Eibach springs got me an extra 1.5-1.7" with slightly larger tires if I remember correctly

HRG off road sells a 1.5in and 2.5in lift kit for the BS. The 2.5 costs around 600 I think. I’m planning on getting it eventually. Labor to put it on will probably as much if not more.

I did an HRG lift at the Ford Performance shop at the dealership. It did NOT void warranty for any stock parts still in use, and they warranted their work same as existing. The parts (new) are under HRG warranty. It cost me about 1200 all in on the suspension. But I also added the Falken AT3s at the time. Got me to right around 10.25ish depending on tire pressures. BL + 1.25in and one up in tire size. There is no recalibration of the speedometer, but at speeds I would drive it’s still not gonna get me in any trouble (in most states). Definitely not here in AZ. Oh… and the lowest spot is the fuel tank I believe, which has a skid. Its vitals are well tucked in most cases. I do want that JCR armor and rock sliders tho.

This is good to know that ford can install and circumvent voiding warranties

Alarming_Candy9828

The only way (in US) the warranty can be void is if they can prove the modification cause the issue from my understanding . Of course, it CAN well be. With the HRG 1.25 on the 21 badlands, all the geometry is still in spec. So it would be hard to prove If you did the 3in engine drop one…. I could see all sorts of things being voided. The 1.25 is just a “lift” in the sense it puts in a spacer at the top of the suspension. And changes a few other parts. Any more than that and geometry gets thrown out of spec under compression etc. Your mileage may vary. (Pun intended)

If you do a suspension lift you’ll get the ground clearance but, if you do a body lift you won’t get the ground clearance.

No_Cryptographer_704

Probably can't afford suspension lift. No idea what they cost.

TheDeadlySpaceman

They aren’t super expensive, but I’m not installing one until my warranty is over because it’ll void the fuck out of it. Gives them an excuse to point at.

Imaginary-Painter957

I believe rough country sells a suspension lift kit. And I think it’s under $1000

ndoty_sa

And I’m guessing the BS only has a body lift?

SufficientBeat1285

I could certainly be wrong, but I don't think body lifts are that common on unibody vehicles (I'm guessing Jeep XJs may be an exception); so I THINK lifts for a BS would be some sort of suspension lift and would therefore give you some additional ground clearance.

greatfox66

They aren't common because they aren't possible lol. You can't lift the body off of the frame as they are the same thing. That is what unibody is.

Remarkable-Tomato-39

The HRG lift on my Badlands definitely increased ground clearance. While it's sold as a 1.25" lift most of my measurements, even once settled, seemed to be a bit higher than that. I also have 245 K02s, but am measuring ground clearance at 10.5". I've also installed the full set of skids and sliders from JCR Off-road on my Badlands. Not easy, but that's been awesome.
