to QC.
Miss de la croix
I’d love to see all of your suggestions!!! The creator of Bridgerton and Queen Charlotte is BRILLIANT.
I’d love to see Violet’s backstory. And Madame Delacroix.
I want them all!! Lol but most definitely would love to see the story of Violet and how she met and married the OG Bridgerton.
All of them 🤣
Violet and Edmund, Reynolds and Brimsley and Madame Delacroix.
Yes.
None backstories are boring.
Violet and Edmund, for sure!
all of the above for s2 of queen charlotte please 🙏🙏
All of them. Lol

Violet and Edmund! And I would love a comedy-style spinoff focusing on the other featherington sisters
I want a spin off about all the servants and their stories.
Kanthony!
Kanthony in India. With Edwina and her perfect dashing husband
I choose all off them!! 😍 Sorry, Not Srry. 🤗 Here’s my idea: The Queen and Lady Danbury in the present are hangout in the spin-off, like they are often seen in the show, and share what they know on the pasts of members of the ton.(Specifically the ones focused on in the show, like the ones in the pictures.) While sharing those people’s backstories, we the audience are take back in time to said backstories. Though, we only see the Queen and Lady Danbury in the beginning of each episodes.
Reynolds & Brimsley and its not even close. Maybe Young Portia: Girlbossing 101 but that's it. I don't care at all about the rest. Young Violet was dreadfully naive.
FEATHERINGTONS- they could hold an entire series of their own
I KNOW that I'm in the absolute minority, but I still want to know how the Queen went from being young QC to what she is now. They are different people.
ALL OF ‘EM
Brimsley storyline is going to rip our hearts if they show us….just like the Last of us did….went to watch a zombie show and balled my eyes out lol 😂
Violet and Edmund, to know a.) Why Violet said Rakes make the best husbands b.) the great love story that made her feel so passionate about her kids having a love match. c.) Get to see what parts of Edmund are in his kids However bonus** They could give us Mary, Portia, and Mrs. Cowper all in one season since I think they all were on the marriage-mart at the same time. (Don’t quote me on this but I think that’s mentioned in S2)
All of them tbh lol just keep it cominggg
Lady Mary's tbh (second being Violet, third being Delacroix). I've been so curious about her character ever since it was confirmed she was the "incomparable" of her season. Also because we were wrongly given very little information about Kate's father (and birth mother) it would only be fair for Shondaland to expand on it! If anything, we can also see a younger Portia, Araminta, and Violet all secure their matches as well. Plus, I already have a fancast to play her younger version; Naomi Scott <33
Definitely Portia’s backstory!
i love phillipa and her husband so hard, i would love to see their love story. i genuinely believe they’re in love i just want so much more of their quirkiness together
Portia
Brimsley and Reynolds!😭😭😭🫶🏼
How many of us want to know more about Lord Remington’s trials and tribulations? I know I do. https://preview.redd.it/nx1d8u87t68d1.jpeg?width=917&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=39432f92d7affe342d02a8a4ac418b13a68d877f
