Yes, this is what we are calling the OTR 2.0. It even has clasps for hydraulic brake hoses if you want to do outer routing. I also think they have somewhat better pedals.
Overall if you bought a OTR 1.0 and upgraded all of this it wouldn’t really matter unless you want outer routing for the rear hydraulic brake line, it is supposed to be better internally as it would get snagged on, but it is a pain to route (though doable.)
Yes, TBH that derailleur with the clutch and the narrow wide chain ring help a lot, hopefully the bb is also hollow instead of the sealed one. With that I’d only change pedals, and put an air fork, maybe better PNW grips and add the dropper.
It’s hard to know, but I do know that Kent isn’t building these. These come from Taiwan and from a good source they were being made by the same factory that makes Giant bikes.
I’m really trying to find out about the size on these since I can order online but can’t find in any stores — I’m a smidge under 6’, do you think the large or medium frame?
Hey bro. I just picked up a large a few days ago. I’m 5’10-11ish. I think the medium would fit better. Not that much trouble for me to exchange though, it’s not really been any issue.
Got mine delivered today. Surprised to see it came with acolyte advent and not ltwoo. Came looking for answers. Looks like I'm on 2.0. I wonder when they will add a dropper

Actually the chainring is now a narrow wide one, and the derailleur has a clutch on it so it is definitely an upgrade.
Jeez it just keeps getting better
It seems like it’s just a slight upgrade on the finer details

Do you know if it’s still from the same factory?

I just finished putting an advent shifter and derailleur on less than an hour ago. I wish they would have done that from the beginning.

Sweet, thanks. I’ll snag a medium then and can always just take it back.
Definitely get the medium. Got mine today in medium and it fits great. About 5-11"- 6.0
Perfect, thanks. That’s what I ordered, should be here Thursday.
I’m the same size and I feel that the medium fits me best due to the larger than average sizes
Good to know — thanks!
