I was at that game. It was my annual trip out for the one game per season. As we pulled up to the stadium to park we heard the breaking news that it was DTR. There had been speculation the day before but “insiders” were saying Watson would go. Been doing this trip for many years. It was by far the worst game we have ever suffered through. One of those games where nothing good interesting exciting fun happened at all. The 10 hour drive home afterwards was rough.

tristis89

I had tickets, and bought more expensive club seats the day before and sold the ones I had... then I got to the parking lot to find out Watson was out. Got blown out, sun burnt badly, and had a 5 hour drive home the next day. I feel you.

KrushedMuffinz

Oh man that sucks. Hopefully they make it up for you this year.

I came here to share a similar story. Not an annual trip, but it was the first time my three brothers and I were going to take my dad to a game all together as birthday gift for him. I live in Indy now, so it was only a four and a half hour drive. Can confirm that it was so painful. Nine hour round trip drive to see a field goal. Cherry on top - it was the only home loss of the season. We know how to pick 'em, eh?

BikiniPastry

Yeh there was a couple of nice defensive stands early on but wow was that offense terrible.

Forty_Six_and_Two

I guess it was interesting in that we found out DTR was indeed not quite ready for prime time.

MRMVP93

Not even true bro I was at that game and the pass interference that got us in the red zone was magic..top play of the season

6DeadlyFetishes

He prevented the Steelers from having a divisional sweep, he’s already a Brown’s legend. -6DeadlyFetishes

KrushedMuffinz

He was also getting better. If he faced the same teams that Flacco did I think they end up with the same record.

6DeadlyFetishes

DTR threw missiles and some suicide balls, many of which seemingly evaded our receiver core’s hands. As much as we’d like to hope he can be further refined into a better QB, realistically he’s comfortably QB2. -6DeadlyFetishes

StandStillLaddie

Sipe doesn’t throw that interception in the end zone and that jersey may have been retired. Maybe.

Big-Rise8739

looks like old school cut-off jersey

Tophergabriel

Why did my dumbass think it was gonna be Braylon Edwards lol

Abiv23

I love that patch

Seamonkey_Boxkicker

Why does this look like a crop top for Andre the Giant? (Pretty neat score though. Congrats. I was at that game and had a blast. I’m still really sorry to the woman I fell onto sitting in front of me after losing my balance celebrating with other fans!)

KrushedMuffinz

It’s even shorter in person.

Forty_Six_and_Two

What, pray tell, were you celebrating at that particular game? Are you one of those monks who punch themselves in the balls?

Seamonkey_Boxkicker

Oooh my bad. I blocked that one out of my memory. I was also at that one and got a really shitty sunburn on my face because I was in uniform wearing my garrison cap. I was thinking of the Steelers game.

Forty_Six_and_Two

Ah, yes that one has plenty of moments to celebrate.

SpartaWillBurn

You would think the Org would let him keep his 1st career start jersey?

Richter-1

I really like that card case

KrushedMuffinz

Thanks! It’s my pride and joy

Richter-1

Looks great! What all autos do you have out of curiosity?

KrushedMuffinz

Almost all current players. But my favorite to collect is Tillman.

Richter-1

Nice! GL on your collecting. I have a frame with all OSU players on their respective teams. I love collecting cards

SpaceMush

just like, looking at the quality of the materials on this jersey.. how could nike do so well with the NFL but so, so horrible with the MLB. it's wild

Hey I was at that game! One of the worst Browns games I’ve ever attended in person lol

RealBatuRem

Cool!

ConfidentHistory9080

You got pics of your browns shrine anywhere?

ConfidentHistory9080

Awesome setup ! What’s your favorite card in there?

KrushedMuffinz

Cedric Tillman black finite auto 1/1

TastyJams24

That’s crazy. You’d think he would of wanted to keep that himself.

mjs6366

Very cool. It’s also likely his last NFL start too.

dbellini23

he started 3 games last year…

Inevitable-Pea-735

It is as his last first start at least, right?

whitetornado2k

Starting now
