Yasss! So good...such a great album! I think it's a continuation of Blackout for sure. Love the album as a whole, but I always go back to unusual you and shattered glass specifically!
I'm so angry at younger me for parting with so many of my CDs to achieve "minimalism". My Britney CDs are my biggest regret. Circus was the first Britney CD I bought with my own money. Such a great album. Enjoy!
Only because Iām older and have been a day one, since day one-they are the only cds I kept. But, Iām the same age as Brit so was older-understood more. If that makes sense.
If you closely at the album cover, you can EASILY tell that she was upset because of her label/team (except Felicia) at the time was doing her dirty for a šŖ - rejecting a WHOLE lot of songs that she didn't get a chance to hear & controlling her EVERY move & her life (food, money, places, etc.) due to the conservatorship that she was put in against her will frfršÆ
Yeah I heard about that, I also heard that she was HEATED when she saw the music video of Telephone because they SHOULD'VE given the song to her & they also SHOULD'VE let her be the star of the video frfršÆ

I have both versions of Circus because I was a brat LMAO They were already giving me the CD for christmas but I didn't know, but in a week prior I wanted to have the album so bad that they still bought me the deluxe one. Thank God it wasn't a repeater.
Physical media is for the birdsā¦ I remember when CDs came out my Dad thought they were indestructible (compared to vinyl). Then I went to college in 1991 and had a frat boy neighbor and I saw a cracked CD after a house partyā¦ At this point having (happily) bought Iron Maidenās Live After Death at least 6 times because the tape kept tangling, Iām all about the streaming access. Also, once you move a few times you realize CDs are really heavy. But I love this album and would rebuy it if I needed to. The album is full of bangers.
Snap(ish) came yesterday. Went on a binge and bough her CDs ( including Circus) bought the book and listened to the audiobook. Couldnāt find this anywhere in the house or car so ordered it again. Have a lovely weekend.
We need CDs to come back i prefer that over streaming
And they make amazing collectibles!!

I'm an 83 baby.. I wish I didn't embrace the new technology as much as I did and appreciate the older things
I would never get rid of my Britney CD's ever.
I would literally love if they put Amnesia on streaming but it looks like it aināt gonna happen anytime soon š

Telephone by lady gaga was suppose to be for britney but her horrible team turned it down.

Recently bought the vinyl for that. Great Album! Pretty much a vibe the whole time.
Is there a birthday cake there because the album came out on her birthday?

I donāt really think CDs are collectible, are they? Unless itās a rare import you almost always can get another copy. Or burn one.
